Zoey Satoshi vs Jay Zokaro

Getting his footing back, Jay stands there. He waits patiently as his opponent seemed to be surprised to land an attack like that on him. Whether it was weak or strong, there was no point to dodging anything like that in the first few moments of the fight. He didn't want to reveal to her how well guarded he could keep himself. He takes her remark and does nothing with it.

He only stares the smaller woman down with his green eyes. As if he was trying to read her like a book. And you bet that's exactly what he was trying to do. Deciding not to keep a stalemate and take action, he quickly steps to the side a few steps and takes stance again, seeing if Zoey would attack and also testing her reflexes to a few quick moves.

Zoey was quite a lot smaller than Jay, her eyes about level with his shoulders if the two were to stand side-by-side. With Jay moving quickly to the side, the tiny Japanese teen responded by bouncing in the opposite direction to keep him from getting around her. She couldn't help but keep smirking and quietly giggling at her opponent, having never considered that she'd be expected to fight someone of the opposite gender after signing on with Friction.

As soon as her feet touched down against the canvas, she crouched down and sprung forwards to try and throw her whole weight into Jay's waist with the intention of bringing him down onto the mat, yelling out with a rather adorable "Nyaah!". Hopefully she'd be able to land a few quick hits to Jay's head and upper body and then get away before he could retaliate, but things rarely went how she thought they would. Regardless, if he didn't brace himself in time, Jay would find himself staring up at the ceiling.

She seemed to have quick reflexes. Typical of someone small. And Jay has dealt with his fair share of the like. Although, Jay was not expecting that Zoey would launch herself towards him with such force and speed. Pushing her feet off of the canvas, she gained the power to tackle the man as hard as she probably could have. Successfully taking him off guard, Jay quickly went to work in the short amount of time that the two were falling for.

Joining his hands together above them both, he comes down with a double axe handle on her back. Of which would land just about after the two land on the mat. He lets out a solid grunt when landing. "Ugh!" Hoping this would break her guard, Jay would wrap both arms around the smaller woman and squeeze tight for a grounded bearhug if he could.

Zoey's quick tackle paid off, and the pair stumbled quickly to the ground. What the tiny girl wasn't quite expecting was how quickly Jay was able to react to it, suffering a pretty hard hit to the back that made her let out a loud yelp of pain and putting a quick end to her plans, putting her on the defensive. She got up quickly to straddle Jay's waist as the man's hands came up towards her.

In response, Zoey's own hands shot out and caught his arms at the wrists, the teen fighting desperately to hold them back while she shuffled backwards towards safety. Jay's greatly superior strength meant it was a struggle she was guaranteed to lose, but Zoey meant to delay the bearhug just long enough to make her escape.

Speed was key. And Jay didn't have that. His arms were at th disadvantage with angle and gravity. They shook a bit visibly as he tries to overcome them and grab Zoey. But the woman just barely managed to get away and off of him. Jay pushed himself back before sitting up.

"You're really starting to pissed me off..." Jay slowly starts to rise to his feet, not wanting to get in a position like that again. He seems to again wait for her to attack him, silly as that may seem.

Zoey gasped with relief at having escaped, she doubted her own ability to escape a bearhug from someone like Jay, especially given he'd simply have to roll over on top of her to make it excruciatingly hard. She rolled backwards onto one foot, and pushed upwards to a stand, balancing perfectly on just one foot with a teasing smile. Jay even went so far as to admit he was getting frustrated, leading the young redhead to giggle.

"You make it too easy." she replied, waiting for him to get back on his feet before stomping her other foot down onto the canvas and dashing forwards, jumping up when she got really close to attempt a flying knee aimed for Jay's head!

"Do I? Or are you just that annoying?" He fires back at her. Jay gets in stance and ready again. A sudden stomp on the mat only got him ore ready. And for good reason. She was coming right at him! A rookie mistake to let your opponent know when you are coming at them with the intent to attack. Jay had enough time too, with the distance the two created between themselves.

When she got near, Jay would lean heavily to the side to try and dodge her knee coming up at his head. He would use a palm to throw at her knee, effectively trying to throw Zoey off balance and try to even get her to make a hard landing if he could do so. It was something smart to do before coming in with the heavy hitting attacks and submissions.

Zoey bit her lip and smirked at Jay's response, the little redhead gave him a wink in reply just before she attempted her move. Unfortunately, the smaller wrestler found that her knee only hit the air, causing her to let out a squeal of terror and quickly look to her side, just in time for Jay to strike her knee. The force of the blow nearly made her flip over sideways, but she landed pretty hard on her side before that could happen.

With a pained groan, she quickly brought her arms over her head and curled up to try and protect herself, expecting Jay to follow up the takedown with all kinds of painful blows given how frustrated he seemed just a moment ago. The girl was left wide open, with Jay being given plenty of time to attack in whatever way he saw fit before she'd try and make an escape.

Even though things were about even from what Lina saw upto this point point, she was not liking some of what she saw and heard from Jay. "Less talk more action!" she called out to him when he mentioned something about annoyance towards Zoey. While it looked like Jay was attempting to pull ahead at the current moment she couldn't tell what he was attempting to go for with the opening it looked like he had.

Feeling his execution could be a bit more smoother and effective he tells him "Do something and stick with it!" Sometimes she could be difficult to please.

Movement was the key to any fighter. With Jay being out-paced by Zoey, he had to take measures to slow her down. Jay hears Lina yell to him to do better. Danm, was she hard to please. Jay comes close as Zoey crosses her arms before her face to protect it.

Jay scoffed. He knew better than to attack the upper body. He falls to his knees and simultaneously slams a fist down on any part of her leg he could get. With the initial shock of the punch, Jay brabs her leg by the ankle and tries to extend her leg out as much as possible and as forcefully as possible to start slamming fist after fist into her leg.
