Alias: Blade Uehara, The Okinawan Eagle, The Aerial Artist, Em Sando.
Sex: F
Age:  28

Hair: Gunmetal Grey
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 122
Nationality: Okinawa, Japan
Alignment : Neutral Good

================================[Combat Information]===============================

Entrance Music - All Around The Stars

Strategy and Style – A veteran high-flyer who feels more comfortable taking to the air than throwing down with fisticuffs any day. Blade also shies away from attempting more high impact power moves, which is a wise move considering her nimble and agile frame leads to her being the one chucked around instead of her opponents. Her high risk, high reward style of acrobatics pays off by keeping her foes on their toes in fear of being nailed with a devastating maneuver before they can see it coming, but enough mistakes on Blades end from failed maneuvers can have her reeling just as fast if she’s not careful. To make up for that blaring weakness in her fighting style, Blade knows her fair share of impactful strikes and complex pins as well.

Preferred Matches – Standard, Hardcore, FCA, Cage.

Favored Moves : Moonsaults, Frankensteiners, Corkscrew elbow drop, Dragon Suplex, La Magistral, Small Package Pin, Matchbook pin, Suicide Dive, Cannonball Senton, Diving Bulldog, Armbar takedown, Ankle lock, Kimura lock, Split Legged Moonsault, Phoenix Splash, Meteora, Shooting Star Press, Russian Leg Sweep.

Signature Moves :
1) Down Time – With her opponent hunched over and situated headfirst facing the ring ropes, Blade will spring up and over the ropes to pounce upon them from behind and continue her twirling momentum into springboard code red and attempted pin right afterward.

Spoiler:

2) Sling Blade - When Blade has been beaten down and on the defensive for the majority of the match, if she’s sent to the ropes she will return with a spinning sit out sleeper slam. The adrenaline pumping in her veins giving her the extra power behind it to knock most anyone on their ass.

Spoiler:

3) Blade-arana - Blade will bounce off the ropes while twisting her body to the side as she constricts her thighs around her opponent's head for a reverse hurricanrana that takes them on a continuous spin cycle until mercifully being released into a diving header towards the nearest turnbuckle.
Spoiler:

4) Moonwalk DDT - Upon hooking her opponent into a snug front headlock, Blade will pay a quick homage to the King Of Pop in some slick backwards moonwalking before getting back to the business of implanting her opponent's cranium into the canvas below.

Spoiler:

Finishing Moves :
1) Poisoned Blade-rana – A nimble bit of devilry performed on an opponent from outside of the ring with Blade leaping atop their shoulders, and kipping them both backward to hammer the crown of their cranium into the canvas in a poisonrana. An audience popping crowd-pleaser that is a certified match-winner that comes from out of nowhere, requires little to no set-up, and can seamlessly be transitioned into a pin immediately afterward.

Spoiler:

2) Blade's Edge – Blade’s trademark finisher whose claim to fame is that no one has yet to break out of a pin following this maneuver. With her opponent laid out near the corner turnbuckle, Blade will take to the air and perform twisting backflip for her corkscrew shooting star press. An all or nothing maneuver that either guarantees a sweet victory upon connection, or nails in a miserable loss if it’s countered in any way.

Spoiler:

3) Terminal Velocity - A finisher move she made up on the spot one night and has since honed to perfection during her time abroad. With an opponent slumped over and in a fatigued state in the corner, Blade will maneuver herself around and behind them into a seated position onto the top turnbuckle. By catapulting herself forward after applying a dragon sleeper Blade attempts to go whirling through the air into a jawbreaking seated cutter. Sometimes capable of being sprung on adversaries without a corner turnbuckle at all.

Variation 1:
Variation 2:

4) Altitude Adjustment - Sometimes taking to the air by herself just isn't enough, and when that happens Blade is prepared to offer her adversary a friendly escort into her high elevation world. The Okinawan goes about dragging a fatigued opponent over towards one of the corner turnbuckles and hauls them up one step at a time until they're both perched upon it's summit. After hooking one of their arms over her neck and clasping onto their waist, Blade hoists them upward while spinning in place to perform a devastating aerial falcon arrow.

Spoiler:

Critical Finishing Moves:
1) Air Cutter - A new maneuver Blade had been practicing in secret once she got word she might be making a comeback. With her opponent in the ring and wearily standing back up, Blade will step onto the ring apron and clench onto the top rope before catapulting herself upward to briefly balance on top of it. The aerial artist demonstrating how she earned that nickname by than taking to the air while rearing her am back to clock her opponent upside her head with a high flying and hard hitting springboard forearm smash.

Personality: A brash and over-confident tom-boy who never shies away from a good rumble. Blade has a die-hard spirit in the face of adversity, which is something she’s fostered from having life beat her down a few times growing up. It’s made her reflexively be on the defensive when talking with others and always willing to stand up to people who think their better than anyone else. Except her gruff persona is mainly used to hide the innate inferiority complex she inwardly fosters, always wondering herself if she’s as good as her fellow competitors, in the ring and out. It’s a nagging thought that is the primary drive behind her competitive spirit, and a side to her that only her best of friends know of.

Past/History: Being raised by a single father who just so happened to be the foreman at a construction site meant that Kyouko Uehara would know several things growing up. The sense of accomplishment and self-worth from a hard days work…and how to kick back and be one of the guys. Kyoukos father would have weekly Poker nights at his house with his work buddies invited, where rowdy beer drinking and booming laughter were Kyoukos lullaby’s going to sleep as a child. At least before she started getting old enough to stay up late join in on the fun herself.

Eventually Kyouko started coming home from middle school with more scrapped knees and black eyes than decent grades. She didn’t quite find an outlet for her rambunctious mischief until she picked up on professional wrestling at an early age and found herself to be a natural talent for it. What started as a hobby ended up becoming her obsession, to the point where she was signed up for Wrestle Angels straight out of high school as a sought after rookie with tons of hidden potential. Her star shined bright in that league, even generating an impressive tag title reign with former rival Panther Risako. At least before Panther started costing them matches due to her own personal baggage, frustrating Blade to no end until she eventually ended their partnership, and consequently, their friendship. Blade choosing to replace Panther with her close friend Bomber Kishima to form the equally successful "Blade Runners~..."

While Kyouko’s career in Wrestle Angel would end up being one of the more successful in the league, there would always be those who regarded her as just below the high ranking and so-called “elite” superstars of the league. Primarily because stars such as Mighty Yukiko, Toshimi Minami, and Chris Morgan all had memorable main championship title runs…wherein Blade has had exactly zero. She always had her dedicated fan base, but that stain on her career of always being one match away from true greatness was an irritating stigma Blade barely managed to find peace with.

Until the stuck up, selfish, and narcisstic Beauty Ichigaya poked and prodded her about that uncomfortable truth in between her usual condescending and self-worshipping speeches. Blade stood her ground and put up with Beauty for as long as she could before finally challenging the pompous windbag to a Loser Leaves Town match. Blade put everything on the line in the hopes of shutting Beauty up and freeing Wrestle Angel of the haughty blonde’s tyranny…only for life not to go quite as she had planned. Beauty demonstrating why she was considered one of the strongest in the league, even with all her bloviating. It was Match Of The Year worthy, but Beauty’s overwhelming power led to one too many powerbombs, and Blade being pinned for the three count as a result.

As distraught as she was to lose everything to Ichigaya, Blade honored the stipulations of her bone-headed challenge and walked away from her Wrestle Angel career and Japan itself…only for the dynamic Em Sando to reappear soon afterwards!! Blade taking up the masked persona to technically still adhere to her own stipulations but still wrestle abroad and particularly in Mexico. Blade loved the sport too much to give it up just yet, freely admitting it was one of the only things she thought she was great at. She even started up her own indy promotion called Pacific Ocean Women's Pro Wrestling, but Blade was no businesswoman by any stretch of the imagination, and the group eventually folded, leaving Blade as a free agent once more. Though soon afterwards, Wrestle Angel folded as well…and in her own mind, freed her of her restricted obligations to never compete in Japan again. The exact wording of the contract was murky at best, but Blade was too eager for a second chance at achieving greatness to be denied again.

Fun Facts:
1) Blade is exceptionally self-conscious about both her height, and her bushy eyebrows, having inherited them from her equally hairy eye-browed father. She is sorely tempted into trimming them down, but is genuinely terrified of them only growing back…and thicker.

2) Blade’s alternate wrestling persona was named Em Sando, whose secret identity was kept a secret far longer than Blade thought it would last.
Spoiler:

3) People have taken to exclusively calling her "Blade" backstage all the time instead of her actual name. It was awkward as hell for her being called something she made up on the fly and having it basically replace her real name. But she has since embraced it since she didn't have much choice on the matter. Only her closest of friends now referring to her as Kyouko anymore.

4) Blade is huge fan of the Mad Max movies, her friends even teasing her by saying she looks like she would fit right in within the dystopian wasteland.

5)If Blade was a Pokemon, she would be...
