Chisato Sakurai vs Blade Uehara

It was a long while since Chisato had been in the ring, a hiatus away did wonders for her refocusing. But she was still haunted by the lack of success that was the result of her labor. Plenty of fans wrote her off as a waste of time and suspended in limbo with no chance of rising. Normally such words wouldn’t bother Chisato but times were different and she wasn’t going to settle for anything other than a win.

Her music began to play as she marched out of the entrance way, everyone could see that she was a woman on a mission as she paid little to no attention to the crowd, a little bit less than usual as she got into the ring, sliding underneath the ropes as she quickly popped back up. Her eyes turned towards the ramp way as she paced back and forward across the ring, anxious to start the match!

Blade certainly didn't remember it being quite this difficult to climb up the promotional ladder of her old wrestling federation. A fact she could hopefully attribute to AFW simply being comprised of a particularly talented roster and not attribute to all her years in the business beginning to catch up to her. She'd been fervently scratching and clawing her way back into wrestling relevance ever since her re-debut, and it's only just now that she's been making major headway in once again establishing herself as a marquee player in the game. Increased merchandise sales and fan reactions being how the higher-ups gauged that, but she knew had to keep the riding that momentum higher on up the food chain unless she wanted to be relegated to house shows and PPV-preshows...again.

Making her entrance to a substantially louder bit of cheering fanfare, Blade came sauntering out from behind the curtain to her rocking theme music and appreciative pop from the masses around them. A limber spring to her step as she jaunted down the ramp, showcasing her nimble fluidity and rambunctious energy as she came down to the ring. Firstly scampering up the steel steps before climbing the turnbuckle from behind, one foot placed on the top turnbuckle as she seemingly scanned around the arena with a hand above her eyes as if she were a pirate searching treasure island. Eventually she found her booty in the form of her green-haired adversary across the ring, Blade reacting with a bit of fabricated astonishment at having found her prize and fake discovering who her opponent would be before jumping down and waltzing over towards Chisato. "And now there's you~...Where the hell've you been all this time? Spend any more time in the mid-card and you may as well pitch a tent, call it home...sheesh." Blade derided with a scowl, arms crossed in front of her chest.

Chisato’s eyes narrowed as she saw who was her opponent. Although there was a sense of familiarity with seeing a former Angel, Chisato was not pleased with Blade’s antics. Her nerves were already on high from the stress of succeeding and watching her flail about to hype the crowd was just aggravating her with the delay of the match.

Their eyes locked and Chisato wasn’t turning away with all of her harsh intensity. She did not particularly take well to the comments as her eyes narrowed with such a sharp jab as she would walk right up into Blade, going nose to nose with her.

“You have one chance to take those thoughtless words back.”

Blade's pre-match antics fairly accurately represented just what she'd thought of Chisato being nowhere to be seen when it came to the title scene and main event matches in the federation. Which all baffled the Okinawan considering that Chisato was no slouch in Wrestle Angels, where the girl was perpetually driven to get better in the ring and had gotten pretty high in the tier rankings before the company went belly up. But she also had a prickly demeanor and easily pushed buttons, and Blade was anyone if not a master at finding all the right ones to get on people's nerves. Evident by how Chisa had gotten all up in her grill just now.

"Why don't you MAKE me, Green? Might finally get the spotlight shining on you for something other than you sucking ass and losing to Cecilia Northman..." Blade scowled back now nose-to-nose and mashing foreheads together, not backing down own iota and instead being well motivated to lodge her foot upside Chisato rear end. At least before the timid referee kinda wedged herself between them to force a separation, the Aerial Artist backpedaling a few steps and pacing left and right near her corner turnbuckle like a caged animal ready to be set loose by the ringing of the bell.

Chisato thought that if not getting Blade to shut up and take back her words, she would at least stop her from saying more. However when her past with Cecilia Northman came up and the humiliating defeats that forced her out of the light for a long while trying to recover her mental state after such a brutal beating, Chisato’s look went cold.

Cold and furious.

Even as Blade backed off, Chisato stood in the center of the ring, those words sticking into her head and swirling around like a violent whirl pool almost too much for Chisato to contain. She would finally stomp back towards her corner, never turning from Blade and never breaking focus as she felt her back hit against the corner, seething in it as she waited for the bell to ring.

And at that second, she would sprint out of the corner and attempted to nail Blade in the chest with a running drop kick backed with all of her anger.

Yeah, Yeah...Blade was somewhat familiar with Chisato's checkered past with Cecilia Northman, who'd seem to be someone quite adept at riling up this green-haired sadist before essentially wiping the floor with her. Big deal. You stick around in this business long enough you're practically guaranteed to nurture a nemesis or two. Hell, Blade had earned three bonafide sworn enemies by the time she'd bid adios to Wrestle Angels way back when. No need for Chisato get all bent outta shape about it.

And Blade had no intention of even bringing up Cecilia until Chisato started laying into her with all that threatening smack talk. The Okinawan eyeing Chisato from afar with competitive determination in her steely eyes and a tugging down of her gloves, expecting a lot of things from the fabled wrestler across from her. But none of them were Chisato dashing straight towards and nailing her right in her tits with a dropkick that had her barreling backward until she'd stumbled back into her corner with a thud, legs kicking up before slumping down along with the rest of the winded Okinawan.

Motivated by an even stronger urge to put her once fellow Wrestle Angel into the mat, Chisato burst across the ring as she planted both of her feet into Blade’s chest, sending her crashing back into the turnbuckles behind her as Chisato landed on the mat. Quickly she scrambled up to her feet to continue the onslaught as rage pushed her on.

Charging once again at Blade, Chisato would leave her feet again as her opponent was trapped in the corner, rising up to come crashing down onto her opponent as she twisted her body to the right, loading up all of her weight into her right forearm as she threw all of it down at Blade’s face!

Blade didn't know what this lady's deal was, but it certainly was a unique experience facing off with someone who may have had a shorter temper than the Aerial Artist herself. She didn't see that spite-fueled dropkick coming, which led to her currently being huddled over against the corner turnbuckle after getting Chisato's boots implanted into her boobs. But she did see the green-haired nymph's next attack coming as she peeked up with a wincing grimace. Blade timed it as best she could, and once Chisato's feet left the ring canvas, the Okinawan would sprint towards her and jump into the air. Her hands clamped behind her foe's head and knees inward for a dynamic double knee facebreaker.

Chisato barreled across the ring like a bat out of hell as she crashed into Blade's chest, shooting the Okinawan back into the corner with force. Landing on her stomach and immediately rising to her feet, Chisato wasn't going to let up with a single hit as she sprinted back towards her corner, twisting around to slam back into the turnbuckles before springing off of it to race at Blade again, looking to gain as much momentum and speed as she could to continue her fast paced assault.

However, her opponent was more resilient for that to work as Blade came shooting out of the corner herself, jumping up and catch Chisato's head as the knees came up, pressed against her face as mass and gravity's laws took over as Blade fell to the mat, pulling Chisato with her as she was impaled face first on the knees. Growling out in pain, Chisato's head snapped off of Blade's knees as she flipped over her opponent with all of her momentum still going forward as she landed on her back!

Blade still didn't couldn't comprehend what the flying fornication Chisato's deal was, but the reason why was beginning to matter less and less once it was becoming patently obvious she'd had a bonafide fight on her hands. No commiserating handshakes or friendly pats on the back were going to be exchanged after all was said and done tonight. Which all suited Blade just fine and dandy...it only fired her up all the more as she launched herself forward for a mid-air counter with impeccable timing and slamming momentum that had the green-haired W.A. flopping overhead behind the Okinawan.

"I dunno what your friggin problem is, but you'd best step correct next time, you hear me??!!" Blade barked down at a leveled Chisato with her index finger pointed right in her stupid face after standing back up and turning around to look down at her. But once she'd felt Chisato had gotten the thuggish message, she'd clench her gloved hands into that emerald hair of hers to escort her upward before snapping on a front headlock. After raising an arm to the sky, Blade would have a little fun at Chisato's expense by waltzing backwards for some fancy dance moves, smirking arrogantly before attempting to drive her adversary's skull into the canvas in her Moonwalk DDT.
