Full Squared Circle

Alaina gasped and felt the wave of relief wash over her arms, as well as the rest of her. She turned and looked at Valley, doing her best to smile given her current state of feeling tired. "Thanks... you pack way more punch than I remember too." Alaina said, staying still for a second.

Alaina knew the time for talk had passed again, moving in now to try to work her way close enough to Valley to grab on to the woman! Easier said than done, but Alaina knew she had to avoid getting kicked around. Alaina went for something simple to try to keep recovering, figuring that a front headlock was a good way to get to keep Valley in one place.

Up Alaina came, moving forward as surely as ever. Valley had to give her credit for being able to move forward like that. Whether she realized it or not, it was a big part of what made her such an impressive opponent. Seeing someone with that size and strength surging towards you could put the brakes on a lot of offense, right out of the gate.

That was the case here, as it turned out. Alaina moved in swiftly, and Valley started to backpeddle, but couldn’t move fast enough to clear. She was swept up in the headlock, caught in the tight vise, and the best thing she could do as the moment was to spread her legs wide and maintain a solid base, ensuring her foe would have to work damned hard for whatever she was going for.

Alaina felt Valley widen her legs, dropping down a bit. That was a pain to work with, and would not do at all. Alaina took a second to think, and decided that taking away Valley's legs would be for the best. For her anyway. Alaina groaned as she rolled to her side, trying to deliver a toss to Valley to send her to the mat all while Alaina kept the headlock secure!

Not the flashiest offense but it still kept the speedy Valley immobilized for the time. That was good enough for the amazon.

After the headlock came the headlock takedown, with Alaina flipping Valley Doll over. Simple move, yes, but when you factored in that Amazonian strength, the results were plain. The Slamazon hit hard, stunned for a moment after impact before her shoulders reflexively shot off the mat.

Alaina had the superior position, but that hardly meant Valley didn’t have options. When the sudden shock passed, she lifted up her lower body and whipped her legs up, trying to wrap them around the former champion’s head with a tight scissorhold, looking to immediately reverse the situation.

Alaina felt good about the situation as they hit the mat, but seconds later her air supply was cut off and Valley was the one in control! Damn long legs...

Alaina knew that this was bad. She struggled and thrashed to no avail then she recalled a counter she used before. It was a gamble and Valley likely wasn't going to sit still long enough for it to work, but if she saw what was potentially coming at the very least she would let go or so Alaina hoped.

With a wheeze and groan Alaina tried to get her legs underneath her, grabbing hold of Valley and lifting! Her face was beat red as she hauled Valley up, trying to lift and put the woman in position for a power bomb! It wasn't going to be an amabomb but the makeshift power bomb would still pack a punch unless Valley released the hold or did something to alter the course of the amazon!

There was a time when Valley could’ve boasted having, perhaps, the strongest legs in the AFW, but those days had passed. There were others now, and for whatever reasons, scissorholds were becoming more and more commonplace.

But just because her thighs were sliding down the ranks didn’t mean they were powerless. They still had enough strength to clamp down on Alaina’s throat, to close in, and to choke the life out of her.

Valley didn’t think it would work forever, but she expected to get some damage going with it, bare minimum. And, to be fair, she was making some headway - that was, until Alaina hulked up, lifted her into the air, and dropped her down hard on her back. That slowed Valley down a bit.

The Slamazon gasped as the wind was knocked clean out of her, and her legs immediately uncoiled from Alaina’s neck, leaving her flat on the floor as she writhed about.

Alaina laid half on the mat, half on Valley feeling very light headed. The world spun as she regained her ability to draw air into her lungs. After a moment she realized where she was, and that her show of power, a show that admittedly sapped herself of energy, worked Alaina laid across Valley's chest.

"One...."

Alaina started the count, and it was much less energetic than previous counts due to the fact that she was worn out. While she was loathe to admit it, if Valley kicked out here Alaina would be struggling to get up to her feet before Valley, and would immediately be in a horrible position when the two reset to go at it again.

Valley was hurting, flat on the mat, wanting to take something of a rest, but it turned out she wouldn’t have that luxury. Alaina rather smartly moved in for the kill in quick fashion, dropping down on the Slamazon and forcing a solid pin, barely giving her a second of recovery time.

Good move. Didn’t make it any less annoying.

Valley waited until just after the second count to raise her shoulder up, saving herself with a weak thrust. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to save herself. For now. How long she’d be able to keep doing that was up for debate.

Alaina felt Valley thrust her shoulder up and gasped. She was still trying to recover herself after nearly passing out. The amazon stumbled up to her feet but fell forward, reaching out to the ropes to help her stabilize herself.

Alaina needed all the help she could get to stand up straight as she still felt light headed.

After the kickout, Valley was expecting Alaina to restart her assault, go right back to caving her skull in with those devastating power moves. When that didn’t happen, she was understandable confused. Happy, yes, but confused.

For a moment, she thought that Alaina was holding back on her, but a quick glance revealed that wasn’t the case at all. The Amazon was reeling, suffering more from the scissorhold than Valley anticipated, and there was an opening right before her, just begging to be seized. Would be a shame to let it go to waste.

Despite her body’s fervent protests, Valley rolled over and pushed her way up to her knees, then to a foot, then to another, clumsily rising behind Alaina. With a good base settled, Valley moved in again and shot her leg out, targeting the same spot she’d gone for a couple of minutes with another fierce kick, hammering it with surgical precision.
