Li-Mei vs. Melody Serperior - Leafs and Roses

It was no secret that Li-Mei was someone that would love to play with her opponents during battle, toying with them. The figure four headlock was one instance of it, just allowing Melody to get to the ropes, although making it a tad difficult for her to do so. It was all fun, and she relished in the sense of control as she kept her trapped and toyed with the greenette. But most of her opponents will know how she can easily finish the match if she wanted to.

That being said, her battle habit would come back to bite her in the ass, not finishing your opponent meant that they could capitalize on this.

Especially as Melody would come in towards Li-Mei, albeit hesitant on closing the distance between the two. Li-Mei settled back into her stance, waiting to see what the Briton will do.

Soon she saw it, Melody swinging her fist out with a hook that had the Oriental Rose leaned back her upper body, her eyes widened, twisting her head just to avoid it. Narrowly, just an inch before the Chinese woman would backpedal just to get away from her.

Her fist whiffed just a centimeter away from her intended target. Sensing danger, Li-Mei would step away from Melody, to avoid a possible follow up from the greenette...

...unluckily for her, Melody saw this as a perfect opportunity for a powerful attack!

Stepping towards her foe, Melody would hop forward to close the distance, landing on her left leg. Her right would, instead, launch itself straight at the Chinese Woman's face for a hard-hitting Super Kick!

Narrowly just evading the punch, Li-Mei intended to escape from the greenette. It was indeed a close call and a punch like that could have been nasty. Though as she stepped away, Li-Mei would soon find an attack coming at her that she didn’t expect to see.

Melody chased after her, seemingly wanting to put more pressure on the Oriental Rose and launch a straight up super kick towards the Chinese woman. The hook would probably hurt had that connected but this kick is more devastating!

“Guhhh!” Taking it square in the face, her head snapping back as she fell on her back, finding herself on the floor once again. Groaning in pain as she writhes on the floor.

There was a certain beat of satisfaction Melody got every time one of her Super Kicks connected with her opponents' jaws. Her opponent's reactions and their fall down, the crowd's "Ohing"...this was what made that one of Greenette's most favorite moves.

With Li-Mei down and out on the mat for seemingly a little while, Melody knew that the best idea would be to rack up as much damage as she could on the Chinese woman before she fully recovered from the daze from the Super Kick.

Rushing towards the ropes for a rebound, running back towards the Oriental Rose, before jumping once there was a good meter of distance between her and the downed woman, as she looked to crash with her momentum onto Li-Mei elbow first for a hard Elbow Drop!
