Of Angels and Amazons

Emily's plan worked perfectly, using Alaina's momentum and her heavier weight against her to flip her down hard to the mat. "Aw, thank you fer the compliment, luv," Emily teased, before running across the ring to bounce off the ropes. The moment the Scotswoman came bouncing back, she would try to nail Alaina with a hard drop kick as she tried to stand back up!

Alaina heard the footsteps scurrying along as soon as she rose to her feet. Alaina looked up just in time to see Emily running her way! Alaina saw the jump and moved to the side dodging the dropkick! Alaina waved her finger in the air as she swung her leg around to try to plant Emily in the chest with a soccer kick! "Almost! But how about this instead!?"

Alaina was fast-- faster than Emily had expected for a woman of her size. As Alaina dodged the drop kick, Emily spun around to face her-- just in time to have Alaina's boots hammer into her generous rack. She grunted from the impact and was sent rolling away, breathing hard as she tried to put some distance between herself and the Amazon.

Alaina knew Emily would spring back in to action soon, so she had to hustle to stay on top of her. The amazon moved in reaching out to grab hold of Emily. Pulling her close Alaina tried to soften her up with a couple hard knee strikes before lifting her high for a vertical suplex! Alaina was trying to get as much impact as possible with the landing, hoping to try to slow the spunky woman down!

As Emily rolled on the mat, Alaina quickly came stomping after her. Knowing that she had to recover, and fast, Emily nonetheless felt herself being hauled upright by the Amazon, her opponent no doubt getting ready for some sort of heavy move. The moment she was pulled upright, however, Emily would be swinging, aiming to shoot an elbow up into Alaina's face or chest to catch her by surprise! If she managed that, then she would lunge, hoping to catch the Amazon with a close-ranged clothesline!

Alaina was not ready for Emily to spring back to life and the elbow caught her right in the eye! Alaina groaned and reared her head back clearly hobbling after the hard strike.

Things only got worse as Emily kept it up, hammering Alaina with a big clothesline and sending her crashing to the mat! Alaina moaned and kicked ttee he mat, sitting up and leaning forward as she rubbed her chest with one hand, using her other to keep her propped up in a sitting position.

A tremor went up Emily's arm as her clothesline collided with the Amazon, taking her to the mat. Emily wasn't down for long, and within seconds, she was sitting upright again. Brushing her hair back, Emily knew that she had to maintain the pressure on the bigger woman and keep her on the defensive.

With this in mind, Emily raced towards the ropes, bouncing off of them, before rebounding, aiming a drop kick at Alaina's explosed back. Right now, Alaina was presenting herself as a target, and Emily intended to take advantage of that.

"Arrrgghhh!" Alaina groaned through her grit teeth as she arched her back after Emily's dropkick connected before falling flat onto her back on the mat. Alaina writhed and rolled over onto her stomach, getting to her hands and knees as she tried to push herself up off the mat. Her torso was hurting but she knew she couldn't just roll over and get tossed around the way she did against Panther. She had to be tougher, she had to be better than that.

Unfortunately for Alaina the rise to her feet was slower going than she would have liked!

It wasn't for nothing that Emily had gone through the hell of Wrestle Angels and back, getting battered, slammed and tossed around by other powerful women, and learning to dish out the same, before coming here to AFW. Yes, Alaina was big and tough...but then, Emily had fought bigger and tougher girls than her before, and she was determined, if nothing else, to make a lasting impression on the Amazon.

As Alaina was getting up to her hands and knees, Emily would stride over to her to grab her by her head to help her to her feet...only to twist around, aiming to snapmare her down to the mat! The moment she managed that, she would hoist her into a sitting position and try to snare her arms around the other woman's arm and throat in a rear naked sleeper!

"Ungh...Oomph!" Alaina groaned as she was grabbed then snapmared to the ground! She was in a sitting position when she felt Emily wrapping her arms around her throat trying to choke her out! Alaina's face reddened as hard air supply was being cut off, leaving the amazon already desperate this early in the match as her struggles against former Wrestle Angels continued! She reached up at Emily's arms and let out a choked ragged war cry, trying to use her strength to outright power her way out, trying to pry Emilys arms off of her to free herself from this effective hold!
