Of Angels and Amazons

Emily's back was throbbing now after what she had to admit was an impressive suplex from Peggy. The statueqsue Scotswoman wasn't going to lie, she hadn't thought Peggy had the strength in her to pull off something like that. As it was, she was now lying moaning on her back, while Peggy was hooking one of her legs, covering her neatly for the pin.

"TWO!"

Just as soon as the count reached two, Emily twisted her body, getting a shoulder up, before shoving back with her arm, trying to force Peggy off of her as she rolled away...

Peggy felt Emily kick out and she was groaning, disappointed that the match hadn't just ended. Peggy got up to her feet and pulled Emily up by the arm with her trying to send her running to the ropes with an Irish whip! Peggy made progress to move towards Emily, waiting for Emily to come running. Peggy wanted to leap up into the air to wrap her legs around Emily's head and lean back to hurricanrana her down to the mat!

Emily was glad that she had managed to break the pinfall, and more grateful still that she had managed to get a breather after being slammed so forcefully by Peggy like that. The Scotswoman had a feeling that her respite wouldn't last, however, and she was soon proven absolutely right: Peggy was suddenly grabbing her by the arm, pulling the taller Emily to her feet and whipping her towards the ropes.

Emily's head was still ringing from that suplex, so she was unable to react in time as Peggy leapt at her, wrapping her legs around her head. And then gravity kicked in, and Emily was flung head over heels, crashing down again onto her already sore back. She cried out from the impact, arching up slightly as she clutched her back, eyes screwed up in pain, and above all, knowing, with annoyance, that Peggy was kicking her ass.

Peggy was soaring right now and she looked back at Alaina nodding to her. Peggy sent Emily to the mat and was running towards the corner leaping up onto the top rope facing away from Emily. She turned around to look back at her to make sure she was in the same spot before leaping into the air with a flying moonsault! Peggy was looking to come crashing down on top of Emily to go for the pin!

On the apron Alaina was waiting and as soon as the moonsault successfully hit the amazon would climb through the ropes and bolt towards Risako. If she was going to interrupt the pin Alaina would stop her.... and if Emily missed then Alaina would stay put on the apron and reach out to try to get herself tagged back into the match!

From where she was recuperating outside the ring, Risako's eyes narrowed as she saw Alaina enter. Not wanting the Amazon to be double-teaming her Scottish teammate, Risako leapt into the ring to meet Alaina's charge. For the second time, the Queen of Queens and the Amazon ran at each other in the ring, with Risako trying to nail Alaina with a drop kick to the face.

All the while, the ref was distracted from Peggy, who came down hard on the reeling Emily. The voluptuous Scotswoman's body jerked as Peggy slammed into her, lay motionless as her leg was hooked...

Peggy secured the pin, nodding along with he count as the fans echoed it aloud. She figured there was no way Emily was going to kick out of this!

"ONE!"

Alaina however rushed at Risako straightaway to keep her from interfering but Risako slipped through the ropes and jumped up to dropkick Alaina before the amazon could do anything! Alaina hit the mat, in disbelief that Risako was able to respond so quickly and feeling disappointment in her inability to make certain that Risako wasn't going to break the pin.

Truth to be told, Risako was still hurting from her earlier treatment by Alaina in the ring, and as she dropped down to the ring, she began to slowly and painfully get back up to her hands and knees-- that drop kick had taken more out of her than she had thought. At this point, the ref was yelling at them to get out of the ring, and Risako begrudgingly obliged, hoping that Alaina would at least do the same.

With that, the ref continued her countdown. The count reached "TWO!" before Emily kicked out, twisting a shoulder up off the mat and breaking the pinfall. Emily was down, but not out yet.

Peggy was in shock that Emily kicked out, so wrapped up in the fact that the match was still going that her tunnel vision prevented her from even recognizing Risako and Alaina each rolling out of the ring. Admittedly Alaina's roll was slower as the dropkick left her dazed and the amazon flopped to the ground below leaving Peggy all on her own for the time being.

Peggy got up and pulled Emily up by the arm before trying to smash her abdomen with a knee strike to double her over. Peggy was going to try to jump up and wrap her legs around Emily's head to send her falling to the mat with a hurricanrana to keep her momentum going. With Risako in her corner and Alaina still laying outside the ring Peggy knew she couldn't afford any mistakes.

Emily was breathing hard as she twisted upright, barely managing to do so in time. In their last match, Peggy hadn't hammered her nearly this hard: she believed the other girl when she said that she was here to get even, she was fighting like a woman who had vengeance on her mind.

Feeling her arm grabbed, Emily was yanked up just in time to recieve a brutal knee to her abdomen. Doubling over and gasping for breath, Emily was easy prey for Peggy's next move as the other girl's fit legs wrapped around her head. A second later, Emily was flipped head over heels by her lighter foe and sent crashing onto her back, gasping liked a beached fish as her generous bosom rose and fell with each breath.

Peggy saw that Alaina wasn't in her corner and she wanted to leap down to flatten Emily with more high flying offense. Risako was in her corner and the last thing Peggy wanted was to have her interfere. Peggy bolted towards Risako looking to crash into her with a clothesline! "If Alaina ain't in her corner you don't get to be in yours!" Peggy howled as she tried to connect to Risako clearing things out to allow her to climb that turnbuckle without any sort of interference.
