Nekketsu Championship Tournament: Round 1: Edward Sealgair vs Junsu Nham

Edward took a tumble with the stiff elbow shot to the face, the K-pop star was sure he landed a solid strike simply based on the hard sting he felt in his own elbow. That was the feeling of hitting something hard, hitting a skull. It was gratifying to sent the blond fob flopping. Rolling over onto his side, a creeping grin worked its way across his lips. He couldn't help but check at the smear crimson splotches in his face, even as he trudged over and grabbed hold of Junsu's arm. Hoisted to his feet, he yanked the grasped limb free just as the referee stepped in, imposing herself between the two of them. An impromptu medical examination. While it was very plausible she had just saved him a beating, it didn't make him any less annoyed.

It left him in an interesting position with the official's back turned to him, watching her full over the blond blunderer. Sure, he was bleeding, but Junsu had just been through the wringer. Where was her concern for him? With a soft snort, he took a few measured steps back, shifting himself to get a good angle between the two of them. Leaning forward into a run, moving up right between the both of them to boot Edward square between the legs with a low blow while the referee had her eyes fully trained on the blond boy's forehead. He held a hand out to catch the other wrestler by the shoulder to keep him upright, casually combing his hand through his glorious green locks to fix his hair while his opponent suffered.

"Looks like the cut ran real deep, huh?" The idol snarkily commented through his teeth, giving the crowd a big smile as he looked to take control, posing for the crowd to snap photos with their phone. Stepping in, he shouldered past the still hovering official, out of his way as he yanked Edward's head under his arm. With a snappy twist of their bodies, he spun about until they were back to back, dropping them both down onto the mat with his signature "Upside Down" spinning neckbreaker! Rolling over he moved to cover the Celtic warrior again, grinding his forearm across the other boy's bleeding forehead to pin his head sideways to the mat and hooked a leg. "Count it!"

Ed groaned, the ref girl insisting that it was her job to inspect cuts and make sure they weren't too bad or causing him to be unable to see properly. Given that a verdict of him being in bad condition would literally cost him the match and eliminate him from the tournament, Edward was not exactly being cooperative. "Look, lass, I get it's your job and all, but I'm fine, I don't need any-GUH!"


Edward was cut off in his angry ranting however, as a sharp, well designed fancy lady shoe suddenly skipped up between his legs, jamming its pointy toe directly into his soft and tender balls, crushing them and his shaft in one go, with a kick that, coming from a pop singer, would put a soccer player to shame.

Edward's eyes widened, mouth gaping open, spittle flying from it as he let out a wordless, high pitched, choked gasp, tears starting to form in the corner of his eyes as he fell forward past the surprised referee girl...only to be caught by Junsu, who blocked the confused referee from realizing just what he had done. The crowd, who might have spoken in Ed's defense, instead pulled their camera's out as he smiled and posed with the scottish teens body.

Poor Edward had no defense, the sheer agony in his nether regions preventing him from so much as getting a gasp of protest out...until he was slammed to the mat with a rough neckbreaker, laying flat and groaning as he was pinned, the ref girl just shrugging before dropping to her knees and raising her arm up. After all, if Edward was pinned, the blood wouldn't matter, would it?

"ONE!" she cried, the entire audience counting with her.

"TWO!" she yelled again, hand slapping down on the mat, the crowd now on the edge of their seats, about to see this mainstream idol, their pop hero, gain his first ever wrestling victory as the ref girls hand came down towards the mat...

and never hit it, as to the utter shock, (and disapproval) of the audience, Edward just barely threw his shoulder up to break the pin count, denying Junsu of his ill-gained victory!

“하나…”

“두.”

Junsu held his head high, quietly counting another with the referee, making sure his fans in the audience had a food shot of him winning his first match. It was a shame he was a bit disheveled, but that was fine. They liked the rugged slightly scuffed up look, photo shoots and post apocalyptic music video shoots were evidence enough of that. Then his impudent opponent had the utter nerve to throw a shoulder up, breaking the count.

“바보 소녀! 세 카운트였습니다!” Junsu hissed at the referee in a venomous tone, shoving three fingers out in her direction. She shook her head, motioning for two then held them up for the official calling. With a growl, the Korean pop star pushed himself up off Edward, reaching a hand behind his head to grab hold of his ponytail. With a gloved hand on his shoulder and a hard grip on his hair, he dragged the Celtic wrestler up to his feet making sure to be as rough with him as possible.

“You think you’re going to win? That all this fighting is cute? It just makes you look pathetic.” Junsu jerked Edward’s head back over the protesting counts of the referee for hair pulling, wanting to make sure the other man was able to catch his eyes just to see how serious he was about these claims. Once he had made his point, he gave the blond boy a hard shove, using his grip on his hair to spin him around so his back was facing Junsu. Stepping forward, the Korean pop star swung his elbow in low, trying to take a heavy elbow shot right at the aerial ace’s kidneys, going for as much damage as he could.

If Ed was being completely honest, there was a part of him that would not have minded if Junsu wanted to get I to his pants and take this match in a different direction.

That though....that was not at all what he had meant. What the hell had he done to piss this guy off anyway? He asked for an autograph, and questioned if it was smart to wear fancy expensive shoes in the ring, and for this he got punched in the neck and kicked in the balls.

Real nice guy this Junsu.

As if to prove the point, Junsu pulled Edward back to his feet, growling and taunting him, getting a low growl from the bare chested scotsman as pain flared in his scalp, until he was spun around and released...only for a stiff elbow to smash directly into his kidney.

"Agh! Son of...hell slap it!" He cried out, slipping deeper into his Scottish accent as he stumbled forward, needing to lean against the ropes, wincing. "Dammit...gonna whis red tonight..."

The heavy dull thud of his elbow smashing against his opponents raw midsection was something worthy of the faintest of smirks. Leaning back to stand upright and tall, he admired his handiwork as Edward hung from the ropes. Rew raw flesh, already looked as if it started to bruise… that would certainly slow the blond down if nothing else. Junsu swept his hands to the side in a flourished shrug, rolling his eyes to the cheering crowd, soaking in their admiration.

The korean pop star took a long stride forward, throwing his leg high enough to dig his heel in just between the other man’s shoulder blades in a display of his own flexibility. Leaning is weight forward, he extended his leg all the way to bear down on the celtic warrior, trying to choke him against the ropes. The referee was already on it though, sweeping up beside the two wrestlers, starting a count against the illegal move. It didn’t stop Junsu from milking it, giving several hard thrusts to bounce Edward up against the ropes with each count.

At the count of four though, she broke off, taking a hopping step back, arms raised in a clear sign he had done what was asked of him and let Edward go. He gave a soft breathy chuckle, all this physical aggression was starting to play on his stamina a bit. Exerting himself for long stretches wasn’t anything new. Singing and dancing on stage was taxing in its own right, but fighting was a brand new beast he was finding out.

Ed winced again on the ropes, rubbing his side. That kidney shot had hurt and the young man was starting to get quite frustrated with his opponent taking every advantage he could over him, it didn't matter how famous or attractive he was, Ed had to take this bastard down!

Unfortunately, as soon as he tried to step back away from the ropes, distracted by the pain in his kidney, he felt something smack him between his shoulder blades, a force that pushed him throat first onto the ropes and kept him in place, the blonde celtic fighters eyes bulging as he was held tight enough to be choked by the ropes!

Even with the referee doing her job and stepping in and starting the count, Ed still found himself bounced against the top rope, the rough rope pressing tightly against his throat and adams apple, blocking his airway, until finally she reached the count of 4 and Junsu backed away from Edward, letting the blonde finally move away from the ropes, dropping to one knee as he gasped and coughed, trying to regain his lost air!

Arching his back, the k-pop star let out a small groan at the tension in his muscles. This entire ordeal had been a bit more work than he had expected, especially for someone he felt was wholly unremarkable. With an annoyed huff, Junsu hooked a gloved finger into his collar, giving a few hard tugs to work his cravat loose enough to pull off completely, tossing it aside as he let his shirt hang open at the top buttons. He was hot, sweaty, and tired, totally unbecoming of his status as an icon of fashion and pop culture.

“Don’t touch that, 벙어리 소!” The referee after leaving Edward’s side, moved to pick up the discarded cloth accessory, simply doing her job to remove obstructions but drew his attention immediately. She had drawn his ire, paused in a half bend as he glared daggers at her. There was some obvious hesitancy before duty took over and she picked it up anyway and walked it back to Junsu’s corner against his protest. With a growl, he stewed, unable to really punish the official for her transgressions… the next best thing was the blond moppet in the ring with him.

With a smug sneer, Junsu took a few hopping steps back, bringing himself into the rope. With a heavy lean he built up some potential energy before springing off of them, taking to a brisk jog to close in on the recovering celtic warrior. With a head of steam and no shortage of malice, the k-pop stars thrust out his leg at the last moment, attempting to drill Edward in the back of the head with the hard heel of his designer boots.

On his knees, holding his throat after the absolutely blatant and illegal chokehold that Junsu had applied to him on the ropes, it seemed to those watching that things might just be said and done for the blonde, with the charging pop idol no doubt about to knock his blonde head right off his shoulders with his charging kick.

Except, as the pop idol charge closer, Edward, to the surprise of all watching, suddenly rolled forward to meet the charging singer, throwing one of his legs up to smash his booted heel into Junsu's chest with a surprise Koppu Kick!

The distance between the two wasn't much but while the nimble K-pop star covered it quickly his heavy breathing and the sluggish stride he was sporting were starting to show cracks in his stamina. While not one to openly admit his shortcomings, especially in the face of a rival, even he was aptly aware he was running out of steam. The game plan was to finish this match with a few more decisive strikes and wrap it in a nice little bow. He had an afterparty already booked at a local club, drinks bought, entertainment hired, the stage was set to celebrate. Edward had become an afterthought at this point, his involvement in these proceedings all but locked into the role of losing, pathetically.

So when the blond whipped around, flipping towards him he hadn't even considered what it meant until a boot caught him square in the chest. The impact was devastating, force magnified by Junsu's momentum as they came crashing together like a traffic accident. The heel of Edward's boot rakes across his chest, causing buttons of his silly shirt to violently pop and scatter about the ring, leaving a red hot friction burn across his bare chest. The K-pop star would be the one to crash and burn, toppling backward to the mat hard enough to temporarily vault him up onto his shoulder and compact his neck. His lithe form flopped back to the canvas in a heap, thoroughly laid out.

Handy move, the Koppu Kick, this was not the first time it had gotten Edward out of trouble, and he had no doubt that it wouldn't be the last either.

With the annoying cheating pop star down onto the mat, to the shock and screams of several of his louder female fans who had been cheering for him to kick the scottish teenagers head off, Edward, rubbing his throat, decided it was time to finish off this wannabe fighter and put him down for good!

Giving Junsu a hard stomp on the chest, just to make sure he stayed down, Edward grabbed his arm and leg, pulling him closer to the nearby turnbuckle, before turning and climbing the ropes until he was standing on the top turnbuckle, raising his arms up and taking a look at the sea of people around him, before leaping upwards into the air.

Immediately after the jump, he tucked his knees up to his chest and curled himself up while flipping forward, letting gravity carry his momentum as he rotated not only a full 360 degrees, but was to complete nearly another complete flip before landing, attempting to come crashing down on Junsu's stomach with a visually impressive 630 he called the Arshyre Comet!
