Carmen had to say, when she brought up her father to engage in a little light mid-fight banter, she didn’t expect to get this sort of diversion. Apparently, she’d stepped on a bit of a nerve, and now she was learning more about the Adachi family than she could have ever bargained for. Mako always seemed fairly well-adjusted, from what she’d seen of the woman. Rambunctious, sure. Horny, sure. But she wouldn’t have thought there was too much beyond that. But no - apparently she had more going on under the surface. Interesting.

It wouldn’t stop her from bending this woman in half, though, and wow, could she ever bend. Carmen hoped she still had this sort of flexibility when she reached Suzuki’s age, looking on as her muscles stretched and bent, giving her inch after inch. She was in pain, but still holding on, doing far better than most would have and making for an amazing show.

It wasn’t one that could last, however, as all this mental trauma seemed to have triggered a land mine. ”Hey, wait, what are you-”

Carmen tried to ride down her foe’s thrashing, but that was a wasted effort. Suzuki was strong, with a fiery explosive power, and that was more than enough for her to twist out of the hold. She was given a few elbows to the face for her troubles, and the blows knocked her off the older woman and sent her down on her side, dazed and groaning. She started to push her way up soon enough, but the dizziness made her clumsy.

Suzuki Adachi vs. Carmen Rodriguez - Blood in the Water - Page 3 Empty Re: Suzuki Adachi vs. Carmen Rodriguez - Blood in the Water

While Suzuki's incredible hate for Mako's father was a great source of willpower she could use to fight back against Carmen, what was really helping her was her flexibility. Even Carmen was impressed by how bendable Suzuki was. The secret to being this flexible? Sex. Ever since Mako had grown up, Suzuki found herself sleeping around a lot more. She was nowhere near her daughter's average for lays per week, but she had enough to make her older body very limber. Improving her flexibility was practically a necessity since there were a couple of nights where she ended up pulling something (Or multiple somethings depending on the woman).

Needless to say Suzuki's pride couldn't bare the shame of such injuries. So she took the advice of a lovely young woman she'd come to know very well (Who had been the cause of several mortifying bedroom injuries), and she took up yoga. She hated it, of course. To Suzuki, there was nothing worse than trying to be calm and achieve inner peace. Thankfully, every session was worth the trouble seeing as she hadn't pulled any more muscles for years now.

So, after being able to endure the punishing hold for so long, Suzuki was able to strike Carmen's head with repeated elbows and escape her grasp. Rolling away in the opposite direction, the older woman would try to recover herself as she felt her neck and spine crack a few times in relief. Still, Suzuki wanted payback. So she wouldn't stay down long. Instead, Suzuki would stumble up on her feet and then charge towards Carmen for a punting kick to the woman's body. She was still a bit wobbly on her feet, though, so regardless of whether or not her foot connected, the older woman would probs end up falling back down on the floor.

Suzuki Adachi vs. Carmen Rodriguez - Blood in the Water - Page 3 Empty Re: Suzuki Adachi vs. Carmen Rodriguez - Blood in the Water

Ugh. Carmen was starting to remember why she didn’t exactly miss being the 24/7 Champion. It wasn’t the damage to her property - the AFW was good about reimbursing her for that sort of thing, had some of the tightest accountants on the planet. But the matches themselves tended to take a lot out of her, to the point where she couldn’t recall one that didn’t have weeks of recovery time, and she had the distinct feeling this one would be no different.

She was already feeling it now, even though the match wasn’t even five minutes old, her body reeling from that last shot. She started to push her way up, but it wasn’t the quickest of processes, and Suzuki was too focused to let a gap like this go unpunished.

Carmen was just getting up to her knees when her opponent closed in and sent a wild kick to her midsection, landing right on a rib. A good, solid blow, it connected with one of Carmen’s ribs and forced a cry out of her as she went tumbling away. Nothing was broken, she didn’t think, but she’d had enough cracked ribs to know when she felt it. That would be stinging for days. Weeks, even.

Hissing, gritting her teeth, she leaned against the wall and used it for support as she rose, clutching her side all the way. ”That as-” She winced, interrupting herself. ”That as hard as you can hit, old lady?”

Suzuki could herself gaining some momentum. After getting free and giving Carmen a parting punt to her midsection for good measure, the older woman could feel that the match was taking a turn in her favor. Sure, she had just dropped on her back after punting that ribcage, but the impact her back just took was a small price compared to what Carmen must be dealing with. The younger woman was tough, though. As soon as she was up against the wall, she was already trash talking. Asking if that was as hard as she could hit, and calling her 'old lady' while she was at it. Suzuki chuckled at the little jab at her age. She wouldn't take it personally. After all, she'd already be hitting Carmen plenty before this match was done. There was no need to be bothered by it. Besides, that brief pause Carmen had while wincing told Suzuki she was obviously bluffing to keep up a tough face.

"Hmmm...I'm not really sure...but if you really want to know...I'm sure there's a bat or something else blunt around here. Then, I'll show you just how hard I can hit you~" Suzuki would reply in a tone so non-threatening (And yet still so incredibly dark) that her daughter would jump out of a window before she risked staying in the same building as her mom. It seemed that being called old had actually gotten under the woman's skin. Which meant she would probably see for herself just how hard she could hit Carmen...regardless of her opponent's thoughts on the matter. Sadly, Carmen didn't really have the pleasure of knowing about the experiences Mako had in similar situations (Not that Mako had ever successfully escaped her mother's wrath in her life). But Suzuki didn't plan on looking around for a blunt weapon just yet. Instead, she was more focused on enjoying the feeling of her bare hards doing their very worst to Carmen's (currently) impressive figure.

Carmen’s jab at Suzuki had been nothing more than a little poke, nothing too serious. The woman was in great shape for any age, really, and it was obvious that she still had the stamina to hang with someone younger than she was. If age had limited her in any major way, it wasn’t showing in this fight so far - the elder Adachi was as wily and fierce as anyone Carmen had taken on so far in Tension, could easily hold her own within the league. She wasn’t sure what she had planned for a career, but she could go places. Maybe even take a crack at her daughter’s title, were she so inclined.

But she wouldn’t be doing it off Carmen’s back. That was not in the cards.

There was some dark edge in the way Suzuki spoke, but she didn’t let it bother her too much, instead focusing on getting back into the match and recovering. The woman gave her a second to catch her breath, something she needed, and she used it wisely - deep gulps, filling the lungs, taking her second wind.

With that done, she was quick to move back into action and pushed forward, trying to tackle Suzuki and drive her hard forward to her workout room. A good place for the fight to move on to - if she wanted blunt objects, she was about to be surrounded by a variety of them.

Suzuki wasn't interested in titles. She might try to take one if so bitch pissed her off. But no, she was here for the action. And Carmen was giving her exactly what she wanted! After being given a slight moment of rest from any more strikes, Carmen came charging straight at Suzuki and tackled her into a work out room. The older fighter grunted out as she braced herself for a hard landing, but was surprised to find herself bouncing suddenly. Turns out Carmen had sent her fumbling onto an exercise ball. Luckily, the ball didn't pop either. Although that would've just been bad for Carmen since she was the one who owned the thing.

"OOF! Shit..." she cursed after the confusing landing on her belly. Still, she was able to scramble up on her feet a lot faster since the drop was softened. This gave Suzuki the time she needed to suddenly kick that big exercise ball like a soccer ball, straight towards Carmen's head. This wouldn't really hurt. It would stun the woman, though. Which was exactly what Suzuki needed. That way she could scan the room long enough to find a weapon. And out of all the weights and blunt objects, the one that caught her eye was a jump rope. Grinning with sadistic glee, Suzuki snatched it right up and charged back at her opponent. Then she'd try to wrap the rope around Carmen's neck and strangle the life out of her! "Sorry if this isn't your thing! But I hear there's plenty of subs who like to be strangled around here~" the woman chuckled as she tried to choke her prey out. Of course she didn't know Carmen had a big S&M fetish. If she did, she probably would have tried to whip her with the rope instead.

Carmen threw her all into that push, a hard tackle with her full momentum behind it. It wasn’t ineffective, it definitely knocked the wind out of the older woman…

...but it wasn’t as effective as she would’ve liked. It wasn’t exactly a good crash for either of them, with them tumbling apart and Carmen crashing up against the wall, making the room shake with her impact. But she was far from rattled, just needed a moment to collect herself.

She had just started to do that, too, when, of all things, a ball smacked her upside the face. It didn’t hurt, no more than a little pat on the face, these things were harmless b y design - but it stunned her, long enough for Suzuki to follow up with some much more substantial.

Carmen was stunned for an instant, but an instant was all Suzuki needed to close that distance, coming in fast. The next thing she knew, there was a rope around her neck - a jump rope, to be exact. Not exactly a garotte, but it was tight, and with a woman like her strength backing it up, she could turn it into a real threat. Carmen found herself struggling hard for air, pulling at the ropes as she twisted in the Japanese woman’s inexorable grasp, twisting left and right in a desperate bid to get free.

Why did she get the impression Suzuki had done something similar to this before?

"Heh~ There, there~ Be a good little girl and go to sleep..." Suzuki purred sweetly into Carmen's ear as she strangled her like a bitch. Suzuki did have past experience for this sorta thing. What exactly she did would remain a secret, however. Despite the beating she'd been giving the younger woman, though, Carmen still had a lot of fight in her as she struggled wildly. Suzuki was worried the rope might snap due to all the strain they were putting on it. But, then again, it wasn't her rope.

Worst case scenario, she'd just buy Carmen a new one if she lost. But if the younger woman ended up losing to her...well she'd still probably buy everything that broke during their fight. Suzuki was nice like that. "Wooaaah! Oh no you don't, kiddo!~" she'd say after nearly losing her grip on the rope and the thrashing woman they were wrapped around. Suzuki was just as stubborn as Carmen, though. If she wouldn't stop struggling, then the older woman wouldn't let up on the strangling, either! "You know...you're a pretty stubborn...uh...what's the word for it...aaaahh...a chiki?" Suzuki began to say, before struggling to remember the word she wanted. She spoke some languages other than Japanese, sure. However, Spanish was not one of them. "Hey before you past out...can you squeak out the word for girl in Spanish?" the older woman asked, the slight smirk on her face making it clear her own request was making her giggle.

Carmen had some immediate, pressing needs. For instance, she needed to breath. She needed to get out of Suzuki’s grasp. She needed to not by choked out in her own apartment by her own jump rope, of all things - she wasn’t exactly a prideful woman, but there were things even she didn’t want to have to live down.

Sad for her, though, Suzuki wasn’t in agreement with those terms, and seemed intent on denying said needs. She kept her grip tight, kept squeezing and choking, and Carmen was starting to see spots form in her vision as the lack of oxygen took its toll. Never a good sign.

Calm down. Think. Way your options.

Suzuki was saying...something, but Carmen couldn’t make sense to the words, her brain devoting its processing power to figuring out her escape. Thrashing around wasn’t going to get her out. But if she went with something a little more thought out, took her by surprise, that could give her the window she needed.

Giving it a shot, Carmen plant one foot on the floor, then another, and made like she was raising up, trying to stand and force Suzuki up along with her to maintain the hold. They’d only gotten halfway, however, when Carmen reached back, grabbed her foe’s hair, and pulled her head down so her chin was against the top of her skull. The instant she felt them touch, she kicked out her leg and dropped flat on her backside, forcing Suzuki’s chin to smack against her head, attempting to nail her with a reversed version of the jawbreaker.

Suzuki may have been teasing Carmen a little bit too much. Maybe she was getting a little overconfident? Well it didn't really matter why anymore. Cause when Carmen caught her by surprise, Suzuki's world was spinning. The younger woman had reached back and grabbed the badass mother by her black hair. Which allowed her to pull Suzuki down as she herself dropped on her ass. The reason this hut so much, simple. It was the fact that Suzuki's jaw landed down on Carmen's head for some variation of a jawbreaker!

If she was so concussed at the moment, Suzuki would have been pretty impressed by that move. It was really creative, after all. However, as she lost her grip on the jump rope she was using to strangle Carmen with, the older woman would stumble backwards before tripping over something laying around in the room, which caused her to fall flat on her back with a thud. Causing her head to throb even more as the back of her skull smacked the floor as she collapsed.
