"Calm... calm... it was just one suplex... pull yourself together, everything will be fine, you will win today, you will win today, just put in more effort and you will win... you trained every day..." the thoughts were partly like a spell and partly like a prayer.

Margarita really understood that one throw was not enough for her. Her body could absorb a lot more damage. Of course, her back and the back of her head were filled with pain now, not to mention the fact that she was experiencing severe dizziness. Much more serious was the fact that now she was not sure that her skills would be enough to successfully complete the match. During the fight, the fighter is given only a few moments in order to choose the correct movement. And Margarita was ready to swear that her series of attacks was effective and correct. If she were chose a simpler attack somewhere, then not only would she look mediocre, but she might not be able to maintain an advantage.

After previous matches, she began training to exhaustion in an effort to get stronger. More than anything, she wanted to return to normal life. Life does not end with defeat. This is what she heard from other people and these are the messages she read on social networks. She could only envy people who believe in such words. Trying not to think about anything, the Sea Star tried to get to her feet after Amber threw her down with the suplex.

But, apparently, the dizziness was much more serious than she thought. The American girl was already on her feet and even more. She had enough energy to throw a few words towards Margarita. And these words were for the young girl like a hammer that hit her on the head. Perhaps any other person would not find anything superfluous in these words. But for the former actress, it sounded like a sentence.

"I know..." she muttered under her breath, trying to pull herself up, holding on to the rope.

However, she did not need it, since Amber grabbed her hand. Was she going to help her up? Yes, of course, and a second later the American girl sent the Sea Star to the other side of the ring. Because of the speed and dizziness, the girl's legs braided and she fell back on the ropes, after which she was directed in the opposite direction.

If she had a winning streak now, she would probably smile, throwing some vivid answer. But now these words seemed to emphasize the inevitability of what was happening. This thoughts began to eat her from the inside like a virus. Due to the speed, she felt a coldness on her face, which helped her to clear her eyes a little. What is it? Outstretched arm? A clothesline? Sounds familiar, last time a clothesline was the beginning of the end of the match for Margarita. Will it be the same this time? Will the guardian of the future be defeated again and sent into oblivion in disgrace? No.

"We are only done when you are defeated, Amber!" cried Margarita, not sparing her voice.

She could not dodge this clothesline, the consequences of the suplex had not yet been forgotten. But she would be damned if she allowed her opponent to increase her advantage in such a trivial way. Yes, she could not dodge, but she could answer differently. The former actress could stretch her arm to the side in order to use her own clothesline! If necessary, she will even rise from the dead to win this match. And although she knew that in a moment her rival's hand would send her to the mat, this was not an argument for her not to try to implement her own attack, because ultimately unpredictability was one of the most striking distinctive sides of Margarita.

Now that was starting to look more like a match and less like a squash like it was before. Amber was still feeling the consequences of being one sided like she had been for the first minutes of the match and her body was still sore, but there was a surge of energy coming from her now that she knew she was again in the match. A couple of dodges just at the proper time and a German suplex gave the Inventor the time she needed to regain some of her breath and feeling like she still had a chance. It also helped in forcing Margarita to come down to earth and see her rival in a new light. Up to that point the pinkette had almost everything going her way and she was highly motivated to keep pushing towards victory. In successfully breaking her pin and also retaliating some, Amber had managed to stop that rush of high morale to a point she could take advantage of the Sea Star falling down. She didn’t want Margarita to feel devastated, but having the pinkette acknowledging her as a real threat to her win was pivotal to get the win.

Amber needed yo use that speck of doubt that surfaced in Margarita’s face, and that was why she kept going ignoring the pain in her body and whipped the woman against the ropes. She was feeling it, this was the start of her comeback. The Inventor ran in opposite direction and used the ropes to gain momentum, running towards the Sea Star attempting a clothesline. There was some chance of Margarita dodging the hit and that was why Amber was acting with certain caution, being ready to go at the ropes again if it was needed to try attacking once more, but what she wasn’t expecting at all was Margarita to accept the hit but retaliate in a mirrored way, making a clothesline herself!

“O-ooooomph!” All air escaped Amber’s chest as she flew back a little when impacted, falling on her back. At first she writhed a little, the damage being big given the momentum both women had in themselves and how unexpected that was. Groaning in pain and exertion, she tried her best to get on all fours and then get back on her feet, but her body was feeling heavier with each impact she got hit with. Amber was going to start thinking about evading everything or her prospects for the match would go down.

She knew it was inevitable. And all that was left for Margarita was to try to prepare for this. But you cannot prepare for this. This became best understood at the moment when the outstretched arm of her rival crashed into the chest of the Sea Star. The former actress cried out in pain as the ground was knocked out from under her feet and the body of the Danish girl began to fall backwards.

As soon as the back of the pink-haired girl hit the mat, she put her hands on her chest. Involuntarily closing her eyes, she tried to take regular breaths in order to restore at least part of her strength. Due to the dizziness after the suplex, the consequences of this collision were much more significant than she expected.

Yet somewhere deep inside, she was glad. It was much better than not being able to find the strength in order to answer the American girl to her attack. Margarita could only guess what her opponent was counting on at the moment when she used the Irish whip at this stage of the match. Either she was too confident in the strength of her suplex, or she too underestimated the Sea Star. If Margarita was able to come to terms with the first option, then the second option made her feel not the best.

The Danish girl wanted to finally get a taste of victory and she had no desire to look like an idiot in the ring again. And if her rival thought that Sea Star could be defeated by such mediocre attacks, then she should think again.

"Get up!" she thought to herself. "You must win!"

With a groan of pain, the girl rolled over onto her stomach, and then, shaking her head, she got up on all fours. The pain in her chest still bothered her, and bruises were already visible on the body. It was worth giving credit to this American girl, she really put a lot of energy into her attacks. By the way about her. The Sea Star blinked several times and realized that Amber was doing the same. She, too, tried to get to her feet and was on all fours now.

The American girl is surely counting on some rest and a new strategy. Well, no one will argue that Margarita needed this too. Therefore, the option in which both girls rise to their feet should be very rational. That is why, clenching her jaws, Margarita rushed forward, rising from all fours to her knees.

Instead of getting to her feet, she was about to grab the American girl's right shoulder with her left hand. The fiery temper of the Sea Star did not allow her to slow things down, and her passionate desire to win pushed her forward. And so she was about to clench her right fist, straining her right arm. Tired of being pinned at the end of the match over and over again, she was going to put all her soul into her every move. And right now, the former actress was about to send a right elbow strike directly to Amber's left cheek in order to knock the spirit out of the American girl.

The situation was starting to become dire for Amber, who had some good moments landing some hits but in the end she was taking too much damage. The Inventor’s rival was lighter than her and that was mitigating circumstance but it didn’t gave Amber a free pass. She was no powerhouse at all and in the end getting hit so many times by her rival was starting to take its toll on her. If the woman couldn’t start making some good dodges and take the initiative to take the fight back to Margarita she was definitely done for in a few span of time.

For some instants it looked like Amber had been able to make a shift in the match’s situation in order to seize some control while making some damage to her rival’s defenses, but she definitely overestimated her comeback. Margarita was a strong fighter and a powerful rival, but if Amber had to point to her best asset that would be that unknown force that drove Margarita to go beyond any reasonable limit and just refuse to stay down. Amber was still in an early stage of her career and thought she could learn a lot from that woman, seeing the pinkette she already admired in a strange but shining new light.

Of course to do all that she still had to overcome lots of difficulties, the most prominent that night’s match. Margarita had found the inner strength to make Amber’s clothesline into a double hit, and the Inventor took much more time than her rival to get over it and that was why the pinkette found some window of opportunity to hit her with a powerful elbow strike to her cheek that almost sends Amber to the mat once more. But it didn’t, maybe some of Margarita’s resilience had stuck on her, but now Amber wanted to endure the pain no matter how intense and show that woman what she was made of. That was why she would retaliate in a similar way by throwing an elbow, but this time to Margarita’s stomach! “Hyaah!”

It was difficult to tell what emotions were prevailing in the Danish girl right now. On the one hand, she at least partially enjoyed the match, because her incredible efforts, which she applied, bore fruit. But she couldn't shake off the taste of despair. Margarita understood that another defeat would make the hole in which she found herself even deeper. This simultaneously pressed on her and pushed her forward. Weird feeling. A very weird feeling. She didn't want to feel this pressure anymore. She wanted to get rid of it, and for that she needed to win.

And she refused to give up. No, not today. If everything was okay, she could afford to put in less effort. But now she wanted to lay out everything she had. Forgetting about shopping and other delights of her daily life, she plunged headlong into training. And now the time has come to show that she is capable of more than just losing. Now she was in pain, but she was determined to overcome this. And she put this meaning into a hard strike with her elbow, which she sent to the head of her rival.

She was ready to swear that the force of this blow should be enough for Amber to hear the ringing of bells. She even let go of the shoulder of the American girl, because she did not want to prevent the fall. Now the brown-haired girl will fall on the mat with no signs of movement and the Sea Star will be able to continue the onslaught. This is exactly what she thought until the body of her rival literally froze in space. Amber stopped her fall. Not only. She straightened up sharply and sent her own elbow to the stomach of the former actress. Margarita's insides tightened, and a lump rose up to her throat, which made her breathless.

"Glack..." she made an indistinct sound.

It was too unexpected. And even if you consider that she had good abdominal muscles, now it did not help her. The girl involuntarily grabbed her stomach with her left hand, leaning forward, unable to cope with the pain. Margarita lowered her head, standing on three limbs in front of her rival. There was no denying, Amber was good, she was damn good at this moment. It seems that not only Margarita had a desire for victory, which could not but please the audience, which began to slowly shift sympathies towards the American girl. She wanted to try to strike one more blow, but oxygen was needed for that, and thanks to Amber's strong-willed blow, the Danish girl was now unable to breathe.

The wrestler’s life is a complex one. Watching from home one could think that a wrestler must only be in good physical form and then perform now and then when they got booked for a match, but the events unfolding on a fighting ring aren’t as simple as that. When inside the arena, a wrestler must put to use all the knowledge and form they gathered in the gym, but having each single wrestler using the only style they are great at against every rival would make a dull show, and that was what put the difference between boring wrestlers and good ones. The earlier ones weren’t able to adapt while the latter ones were capable of gathering info about their rivals and using the best style possible against them, or they were just able to adapt to any situation thrown at them.

That night’s match was being a very unusual one, pushing Amber out of the boundaries of her comfort zone to the point she couldn’t use her usual high flying hit and run tactics. Instead, the match had taken a slower pace. Both wrestlers who were in the light and highly mobile department were hitting each other slow and taking severe hits as if they were powerhouses instead of quick fighters. The public was surprised by that but happy since the roars coming from the stands filled the arena. As long as it remained like that, Amber would keep fighting.

And fighting was much needed since it looked like Margarita still had some grasp on the events of the match. For some time the pinkette had been on the winning side, and it took a lot of effort coming from Amber to turn the tables. In order to make her comeback she needed to hit the Sea Star with something more decisive. For the last instants both wrestlers have been exchanging blows as if they were heavyweights, but after Amber’s wlbow strike she noticed how Margarita staggered and fell on three limbs. Seeing that as her chance, Amber grabbed the pinkette by the scalp and repositioned so she could hit her rival with a DDT that would settle her dominance!

"Air... I need..." thought Margarita.

Indeed, that was the only thing she needed now. She even could handle with the pain now, but because she could not breathe, her body seemed to be bound in chains. The Danish girl tried with all her strength to concentrate and take a breath, but she did not succeed.

She didn't even have the strength to raise her hands at the moment when Amber grabbed her head. This time, she couldn't stop her rival from doing what she planned. Thanks to her willpower and desire to win, the pink-haired girl overcame the Irish whip and responded with own attack to the attack. And she hoped that her strength would be enough to knock the spirit out of the American girl with an elbow strike. But Amber was too good at hitting back.

The Sea Star understood perfectly well what her rival wanted to do. She realized this the moment she was in the front facelock position. All the former actress had to do was get ready. But you couldn't get ready for something like that.

"Aaaaaa!!" she screamed shortly as her face crashed into the mat.

Now she could not cope with the pain. Her face was burned, and even the lack of oxygen did not prevent her from lifting her hands to cover her face. It hurt, it hurt as hell, even though this was the classic version of DDT. This time, Amber did not act as corny as in the case of the clothesline and it brought her what she so longed for.

Margarita wanted to roll from side to side because of the pain in her head, but she was not strong enough even for that. After the Danish girl covered her face, she remained almost motionless. Tears appeared in her eyes, but no one saw it, this was the only consolation at the moment.

With how things were going Amber found herself in a crossroads with only one valid option. First, she could keep going with her comeback and try make it a reality, press forward against her now relenting rival and take the lead in the match and get her best shot at the victory. The other way would be letting Margarita recover while the Inventor regained some of her breath, but it the pinkette had shown something with her skills was that if left to do freely, the Sea Star would find a way to make Amber pay for it and that would definitely hinder her prospects in that match. Amber was feeling a little exhausted already from all the damage she had sustained, so for her there was only the option of keeping the pressure, not letting Margarita breathe and hoping that could serve her to get the win before her tank was empty.

Luckily for Amber it looked like her momentum helped her remain on top. From her position it was easy for her to handle Margarita and set her in a headlock to then execute a DDT, falling to the mat and making the pinkette hit the canvas head first. That would surely make a dent on the Sea Star’s defenses and on her morale as well, but the thing Amber was interested the most was in making her rival unable to move for some time. For the Inventor’s best hits to be set up and executed she needed some time to prepare, and her rival to be still so she could focus on the technical execution, and that was just what she got as Margarita looked dazed and in a tight spot as she lay on the mat aparently unable to roll aside.

That was Amber’s cue to start acting. Moving quickly, she ran towards the ropes as the crowd understood that something was coming and started cheering for her. That was the fuel she needed for her resolve. Amber then jumped towards the second rope and used them as a spring to jump towards her rival, turning her body in the air to land with her chest against Margarita’s body in a splash move! After that and if she hit her rival, the Inventor would immediately use her advantage to hook one of Margarita’s legs, pinning the woman to try and settle the match in that move!

Due to severe pain in the head and dizziness, Margarita was now in poor condition, her thoughts were confused, and her body refused to obey. Even though her breathing had stabilized a little, she could not have dreamed of returning to the game. If the first act in this ring belonged to her, now all things were under the control of her rival.

“Pull yourself together, Margarita, you still can win,” even in spite of everything, she tried not to lose hope and continued to mentally cheer herself up.

But positive thoughts were not always enough. Before talking to Victoria, she hadn't felt positive at all lately. But the manager was able to cheer her up, giving her hope that today her black streak will end. The Danish girl made a promise that she would win today. And she was going to fulfill that promise. All she needed was to release herself from the damn dizziness.

But all she had the strength to do was roll over from her belly to her back. The former actress opened her eyes and wiped away her tears to at least find out where her rival was now. But the problem was that the American girl was nowhere near. But the former actress heard the growing noise of the crowd. And she knew it didn't mean anything good to her. A shadow passed over her face. It was Amber, whose body fell on the body of Margarita a second later.

"Gaaaaahhhhh!!!!!" she screamed in agony.

For a moment, it even seemed to her that under the weight of Amber, her ribs were broken, despite the fact that in reality everything was not so bad. But it was bad enough for the pink-haired girl's upper body and lower body to spontaneously lift up before falling back onto the mat. The former actress's face was distorted due to pain, her mouth was open, but she was only able to take extremely short breaths. Any attempt to breathe normally caused more pain. She felt her opponent grab her leg, but she wasn't even close to doing anything about it. But the referee girl wasted no time. She fell down next to the wrestlers and slapped the mat for the first time.

"ONE!" the audience shouted loudly.

Absolute success! Just when Amber needed that morale boost the most, she managed to not only regain control over the match but then set her rival down and execute a high impact flying move on her! Now Amber was starting to feel in real control of the situation, coming back to her usual style of wrestling with quick hit and run tactics that left her rivals wondering where she actually was before a big hit would bring them down for the count. Amber groaned in exertion as her body impacted against Margarita’s, but she knew pretty well that any damage she got her rival would have felt it tenfold. It wasn’t a terrifying move in terms of pain, but it was well suited for leaving a rival weakened and dazed so she could make her pinning maneuver.

“Come on, this is it!”, Amber muttered to reassure herself. She only had to maintain the pin for three seconds and it would be all over, victory would be hers. The referee girl quickly got to the mat and gave the first slap to the canvas. Amber was breathing hard, the move had taken a toll on her resistance, but it looked like that might be it. Margarita wasn’t showing any sign of resistance and she looked quite defeated if Amber was asked about it. The Inventor made her best to maintain the pin in case the Sea Star found some inner strength to fight back in the most important of any pin.
