Romance of the Shadow Furries

"How are you mother? Dad's back is acting up? Do you need me, I can come over... alright I'm coming over, love you ma," she said while speaking on the phone, hand nursing the scratch at her hip. It wasn't much of a cut, barely cutting into her skin but did irritate her. When done she smuggled the thin phone somewhere between her breasts, stretching out as looked towards the cat.

O' well, looks like we will ahve to cancel for the day and pick this up next time. My parents need some help. Father probably hurt his back again," she says scratching the back of her head and looking apologetic.

Kuro was a bit upset that he couldn't continue this battle that started heating up but maybe some other time. His body's temperature started fading away as the urge to fight was slowly drained from him, nodding at the vixen who some urgent matters to attend to.

Kuromaru would simply exist from the dojo as he stood outside the dark yet moon lightened forest looking back at Yori waiting for her to follow through and towards the grand city.

After putting some ointment on the scratch and adorning herself in something a little bit warmer for the bitter cold of the season, a tan sweater that hugged her shape nicely. It kept her warm in the cool night air, waving to the cat ninja as she got into the small little hatchback she used to drive from her apartment to here and left, "Bye, tell Hariou I'm going to see my parents, I'll be back later. Hope you're ready for round 2 when I get back."

Her drive wasn't too long, arriving at the steps to the small countryside home just outside the city, "Ah, home sweet home. Hope dad isn't too bad. He already hurt his back once," she says before ascending the steps.

The young vixen would feel the cold breeze striking her la petite figure as she reached her home that wasn't that was far away from the forest dojo. It was a rural area near the city with some minor forms of technologies imported for the comfiness of it's residents like a small train station.

Everything was the same it always have been as Yori took the first step. The shaved lawn her father used to clean, the fancy white fence she used to see before coming home, and the slightly opened door of her house.......

Yori made her way up to the stairs to the long year, going through the old fox gate that separated the lawn with a white fence that had been constructed only a few years back to mark the proper boundaries. The lights were on at home, but the door was ajar, something that immediately jumped at her as odd to see. Mother hated the cold, having grown up in warmer climates, she'd never leave that door open on a night like this.

"Mom, dad, I'm home!" she calls out, walking the path towards the front porch and door. It was probably just the wind, that was all.

Nothing was responding. It was too quite you might, a little too much. Not a single wood crack or a cough or even the sound of someone passing through the corridor. Being a ninja clan that would desirable but sometimes in these cases it would be a bit concerning.

As the vixen approached the door she could see the silhouette of a figure with long ears popping barely to gaze who's there before disappearing. foxes had long ears but this one were long yet roundish as the end.s

"Mom... dad... are one of the neighbors over? Anyone? the young kitsune asked, raising her voice for her parents to hear. Something was feeling increasingly wrong, remembering that the Uza family was away on vacation for the month. Whomever the shadow belonged to was someone that she didn't know.

She'd creep in silently, a hand creeping closer and closer to a bladed fan that was hidden upon her person. Yori didn't like this feeling, creeping as silent as a church mouse into her childhood home, "Everything alright..." she says before cutting herself off.

The moment she entered into her once lovely household was when the door was shutdown as a kick into her back forced her to plump rolling into the ground. The hallway was suddenly cluttered with footsteps as the small number of individuals were circled around Yori, bunny guys wearing what seemed like lethal boxing gloves with wrapped barbwires.

They all looked like twins and the only difference was another bun person standing towards the end of the hallway that would lead to the main living room. His shining sunglass and menacing knuckle duster meant that he was the leader for these guys obviously, smiling sinisterly at the outnumbered vixen "Hello there little foxy. Came to join the party?" 

Could hear several footsteps as suddenly things became rather clear, but this was put to a stop as a strong kick from behind sent her tumbling down to the floor, "Hey, don't you know it's rude to hit a girl?" she says rubbing her back as she soon found herself rather surrounded by kickboxing bunnies. She quickly got up into a defensive stance, doing her best to judge just how many of these weirdos there was.

"Whatever party is, I don't think you all were invited," hand moving to grab the fan out and use it if need be as a weapon.

"Now now miss. We can always use the brute force or preferably the nicer way. Don't wanna scratch that cute face of yours" The bunny man said as he leaned on the wall with his four bun boxers blocking Yori from getting to their boss or the living room. Something was up and they didn't came for a pleasant visit.

For a bunch of hoodlums they were too silent as they raised their barbwire cladded fists. Definitely not in the regulations of any boxing tournament.
