The Prodigal Son

Kyoto, Japan:  AFW Tension Division Headquarters


14 years.

He never thought he would find himself back here after a 14-year absence.  He had heard how much the division changed since the last time he participated.  In those days, the league had more of a "Wild West" feeling to it.  Especially the name.  Sex Wars is what it was called then.  Still, it was an experience he would never forget.  But after 14 years...  Would anyone remember him?

The highlight of his career came along when two former Wrestle Angels contenders decided to participate in the division.  Both of which he admired and respected.  Yet after their four bouts, the two of them disappeared.  Some things happened that prompted him to leave the league and pursue other things.  Specifically, offerings in other wrestling promotions.  This gave him some time to figure himself out.  No longer was he the shy insecure man that hid his physique in loose fitting clothing.  He had more confidence, aggression, and quite charismatic yet still a minimalist.  He could cut a promo, but why?  He let his actions do the talking.  Although he wouldn't mind having a mouthpiece at his side speaking on his behalf.  He knew how to look imposing.  Nevertheless, the man known as The Silent Wall, returned to the place where it all began.  

Stepping off the bus with his duffle bag in hand, the red-haired stranger looked around while the bus left to the next stop.  He shifted his glance at the place and noted how different it was.  Maybe something will come out of this, maybe not.  14 years ago, he went by the name Sean.  Now, he went by Yoske.  There may be a few faces that would recognize him, but in this stage, he wasn't one to shine in the spotlight too much.  Yoske preferred the shadows.  Although from what he was told, there was a few spots open for him to participate in.  A lot of promise.  He wondered who would he run into.

Picking up his duffle bag, Yoske Ishimi made his way to the AFW Tension grounds to check in.  His appointment was in the next twenty minutes and he didn't want to keep the promoter waiting.  What in the world would be in store for the Silent Wall here?  Only time will tell...
