LEAGUE: Cherise Campbell vs Nathan Weed (complete)

Even if Cherise hadn't seen it, she was remembering what she'd done to him earlier. Once more pushed back down into the pin, she'd stop her movement for a moment, letting the ref count to Two before she'd move.

Cherise suddenly pushed up as hard as she could on his right arm, lifting her shoulder up as she tried to roll over. Her main concern was to get out of the pin as soon as she could. But she knew if she stayed in the grapevine, he'd be able to pull her upper body into another submission, which wouldn't end well for her.

The ref counted two, and Nathan could almost taste the end of this grueling match. Then Cherise tried to escape again.

This time, her efforts were concentrated on his weak arm. Cherise lifted her left shoulder and tried to escape by rolling to her right. Nathan's legs kept their trap on Cherise's, his left hand maintained its hold on her wrist, and Nathan remained more or less on top. However, the sudden maneuver caused Nathan's right arm to collapse. His elbow bent willingly to her persuasion and caused Nathan to lose balance, bringing his head and shoulder crashing down to the ground, hitting the grass beside Cherise's head.

The real danger though came when his right hand lost its grip on Cherise's left wrist, freeing her hand to move as it wished, and perhaps to take advantage of Nathan's current unbalanced position.

Even though she had managed to keep from being pinned again, and had gotten her hand free, she was still in a bad position. but she'd not let that stop her from trying to break free.

Nathan would feel her free hand reach for his other arm, using the strength of both her arms to put him into a armlock if possible. Not only to inflict pain, but to free up her other hand as well. Though her legs were starting to feel like they were in quite a bit of pain from the grapevine. She was thankful that he didn't apply pressure. She knew how much that would hurt.

Nathan felt Cherise reach for his left arm. He released Cherise's second arm of his own accord, trying to avoid Cherise's armbar. "Please leave my arms alone," Nathan requested politely. Instead, he will wrap his arms around Cherise's head and put the rest of his weight directly onto Cherise's frame, trying more to avoid her powerful submissions by minimizing her movements than to really crush her.

Cherise would grit her teeth as Nathan kept her from locking him into another submission. And she'd been locked in the grapevine hold for a while now. It was taking its effect on her. With his weight on top of her now, her head caught in his arms and pressed against his body, she'd stop struggling. She was trying to catch her breath, while also keeping her shoulders off the ground. She needed to think of a new strategy. Something that would get her out of this hold, and fast.

Nathan gave a sigh of relief as Cherise stopped struggling. Nathan had stopped trying to pin her, since her squirming had been wearing him out too. "Do you want to submit?" Nathan asked uncertainly, breathing hard. He didn't think she would; even though she had to be tired from all the effort, the hold didn't feel like it was doing any damage. But one could hope. He tensed, willing his opponent to surrender.

"No..." She'd take a few deep breaths, closing her eyes. And then without warning, she'd suddenly try to roll them over, hoping to reverse their positions. If she could manage that, she'd reach up for his arms to pry them off her head. She needed to free herself as soon as possible, to keep him from putting her back into that same position.

Nathan nodded, though Cherise wouldn't be able to see. He expected as much. Sighing, he started to disengage his hold on Cherise because it was clear that he wouldn't be able to win the match like this.

Suddenly, Cherise mounted another escape attempt, trying to achieve the top position. Nathan, already on his way off of Cherise, was caught off guard. He landed clumsily on his back, his legs sore from holding Cherise in the grapevine for so long.

Cherise would take a moment to catch her breath. Her legs were quite sore from the hold, and she knew it would be a while before she could use them in an effective submission hold. She'd manage to sit herself on Nathan's chest. Leaning down, she'd aim to wrap her arms around his head and pull upwards. With her sitting on top of him, it was likely to hurt a bit. But that was the point of the hold really.

"Arrrghh!" Nathan was in agony. HIs neck strained at Cherise's hold, and his vision started to go dark.

Nathan tried to loosen Cherise's hold on his head, but from his position it was hard to accomplish anything. Finally, Nathan would try to push Cherise off his chest. He'd use his arms to shove Cherise to his left while simultaneously lifting his right shoulder. Ideally, the maneuver would slide Cherise off his chest and cause her to release the hold, but, at this point, he would be happy if it just relieved some of the pain in his neck.
