As a first outing for this rebooted account, I'd like to engage some opponent in a matroom, or something equivalent, with a focus on BJJ, Catch Wrestling, MMA, etc. It can range from actual training (preferably of the character I play but I can do yours even if I'd like further teaching for BJJ.) to an extreme match. Either way, message me if you wanna bite. While I do like femdom and all that, I will do my best to treat any participants equally.

You can pick either Senji or Hiroyuki but I'm …

Ok, didn't know that, obviously the WWE drained his spirit and filled the void with a big fill of boring cheese <img src=" title="Wink" />

It happens to a lot of people. And 2000 HHH was fine, 2003: not so much.

I'm gonna guess that most of you guys talking about comics don't actually read them. :|

I liked 2003 Triple H. In my opinion was the best Heel in a long while. The fact that you, and many others STILL dislike him for that time proves it. I know some smartass joke from someone is gonna follow this, but I don't think there was one person cheering for Triple H at that time. He had huge heat from the crowd and it was brilliant.

It wasn't so brilliant when I stopped watching RAW for about 4 years. I disliked Lesnar, Show, Angle: whoever was the heel dejour at the time too, none of them made me turn the channel. He was the most dominant heel, but there was no reason to really give a fuck about him, no reason to stay tuned and wait for his commupence to come because it would never stick. He may not have had a single person cheering for him but neither did X-pac.

JBL, Mark Henry: they were better heels. JBL had the long ass reign but at no point did he look unbeatable and that there was no consequences in his future. When he did pull out victory there was always some greater cost or screwiness that exacerbated the "Someone kick his ass!" factor while at no point diminishing the possibility that they could.

Mark was just a straight up monster as champ, there was an aura of panic: he had just beaten Orton clean twice in a row, he was going out of his way to just injure people, but there was still the glimmer of hope. There were credible challengers and the constant looming potential of Daniel Bryan defying his word just to screw with him. He was the big bad, but he wasn't so much as the focus as the heroes were at the time. And he could actually get to the point when he spoke, unlike Trip's "take 20 minutes to say what could be said in 3" routine.

I feel it was quite the opposite. There were plenty of people who tuned in every week to see if someone was going to shut up Triple H and finally get him off his high horse. In fact, that's shown by the fact that WWE was in the 5's in ratings during that time. 4's and 5's, something that WWE only DREAMS about nowadays. Triple H WAS the sole reason alot of people tuned in, to see who would step up against him next.

As for the other end, Angle and Lesnar and all them, that was some spectacular stuff, not sure why you disliked that, but it's all good. I think today, people have this odd sense that "Oh indie wrestler, better than everyone else." Face it, Daniel Bryan is really nothing special to be completely honest. Almost all of TNA's roster is better than him, and quite a few in WWE as well. Ive seen his indie stuff as well. We have quite the twisted sense of wrestling nowadays, really makes me wish we could go back to 2002-2005, but that's asking for the impossible.

I disliked them because they were heels (well they changed a lot) because I hadn't smartened up then, but none of them at their most vile made me just go "fuck this." quite like HHH did. That was my point.

Wait just a gosh-darned minute here. Now I haven't actually watched wrestling in years, save for Youtubing a match here or there, but something just caught my eye...

We're not talking about Sexual Chocolate Mark Henry, are we? The Mark Henry that seduced Mae Young, right?

Yes, they are. They are also talking about Hunter Hearst Helmsley, the high class heel from Greenwich Connecticut, otherwise known as Triple H. There's a reason why his finisher is called the Pedigree.

Wrestlers have different gimmicks and they change them over time. In short, it's what people on the board call "Making a completely new character".

I know who the frack Triple H is. I'm just wondering how the hell Mark Henry ended up as champion. The very thought boggles my mind.
