Peace Across Worlds

When Lina knocked on his door,the lion almost fell for no reason.He turns to the door and almost throws it open.He sees Lina and was relieved. "You were gone for so long....Was everything okay?"

"Yeah everything's ok. It took a big longer than expected but it's all worked out. " she hands the new contract to him, which is a big thicker than the old one and she briefly mentions the changes.

Reading it over,there were some goods and bad.His benefits improved a bit.Also,his match pay increased,Although he has to pay Lina for being his manager.He was given a 'membership for him and a guest to eat at the buffet across the street anytime,for free. (Probably more for Lina.)

But,he may have to plug/wear AWF related merchandise...And he was not allowed in the forest past midnight and before sunrise anymore.

"H-How can I thank you?"

"Uhm......Don't forget to pay me and feed me?" She wasn't really sure what to say so she just said the first thing that came to mind and it sounded and looked pretty obvious. "Does everything look good? Could I have done better?" She slightly slightly concerned.

"But of course.I'd do just about anything for my new manager.And this contract? Perfect.I feel better knowing that I have some form of help here,and that Im not on my own in an unknown situation." Jay promises to Lina.He puts the Contract down on the table and turns around to tightly bearhug Lina in joy.

Lina gives a small sigh of relief. "Glad you like it." She is then surprised by her being what she thought was going to be a regular hug then it becoming something else instead. "WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Hearing Lina yell,Jay let go and took several steps back.He didnt say anything,but his tail was puffed up again.Jay feared backslash like before.Like the many times before.This was a bad one,too.Lina was his manager,and she had the power to make his life hell.Jay swallows nervously. "Lina,please.....I-Im sorry..."

"What was that for?" she didn't sound too thrilled. She tells him about something Veldaris messaged to her while she was out, something about "I guess that's what Vel meant by of beware of his rib cracking hugs." which he didn't break anything of Vel's but Lina about to get angry. "If this is your idea of sneaking your sick fetish on me so help me we will test out that dental plan after I shove my foot through your face....Do NOT do that again, you got it?"

While she wasn't happy it sounded like she was going to let it go, though she sits on the couch, turning her attention back to the tv, almost intentionally ignore him for a little bit.

Veldaris had gotten to Lina in time fortunately.If she hadnt warned Lina,Jay wight have been burned from the girl's fire.Jay found just a bit of solace in the fact,but he still was nervous and didnt move towards Lina. "No...I-I was just happy that I got a better contract.I said I was sorry,Lina..."

She sat back down on the couch and faced away from the lion.The boy sighed and thought about what he could do.After about 15 minuets or so,Jay sat on the other side of the couch and watched TV with her.He was still unsure of what to say....

After flipping through some channels she saw some random show and it had a couple people on it hugging and she points at it. "If you were trying to do that you fail." She flipped through a few more channels until she saw an ad for something that looked anyone would want to eat it. While her stomach didn't give any verbal giveaways she was thinking about getting some food her but didn't feel like getting up for it.
