The great underwear heist (Complete)

Selene nodded, "Let me come with you. I was actually wearing more when I came in."

Matt nodded, letting her come with him. He guessed she didn't want to be left alone in a male controlled area. They soon arrived at the cubbies where everyone kept their clothes while they showered. Matt searched around for his, and then he frowned. His black Metallica t-shirt and blue jeans were gone. He couldn't seem to find them in what he was sure was his cubby. They weren't in any of the other cubbies either! At first, he thought they might have fell out, but they were nowhere to be seen.

"Selene, I've been robbed!" Matt exclaimed, now searching frantically through the cubbies. "Someone stole my clothes!"

Selene bit her lip so sharply it almost drew blood to stop herself from laughing, "Oh no..." she spoke breathlessly, "Well, we've had a bit of a clothing theft rampage recently, from what I've heard." She lied, "That's why I brought my swimsuit into the shower." She did a little strut to show it off as she pretended to glance through the cubbyholes, specifically pointing out one next to Matt's as the one she 'chose.' "Oh my, my clothes are gone too," She sighed, ignoring her actual clothes in a separate cubbyhole.

Matt groaned and slapped his forehead. "Great! What am I supposed to wear back to the Dorms? At least you have a swimsuit! Someone's gonna pay for this! It's probably some stupid prank someone thought would be funny! Well, I'm gonna-" Matt stopped himself, a sudden realization coming to him. Wait a minute.

Prank?

Matt turned back to Selene again, this time with a more suspicious gaze. "Uh, you said your clothes were stolen too, right?"

Selene had switched to biting her tongue now. This is where it gets interesting. She couldn't play any coy girly games now or else Matt might figure it out before the punchline is sprung.

"Well, they're not where I left them, at least." She said, shrugging her shoulders.

Matt narrowed his eyes. He went to the cubbies again, not looking for his clothes this time. This time he was looking for clothes of a more fanciful nature, ones that most likely belonged to Selene. A woman with as much money as her would only carry herself in high class stuff. And low and behold, he found such clothes. He pointed them out. "So, who's are those?" he asked calmly.

Selene shrugged, "Damned if I know. You want to wear THOSE home, be my guest."

Matt sniffed disdainfully. If Selene was lying, she was good at it. But if at first you don't suceed, you try again. "Nah," Matt replied, waving the expensive clothes off. "They're a little too butch for my tastes. Not to mention tacky. I know you wouldn't be caught dead in something like that!"

Matt couldn't be more obvious if he tried. He'd have to work quite a bit harder to put one over on a seasoned trickster like Selene. Turning her head nonchalantly, Selene commented far louder than she needed to, "Well, I guess that explains a lot. You're one of those sorts of men. The fashionable kind." She turned back to Matt offering a fake-reassuring pat, "Oh, not that there's anything wrong with that. Not at all. Some of my best friends are... of that persuasion." She gave him a wink before looking up and rubbing her chin thoughtfully, "Cattier than most women I know though..." Turning back to Matt, she continued, "I do wonder why you would choose to enter a federation where you would only find yourself likely to wrestle women in that case."

If someone were to lean closer, they would have heard Matt grinding his teeth. "Hehe....funny," he growled. He wasn't going to win a battle of minds with Selene for one simple reason: he was unarmed.

Screw it. Matt wasn't one to beat around the bush. Time for the direct approach. Matt stood up, and looked her straight in the eye. "Selene," he whispered, keeping his emotions in check. "Did you take my clothes?"
