Winter...

So the next city over got seven feet of snow yesterday. Meanwhile, we got two inches.

We're usually the two inches place though, thankfully.

It irks me when people who live in warmer climates "romanticize" snow, when all it reminds me of is shoveling out my car...over..and over...

It hardly ever snows where I live - it's nestled in a valley between some higher hills and seems to be in that sweet spot where places a few miles out will still get snow, but we get freezing rain and slush instead.

The best part is all of the idiots who drive around as if the snow didn't actually exist. There's nothing more exciting then watching the car in front of you suddenly go into a 360 before flying into the ditch.

Cali's still in a fucking drought. We don't get rain for shit.

I used to think snow was fun. Until it made my job shutdown, stranded me at work, and left me waiting at a gas station for five hours.
