Makie Akamatsu vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Let's You and Him Fight, Part 2

Had Army been out on the floor much in his wrestling career? Not too many times. The match with Jackie came to mind, but that was a No DQ right from the start. This was a little different - ten, long seconds to work Makie over on the outside before he had to drag her back into the ring and finish her off.

"1!"

The referee was starting the slow count, urging them to get back into the ring. Army rose up, but Makie beat him to the punch...or the kick, in this case, as she brought her foot down into his spine and stomped him hard with what little weight she had to offer.

"Fuck!" Army cried out, as he was dropped flat on his stomach. He didn't find the stomps argument to make him stay down too convincing, and a hot second passed before he was starting to get back up again. He looked back at Makie with a glare as he did. "Cheap shot!"

"2!"

Army, figuratively speaking, didn't take the blow to the back lying down. In a few seconds, he was pushing himself back upright, hurting but still in the fight. Makie frowned as he protested her rough treatment. "If you want me to kick your ass standing up, then fine, let's do that," she retorted. So saying, she would grab a hold of Army's hair and yank him up, before grabbing him by the arm for support. From there, she break into a running charge to ram Army face-first into the corner post!

"3!" the ref girl called. Around them, the crowd was roaring now. There had visibly been bad blood between Makie and Army from the start, and what had begun as a controlled match was now turning into a ringside brawl.

Huh. Army had been wondering how long it would take before someone grabbed his hair in the ring. Really, he was surprised it took this long.

For such a small lady, Makie had a surprisingly good grip, and if you just judged by the way she lifted Army up, you might think she was a lot closer to his strength than she really was. She got him up and made him move forward, trying to plant him, face first, in the nearest pole. It would've been a mean blow. If he'd taken it.

Instead, Army got his arm up and grabbed the pole before he could hit, stopping the impact with only half a second to spare. He jerked back fast and tried to hit Makie with a harsh elbow in the side, hoping that would be enough incentive to make her back off.

Truth to be told, Makie found lugging Army around by the hair a lot harder than she expected-- in part because of his weight, and in part because his short hair length didn't leave her much to grab. Even so, she still managed to haul him up (after some effort), break into a run, and ram him head-first into the corner post.

Or rather, she managed the first part. To her surprise, Army's arms shot out, bracing himself against the impact, before his elbow drove itself hard into Makie's abs. "UUUGH!" Makie gasped, the blow sending her doubling over onto her knees. Her arms wrapped around her midsection as she clenched her teeth, hurting and angry at having been caught by surprise like that. "Nngh...s-son of a..."

"5!

"Bitch." Army spat off to the side. "That the word you're looking for?"

So. Okay. It was becoming rapidly apparent that Makie had no reservations about royally fucking Army's shit up. He was fine with that. His original plan didn't have things getting this hardcore, but it she wanted to play that rough, the kid gloves would come off.

Army got back to his feet and and turned around, towering over her while she reeled from the blow. He decided it was time she got her hair pulled, and he grabbed a handful with both hands. His attack here was simple - he twisted around and threw her hard into the side of the ring, hoping to get some good damage into her back.

"Egh...nnngh..." was all Makie managed to say in reply as she breathed through clenched teeth. She wanted to make some witty retort about how it took one to know one, or how it was no wonder he couldn't get a date if this was the only female word he knew. Her urge to retort was put on hold, either way, as Army yanked at her hair, causing her scalp to burn. Maybe, Makie admitted to herself, she had started a bad precedent there.

She balled a fist, and tried to punch back. She never even got close to the try part, though, as Army unceremoniously threw her against the side of the ring. Her body arched from the impact, and a silent scream erupted from Makie's mouth as she slumped to her butt against the ringside, her spine now a grinding mass of agony.

"Six!"

Army had a choice, here. He could win pretty easily at this point, really - just roll into the ring and wait for Makie to get counted out. She was hurt pretty bad, only had about four seconds to go, and was pretty wide open. All it would take was a good punch for insurance, and there was no way she was making it back in before the referee got to ten.

That would be the smart thing. It would also be extremely lame, and know Makie, she'd never stop giving him shit over it. No, if he was going to win, it would have to be a real. No count-out crap.

Army reached down and grabbed her by the wrist, forcing her to stand up straight, just for a second. He bent down, hauled her up in a fireman's carry, then threw her back in the ring to break the count. He rolled in right behind her and started to get back up, eager to start this thing down the home stretch. He was predicting a powerbomb in Makie's immediate future.

Lying slumped against the ringside, there wasn't much that Makie could do-- at least, not with her back in the intense pain it was in. Breathing lightly, she opened one eye, and saw Army towering over her. She tensed, waiting for the inevitable follow-up now that she was vulnerable.

But instead of taking the time to pummel her further, Army instead reached to pull her up. Makie groaned, still too badly hurting to move, and braced herself as Army hoisted her up onto his shoulders. At first, Makie thought he was setting her up for a powerbomb or something similar, but to her surprise, she was instead rolled unceremoniously into the ring. Right...countdown... she thought wearily was she rolled onto her back. Her chest rose and fell as she sucked in air, her fans chanting her name as they urged her to get back up.

Army had a job, and when you got right down to it, it was a pretty simple one: beat the girl in the ring. And he had a good idea on how to make that happen, too.

He grabbed the ropes and pulled his way back up to the apron, getting a good grip as Makie settled onto her back. it was a good position, and there was a good move for it that he was itching to try. Risky, yeah, but he was feeling it, and it wouldn't matter how much her fans chanted. If he landed this, she wouldn't be getting up soon. Not soon enough.

Army pulled back on the rope, jumped up  high over the top, and tried to come down on Makie with a leg drop,  bringing his weight crashing down on her chest.

Makie's chest rose and fell as she lay in the ring, her back continuing to throb dully. Around her, the crowd was going wild, but she was no longer sure whether they were cheering for her or for Army. She heard some individual voices on the crowd chanting her name, and some saying something about the rope.  Maybe that earlier punch had hurt her head harder than she thought. Groaning,she shook her head, willing herself to move...

...and saw Army, poised on the rope. Her eyes widening, and somehow, she found the strength to move just as Army launched himself at her. Groaning, she flung herself to the side, hoping, against all hope, to avoid Army's elbow drop.
