SS 15 Falls Count Anywhere: River Styx Vs. Angel

Angel couldn't do a damn thing to stop Styx's punch. She was wide open, and completely defenseless. She didn't even have time to react, the Latina feeling time slow as she lowered her gaze, just in time to watch River's punch come driving towards her.

Then it connected, and time began to resume once more for the Latina.

Styx's fist easily found it's mark. It slammed into Angel's face, re-opening the wound of her busted nose from earlier in the match. Her head snapped backwards again, and this time Angel simply dropped, the former champion falling backwards, ending on on her back, lying at the feet of the bigger, angrier, (and suddenly very much in control) woman, blood leaking out from her nose one more, her eyes closed and her head thoughts clouded.

The cameraman started to move in, trying to get a decent angle on Angel as their fallen hero laid on the ground. He stopped when he saw Styx moving in front of him and backed up, giving her some space. Probably remembering whant happened the last time he was in her arms reached.

He didn't have anything to worry about, though. Styx was all about business, now, and while she had enough presence of mind to realize she should've been going in for a pin, she was still vindictive enough that she wouldn't do it gently.

She made her way over to the fallen Angel, stood over her her waist, and then dropped her knee right on the former champion's chest, letting all of her weight come down in the center. Bound to hurt like crazy, but more importantly, it would pin Angel's shoulders down. The referee was quite eager to come over and start the count.

"1...!"

Angel jerked, her body trembling as Styx's knee smashed into her chest. Her head rolled to the side, and as far as anyone in the crowd could tell, she was done for...

"Two...!"

...except that she wasn't.

As the referee's hand dropped towards the cement for the third and final count, the Latina's body jerked upwards, twisting a shoulder into the air, just enough to break the pin. Then, it dropped back down again, the Latina going still once more.

Somewhere, deep down, Styx knew it wouldn't be that easy, but she'd hoped that Angel wouldn't be stupid enough to kick out. Apparently the pain and head trauma were affecting her reasoning skills, because she couldn't seem to realize how stupid it was to prolong her suffering.

If, at first, you don't succeed...

"Fine. Fine." Styx reached down and grabbed onto Angel's hair, using it for a convenient handhold as she stood up, forcing the former champion back to her feet. The referee started to call for her to let go, but she needn't have bothered - that was exactly what Styx did. Granted, she only let go so she could wrap her arms around Angel's chest and pulled her into a bearhug, but she did let go of the hair-hold.

Fuck. Fuuuuck. It was the only thing that Angel could think when she felt Styx's hand tightening around her hair, forcing her up to her feet once again. She was done for. She could sense it. She had barely managed to turn things around, and now Styx had suddenly flipped the entire thing back around on her.

And she knew, she knew, that the worst was yet to come.

Her fears were justified, as she felt Styx wrap her arms around her chest. Before the bearhug was even fully locked in, Angel began to howl, her already pained body knowing what was to come. She clenched her eyes shut, her breath quickening to a sharp pace, and when Styx's steel cable like arms began to fully constrict around her, squeezing the very life out of her body, all the Latina could do was scream, shivering in the woman's brutal, life-draining hold.

Submissions weren't typically Styx's style - too slow, too technical, too pretty for her rough taste. She would've preferred just throwing punches instead of working someone over that way - but Angel was a special case. Styx took quite a bit of pleasure out of squeezing her tight body, and the banshee wail she made was delicious.

Of course, there was no way Angel was going to tap, not when all of her fans were watching and she had that precious image to maintain. That was fine, Styx wasn't doing this to make her give up. She just needed to get into a certain position.

Styx looked over shoulder, then took a few steps to the left, gripping Angel tighter and tighter every bit of the way. As soon as she was in the right spot, she lifted the former champion up, arched her back, and sent her flying onto the hood of nearby car with the best German Suplex her aching body could pull off."Fly!"

Angel's body writhed within Styx's tight, crushing bearhug, the Latina completely trapped, and unable to move. She tried to wiggle, tried to squirm, tried to think of a way to free herself, but she couldn't handle it. She was already hurting enough, and the feeling of Styx's monstrous arms literally squeezing the life out of her was just making it even worse for her.

She was almost relieved, when she felt Styx lift her higher, tossing her through the air with the suplex. It was short lived relief though, as her body slammed into the hood of the car. Angel screamed out again, and then went limp once more, unmoving as she lay upon the cold and freshly dented metal of the car.

Styx may have put a little too much force into that throw. She stumbled back right after she sent Angel flying, and if the car hadn't been close to her back, she would've fallen flat. It was just another harsh reminder of how much this match was wearing on her, and how she would be wise to finish Angel before she could make another comeback.

"Almost done." Styx turned to Angel and made her way around the car, grabbing her by the ankle as soon as she was close enough. She yanked her limp body off the hood like a piece of trash, let her fall on the harsh concrete, and then dropped down to hook the leg for the pin.

The referee fell to her knees and slapped the cement as softly as she could without botching the count. "1...!"

Angel dropped onto the concrete, her body jerking as it hit the hard ground, and she groaned as Styx slid onto her body. "Two...!" The referee cried, but as she raised her hand to call the third and final count, the impossible happened.

Angel kicked out again.

Her shoulder jerked up, breaking the pin, but quickly fell back to the ground, and once again, Angel went still beneath Styx's body.

They were underground, separated by hundreds of feet of concrete and metal, and Styx still swore she could hear the crowd going wild when Angel kicked out.

"What the fuck?" Styx sat up and ran a hand through her nonexistant hairs. She looked at Angel, watched her limp body, as her mind went through the phases - shock, confusion, deseperation, and finally rage.

"Are you fucking stupid, bitch?" Styx reached over and wrapped a single hand around the former champion's neck, squeezing it with a straight choke. "There's no title here, I got nothing, so stay down." She got in Angel's face, letting the spittle fly all over her. "Just. Give. Up."
