Beer and Sympathy

"Yeah, totally. I'm in Tokyo all the time, I'll look you up when I've got a spare night and junk."

She didn't think it was THAT surprising that Angel and her could have a good time together. When Angel wasn't being a cunt and sucker punching Taylor out of jealousy or whatever, she figured they got along just fine. Whatever. She was getting a headache, and she touched her fingers to the bridge of her nose.

"So, like..." She began. "So do I not..."

She stopped again and shook her head. "Whatever. So I'm this way, I'll just walk back to mom's house, maybe rile up the girls before I crash. Thanks for coming out, man, I'll see you later?" She said, pointing off in the direction of Junko's house.

"Yeah. I'll catch you around, chica," Angel answered, gesturing back in the other direction. "I'm this way, so...guess I'll see you at work, or something." She started to turn, to take her leave, then stopped, turning back towards Taylor again.

"Hey. Be careful on the way home, alright? It's late, and you know how the city can get at night."

Then, she flashed Taylor her usual wide grin, and gave her a wave, turning back away to start heading down the sidewalk, in the direction of her own place. She was starting to feel a little tired, and had a lot on her mind now, but she was happy. She had needed a nice, peaceful night like this, and in the end, it turned out a lot better then she had hoped.
