Tension 24/7 Title Match: Carmen Rodriguez(C) Vs. Clyde Gastin

Carmen felt a chill run down her spine when Clyde grabbed her ankles, getting an uncomfortable sense of deja vu. She'd been here before, got trapped in this position. Last time they fought, she wound up tapping after he'd locked the sharpshooter in, giving her one of the most excruciating experiences of her entire life. This time, though, there wouldn't be any ropes to crawl towards, no way to escape, no hope. He could just lock it in, hold it, and wait for the belt to come back to him. It would just be a matter of time.

As soon as he got a good grip on her ankles, Carmen pulled her legs in, yanked Clyde towards her, and unloaded a right hook into the side of his head, lashing out fast and hard. She wouldn't be able to get the full force into it from this position, but a decent shot to the face would at least give him some incentive to back off.

Clyde went for the sharpshooter and struggled with Carmen to keep her still so he could lock it in. But her resistance was too much and the cowboy was pulled in by her legs to meet a fierce right hook that blasted him across his face!

"GUH..!" Spit and sweat flew as Carmen turned Clyde's head side ways with a violent whip, earning a blank glossy stare in his eyes as he stumbled back.

Get up. Now.

Clyde was stunned, but he wouldn't stay that way for long, and Carmen was going to get the most out of her window. She willed her body to get up, fighting past the pain and ignoring a few splinters that had dug into her back. She sprung up out of the crouch position with a single burst, turning into a red and black blur as she charged towards Clyde. Carmen raised up, brought her arm out, and swung it hard right into the Lone Star's million dollar face, hitting him with a commanding lariat that had a lot of body weight and momentum backing it up. "Going down!"

Still staggering back with a glossy look in his eyes, Clyde didn't see this black and red blur until it was way too late.

Next thing Clyde knew, he was tasting Carmen's forearm or bicep. He couldn't tell.

"--PKK!" A sound emitted from his mouth as he was clobbered, being knocked right off his feet and turned inside out as he fell hard to the floor on the top of his shoulders, his legs high in the air before he flopped to the floor with a limp bounce, landing right on his stomach, the cries of the crowd through the screen howling as they witnessed the powerful boxer decapitate the wily cowboy.

The lariat was really more Army's style, but Carmen had learned to pull off a good one as well. If Clyde had the wherewithall to form full sentences, he'd likely agree.

She staggered back after the mighty blow connected, leaning back against a wall for support and getting a perfect view of Clyde's wrecked body. The referee started to come over, checking to make sure he was still conscious, but Carmen shooed her away. He was awake, she could tell. Just not for much longer.

She moved over to his feet as he laid on his stomach and reached down, wrapping her arms around his stomach from behind. She pulled him up, just enough for his back to rest against her chest, as she planted her feet down firmly.

Muscles tense. Deep breath.

"Going up!"Carmen jerked up and summoned all her power to deadlift Clyde straight off the ground with a snapping German Suplex, releasing it in mid arc to send his body hurtling towards the computer desk.

"F-Fuck..." Clyde groaned against the wood floor with a bit of blood seeping from his lower lip, clawing at the floor before he felt a pair of strong arms snake around his waist, his foe's body against his back. His eyes would widen, knowing he was screwed.

"Going up!" was all he heard before he was taken off the floor, lifted up and flung into the hard desk, the dull thud and crash of his body smashing into the furniture as the desk toppled and cracked underneath him, flopping against the rubble of the desk, sprawled out on his stomach over a pile of busted wood.

While 24/7 matches weren't the sort of thing Carmen had gotten into the AFW to do, she had to admit that she was starting to see the charm behind them. There was something surreally satisfying about sending Clyde flying, incuring thousands and thousands of dollars of property damage in only a few seconds, and having the crowd roar and cheered her on. It was as far from a boxing match as you could get, but maybe that was the charm. A great change of pace.

She stood up just in time to see the referee scrambling past her, hurriedly trying to stay out of the path of destruction with the limited space she had. Carmen walked past her and went back to Clyde, immediately renewing the assualt - she got a little running start, jumped high above him, kicked her legs out and came down towards his back with her own, looking to squash him flat on the floor with a senton splash.

His feet rested against the wall while most of his body was atop of the desk wreckage but following the lariat and the suplex, Clyde was as wrecked as the desk and had nowhere to go when Carmen came running.

"OUUGH!!" He cried out as Carmen's weight just slammed suddenly into his back, flattening him against the rubble as the air was driven right out of his lungs in an instant before he slumped against the floor, sucking for air.

"Impacto!" Carmen cried out as she crashed onto Clyde's back.

"Impacto!" The crowd mimicked her, doing a good job of capturing her accent along with it.

Carmen immediately flipped over to her chest after the thunderous hit, facing Clyde's withering body from her hands and knees. She pushed at his chest from the side, forced him to roll over, then straddled his stomach and pushed down on his shoulders with both hands. "Ref!" She leaned on him and pressed hard, putting her weight behind it.

The referee scrambled over and dropped down for the count, as the crowd followed along with only a split-second delay.

"1...!"

Clyde flopped over when Carmen pushed him over and was easily pinned, he grunted as he felt her weight on his stomach and her cry for the ref, not far from his ear.

"TWO!" cried the ref as her hand hit the floor before Clyde, with closed eyes and grit teeth, gave it his all to lift up his shoulder to the side while digging his fingers into Carmen's hair, trying to pull her head up before yanking her back down to meet his.

Attempting to give Carmen a furious headbutt.
