Tension 24/7 Title Match: Carmen Rodriguez(C) Vs. Clyde Gastin

Clyde's eye twitched when he heard what Army had to say. It only fueled the fire when he put all his weight and effort into the clothesline to send Army over the tanning bed.

"EVERY. GODDAMN. DAY!" Clyde yelled down at Army, going over to try and heave him up by a handful of his hair while Clyde reared his fist back and tried to slung Army across the face as hard as he could.

Army was just getting back up and starting to recover, when Clyde came along and helped him - sort of. He groaned as his hair was tugged hard, and he found himself on the receiving end of a punch from the cowboy. Good force behind it. Nice speed. It had strong enough to knock Army's head to the side, numbed up his jaw a bit. Considering the blow came from someone several weight classes below him, there was some real power.

But, well...Army was no stranger to taking punches. Or dishing them out.

He took the blow, lurched to the side for a scant moment, then swung back around and fired at Clyde with a version of the same punch he'd throw himself - only this one was harder, came from a bigger and darker fist, and was delivered by a guy who'd been perfecting it his entire life.

Belle swung and hit nothing, the chair reverberating in her hands as she was stunned for a moment. Well, whatever. She'd get Carmen next time! or so she thought until she felt a fist crash into the back of her head.

"Guuuuh!"

Her eyes bulged and she dropped the chair, stumbling forward and leaning against the counter. One hand arched up and rubbed the back of her head as she leaned against the counter. She turned and looked back at Carmen, her hair obscuring everything but a hateful look in her eye.

Carmen looked back at Belle with every bit of the same venom she had. The only difference was that her scowl was partly concealed by a pair of fists, as she brought up a tight guard and moved into her orthdox stance. "Get used to it."

Her movements were economical - Carmen didn't move in any direction she didn't have to, she didn't waste any time with a step she didn't need. Everything her body did had a purpose, as she moved along the floor with a practiced rhythm, gliding over the floor and staying light.

She did a quick slide to the side, then jerked forward and fired off two jabs, one at Belle's face, the other at her chest, rattling them with a surgeon's precision and lightning's speed.

Belle saw Carmen pull up her guard and come at her. Belle was no boxer, but she knew it when she saw it and as much as she'd like to try and get into a punch up with Carmen, she wasn't stupid. That wasn't her kind of fight at all.

Belle threw up her arms to try and block the jabs as she stumbled backwards away from Carmen. As long as she could protect her face, she was sure she could endure, but the hard punch to her big, exposed tit, definitely made her yelp.

"Fffffffuck!"

She shouted and threw herself backward, crashing into the opposite counter as she threw her arm backwards and reached for whatever she could grab hold of and swung it at Carmen.

As much as Carmen tried to fight it, there was a little bit of Army in her, and it came out as she moved in after Belle. "Going somewhere?" She mimicked Belle's Southern twang as best as she could. "Not having fun anymore, huh?"

She came after Belle, staying close, but that came with a price. When the cowgirl grabbed a pot and swung it at Carmen's side, there wasn't enough time to duck the wild blow - instead she raised her shoulder, tucked under her guard, let it hit her arm. Better than taking a shot in the skull? Yes. But not by a whole lot.

"God!" Carmen roared as every muscle in her upper arm came to life with pure agony. That hit felt like it touched the bone, made her tingle all the way down to her fingers. She could barely keep it up, much less throw punches with it, but she still had her right arm. That would have to do.

She stood her ground, knowing that Belle would just roll over her if she didn't, and struck back with an overhand right as she ducked down - a long, arching punch, designed to come up over Belle's guard and smash her right in the face. One of her father's specialties, and if he ever bothered to watch this match, he'd likely be proud.

When Clyde struck Army, he was already rearing back for another before the boxer tried to check him.

At the last second, Clyde brought his free arm up in front of his face and turned as Army's big fist came towards him, the blow blasting him in the side of the temple. It wasn't a direct hit and even then, a punch from the two hundred pound boxer had Clyde's head whipping back while he stumbled and fell to the floor. Kicking his legs about violently as his skull burned.

Belle retracted the pot as she continued to retreat. it was a good weapon to have, but with Carmen in full boxing mode, she knew that she couldn't swing it without taking another punch or two and if she didn't bean Carmen on the head, it wasn't that useful.

Still, she kept her eyes focused on Carmen as she slowly shuffled backwards. "Still am..." She muttered and gripped the pot. It was true. Belle liked to have fun and she liked to tease and cheat and ambush, but she liked serious fights too, even if she wasn't smiling anymore. She definitely liked a little bit of pain, but not the kind Carmen was looking to give her, that was for sure.

When Carmen aimed at her, Belle knew the pot was good for one thing and that was as a shield. As Carmen came in from what was no doubt a rather vicious and painful punch, Belle brought the pot up, hoping to put it right in the path of the Latina. She held it tightly and clenched her teeth.

Clyde managed to block Army's punch at the last moment, but this wasn't like a videogame, where blocking just meant you took some chip damage and kept on going in. Even dulled, the blow had enough power to send the cowboy off his feet. A very refreshing sight to see. "Yeah." Army rubbed his chest as he watched Clyde kicking around at the pain. "Sucks, I know."

Army stumbled a bit on hsi way to Clyde, still a little woozy from the tumble he'd taken, but stil good enough to fight. "You look stressed, man." He reached down, grabbing the cowboy by the ankle. "Maybe this'll help."

Army lunged to the side, slid Clyde along the floor, and tried to dump him right into the jacuzzi. Strategy, keeping him off his game. Also, he would find it extremely funny.

It was around this time, when Carmen threw a punch at Belle and wound up smacking her fist on a pot instead, that she realized the 247 Belt was going to be an extremely painful thing to hold onto. It had always occurred to her on some level, but as she felt her knuckles cracked and the pain traveled up her forearm, the point really sunk in.

She held back another scream - she'd done enough of that for Belle already - as she automatically recoiled from the hit. Carmen took a step back, almost started to retreat, but she stopped herself at the last moment. She had to keep the cowgirl on the defensive, at all costs. Not just for the belt, but for her own health and future.

Carmen ducked down, looking like she might be succumbing to the accumulated damage, but instead she threw her everything into a sudden surge and burst forward, trying to tackle Belle at the waist and carry her all the way into a nearby closet.

There we go!

Belle's eyes lit up when she felt the reverberations of Carmen's fist hitting the pot. That's what Carmen got for thinking she could just punch everything like a dummy.

The rest, for Belle, was easy. With Carmen hunched over the cowgirl just had to beat the Latina unconscious and take her belt. However, as Belle lifted up the pot, she was caught off guard by Carmen's sudden surge and driven into the utility closet.

"Oooof-what the?!"
