Stitches

Mercy opened her mouth to speak. It seemed like Brittany was pretty happy with what she did to Clyde, saying she didn't regret it one bit. That made the pink haired girl furious but Brittany didn't stop and Mercy shut her mouth, listening to everything the blonde said. She was even a little stunned when Brittany apologized, but it made Mercy feel like she hadn't been fooled by Brittany and that she had truly wanted to change.

"Ok, well..." Mercy said, lowering her head. "I accept your apology and I appreciate it. It means a lot, actually." Mercy said with a smile as she looked at Brittany but shook her head when she thought about what the viper had said about Taylor. "You know..." She said, tilting turning and looking towards another rack of clothes. "You say I'm obsessed with Clyde, but maybe you think about Taylor a little too much too. It's not healthy."

Mercy flipped through the racks. "I know you want to beat her, but I can't help you with that and do you really think everything's going to be better even if you did?" mercy asked. "I mean, isn't this all a bit Captain Ahab-y of you?" Mercy asked casually and then shrugged, pulling out a sleeveless top trimmed in gold.

Mercy held it up for Brittany to see. it was classy and Mercy liked it way more than the dumb scales. "But, uh, Brittany..." She said a bit nervously. "I think one of these days you should probably apologize to Clyde too..." She was scared to say the words, but she knew she had to. "It would be a big step for you, like, really big."

Brittany let out a sigh as Mercy told her that she obsessed over Taylor. "You may be right. Taylor has been on my mind lately but i just can't stop now. I will beat her and after that i will work calm down." Brittany said as her hatred of Taylor had been keeping her going for a long time. "But why should i apologize to Clyde? I am sure he enjoyed what i did to him." Brittany said as she looked at what Mercy held up.

"Go try that on. I want to see how it looks on you." Brittany said as she thought about what Mercy said. "How about i make a deal with you. If you do your job right and impress me. I will apologize to Clyde." Brittany said as she figured it would make her new manager happy.

"I don't think that's quite how it works." Mercy said as she began to unbutton her suitcoat and yanked off her tie, folding both up nicely and setting them on the table. Mercy just shook her head at the rest. "When's the last time someone kidnapped and raped you, huh?" Mercy practically growled. "The experience isn't fun just because the people involved might happen to be hot."

Mercy began to unbutton her dress shirt and folded it up, leaving her in a modest black bra. "I would tell you to try it sometime, but I wouldn't wish that even on you. And I shouldn't have to bargain with you either, Brit." Mercy insisted as she pulled over the shirt and wriggled into it.

"It's just something you should do because now you're a decent human being instead of a terrible ho. And, for the record, I plan on doing my best no matter what. Whether or not there's something on the line aside from providing you a service." Mercy held out her arms and posed for Brittany. She kind of liked it, actually. It was pretty fancy.

"So... what the heck actually happened between you and Morgan?" Mercy asked almost casually. "Since you know all about my ex... now..."

Brittany watched as Mercy stripped before placing on her knew outfit. "Hmmm, it looks marvelous on you." Brittany said as she would walk around Mercy before stopping behind her and placing her hands on Mercy's shoulder. Brittany would lean in so she could talk in Mercy's ear. "You have such a nice body. You need to show it off more."

Brittany would then step away from Mercy before letting out a sigh. "What happened between me and Morgan isn't something i like to talk about. Let's just say that i had a drinking problem and i did some really stupid things." Brittany said before moving in front of Mercy again. "Also fine, i will apologize to Clyde. But you have to set up the meeting and i will only do it once."

Mercy shivered at the touch and compliment, turning her head to eye Brittany from her peripheral. Her cheeks flushed, but she knew what kind of honeyed words Brittany could speak. She'd felt a touch like hers before even if she might sincerely mean what she was saying.

"I show it off plenty. I don't mind being noticed, but I don't want everyone looking at me. At least, not out in the arena..." She knew what kind of people filled the stands.

Despite the touch, though, Mercy was surprised by Brittany's words. She never would have expected for the girl to admit being at fault even if she was. "Tell me you still don't have a drinking problem?" Mercy said and eyed Brittany. "That's a pretty important thing to tell someone. Not to mention it doesn't go very well with having an anger problem either." Mercy shook her head. "I hope there's no other 'problems' I don't know about either. I was promised a cherry, I don't want to suddenly find out I got stuck with a lemon." She said and shook her head.

"But... you should only have to apologize once if you actually mean it. I'll call him... at some point in time..." She said, lowering her head. "I'm sure he'll get tired of waiting and call me about that date I promised." Mercy sighed. "Well, that might not be a good place to bring it up..." She admitted. "He doesn't even know I'm working for you. I'm sure he wouldn't approve. It was bad enough with Taylor, I don't need everyone telling me what a bad idea this was." She said, furrowing her brow. She then looked down.

"I guess I do like this though. I just need some bottoms for it now!" She said with a bit of a chipper tone and began fishing through the clothes again.

Brittany just laughed as Mercy asked her if she still had a drinking problem. "No, i stopped drinking after that night. A lot happened because of it. I lost Morgan and that was the night Kelly asked me to join her." Brittany felt a shiver go up her spine at the mention of Kelly. "I think that was the worst decision i have ever made. But i cannot say that nothing good didn't come out of it. I met Karisma thanks to Kelly." Brittany said before she looked at Mercy.

"You promised him a date? I thought you didn't want to date him?" Brittany said as she eyed Mercy closely. "And of course people will say this is a bad idea. They still see the old me, the ugly me. They don't now about how i have changed." Brittany said as she would run her hands through her hair while pushing out her chest to show off her body. "Not many people know the new beautiful me." Brittany said as she would look at Mercy with a smile on her lips.

"What?" Mercy raised an eyebrow. "A date and dating aren't the same. We're just going to go to the club and he'll probably try and touch my butt a lot while I dance. It's not..." Mercy sighed. She wasn't exactly psyching herself up for it.

Mercy began sifting through some of the gold trimmed patterns while she spoke. "So... I guess that's good that you found someone." She said. "And, she is really pretty..." Mercy shrugged. "But, why didn't you try and work things out with Morg if you knew you messed things up?" She asked. "I mean, not that I'm trying to get you two back together or anything. I guess Karisma has had a good affect on you if anything..."

Even mercy was surprised. She really didn't know much about Karisma other than she thought pretty highly of herself and Taylor kicked her ass once, but the more Brittany talked, the more earnest she seemed about changing her ways.

Brittany let out a sigh as Mercy suggested she patch things up with Morgan. "I would try but the last time we met, let's just say things didn't go to well." Brittany said as she remembered how their last meeting went and the anger Brittany felt at herself after Morgan left. "Also she and Taylor are usually always together. And i don't want to deal with that." Brittany said as she watched Mercy look through pants.

"Yeah, Karisma is great. If not a bit harsh when it comes to training." Brittany said as Karisma was not one to mince words when it came to Brittany and her failures. "But if is wasn't for her i would still be with Kelly and you would be out of a job." Brittany said as she looked Mercy up and down. "And i can't blame Clyde for wanting to touch your butt. It is very nice." Brittany said whit a laugh.

Mercy pulled out a gold trimmed skirt and held it up to her waist, checking it out and comparing it with the shirt she was wearing. it seemed to match. "Well, that's great, but I probably wouldn't still be out of a job... I'm pretty resourceful. I was on my way to get a job when you offered me a position." She said, trying to hide a blush from Brittany's other words.

"My butt is awesome, but you can't touch it." She said and set the skirt down and unzipped her pants, stepping out of them and grabbing the skirt, bending over as if to prove to Brittany how awesome it was as she hiked the skirt up her legs and began to adjust it.

"But, I guess I can understand all that. Still... you went to her parties... so it doesn't seem like it's ALL bad. Maybe you're jealous of Taylor? She does have her shit together. Or maybe you like her and don't know how to show it?" Mercy said. "Creepier stuff happens around here, that's for sure." Her tone was rather sterile, as if she was just making an observation, rather than judging the blonde.

"Anyway, does this match? How does it look?"

Brittany watched as Mercy taunted her with her butt while trying on her skirt. Brittany was about to say something when Mercy mentioned Taylor and Brittany relationship towards her. Brittany gritted teeth as she clenched her hands into fists. Brittany's knuckles would start to turn white as Brittany tried to calm herself down.

After Mercy finished trying on the skirt Brittany manged to speak. "Yeah, it matches and it looks great." Brittany said as she tried to control her breathing "I think we should change the subject." Brittany said as she didn't want to flip out on Mercy but it was getting hard for her not to. "Let us talk about business."
