Aiyana Strongbow vs Kyoko Akan

The piercing cry of an eagle sings out in the arena followed by low chanting and the beat of a hide drum as Aiyana Strongbow enters the friction arena for the first time. She feel's the fresh white and blue warpaint on her cheeks and arms warm under the lights. Beneath her painted on exterior truth is she feels nervous as hell, sure she’s competed in front of big crowds countless times before. But she's never felt an energy anything like this crowd and she's certainly never done anything like this before. She reaches the ring as the pace of the music increases and takes a moment on the apron to flex feeling the power in her strong base and toned core. These nerves are pointless none of these girls can match her strength or athleticism.
She exhales a deep breath then swings under the top rope stomping the canvas while doing circles with her shoulders to get the blood pumping and bring her mind into the present… here goes nothing.

Vapor rock played throughout the arena and the crowd began their cheers and boos as Kyoko Akan appeared on the entrance stage. She wasn't able to get any information on her opponent as she had no record in AFW and was new, while this left her unable to scout her opponent at all she was still confident she would win. Kyoko did her usual strut to the ring, hands on her hips in away to show off her prominent abs as she did so.

Kyoko eyed up her opponent as she entered the ring, she was well built and looked tough but she would be the judge of that soon enough. "The names Kyoko Akan. I understand your new here but don't think I'll insult you by going easy, I'm prepared to bring my best as you should be. Let's have a good match."

Aiyana eyed her opponent while bouncing from toe to toe. The young blue haired woman before her seemed possessed of an unassuming confidence as she congenially extended a simple greeting.
"Aiyana Strongbow" was the only terse reply, the intense focus showing on her painted face. She waited like a caged buffalo for the bell to sound when she would charge towards her opponent trying to push her back into the corner.

Kyoko raised an eyebrow at her simply reply. "woman of few words are you?" Kyoko said, she didn't care, if she wanted to talk she would and if not she couldn't stop her. Instead she focused on a strategy. What exactly would she be planning, if it was anything like her debut, she'd try and make an impression, fast.

She got her answer once the bell rang, and Aiyana charged her like a rhino. Kyoko gasped and and moved out of her incoming path, flashbacks of her own match where she was rushed and taken down and she wasn't about to get dropped so fast again.

Aiyana's opponent dashed aside as she ran headlong into the turnbuckle snaping her head back with the impact, she felt the wet ends of her long black braids slap dully off her muscular back.

Kyoko was glad she hadn't been careless with this girl, is she was so eager to get her she was probably had a plan in mind but now that she was out of danger it was now imperative to get in control.

Running after her Kyoko would jump in the air and go for a dropkick. If she hit she could knock her into the ropes and really get in control.

Aiyana had no time to think or collect herself before her opponent's feet slammed hard into her abs doubling her over and sending her careening backwards into the ropes.

Kyoko felt her feet land into her opponents gut and sending her into the ropes, Kyoko got to her feet and looked at her opponent. She was doubled and leaning against them to try and stay up and off the floor.

Kyoko moved in and lifted her opponent to her feet. "Lets see how tough your gut is." Kyoko would say and pull her leg back before driving it forward, driving it into her belly.

Aiyana’s stomach stung from the dropkick as she tryed to gulp in a full breath of air. Kyoko raised her head up pushing her back onto the ropes then challenged her before leveling a knee at her midsection. Aiyana flexed her abs preparing for the impact but still felt the strike drive into her core, bruising taught muscles.

This was more than she’d anticipated, hell she diden’t know exactly what she’d expected when she signed up for this, that was part of the allure a new challenge to undertake, a new contest to dedicate herself to. She was used to hard work, loved hard work. The sound of weights clacking against cold steel, the fiery burn of exhausted muscles being pushed to the limit of exertion, one more excruciating rep at high weight, and then one more. But this pain was different it offered no promise of improvement, just the galing, taunting sting of…
"Ahhhhh!”
A raw shriek burst from her lungs as Aiyana hurled herself forwards off the ropes with a wild haymaker seeing only the vivid red of fury.

Kyoko was able to successfully lift her opponent off the ground and drove her knee into her stomach. Her response was immediate, despite her obvious efforts to tighten her abs she still collapsed clutching her gut, Kyoko confidently felt In control as she tried to bring her back up to continue.

However Aiyana let out a yell and charged forward catching Kyoko with an uppercut on her chin. "Aoogh" Kyoko's head flings backwards and she stumbles around struggling to stay up. The punch hit with authority and she could barely see what was going on in front of her.
