Contendership Round 2: Akashi Tanikaze Vs. Shanari Drackanov

Akashi let go of Shanari's wrist when she felt her knee bury into the russian's stomach. She then reached out to put Shanari into a bear hug. If she succeeded, she would pull with her strength to turn Shanari and try and slam her to the ground.

Shanari blinked when she was caught in the bearhug, her arms trapped between her enemies arms and struggled with all she had, only to be slammed down hard upon the mat, gasping out loudly as she slowly stops struggle.

Shanari groaned lowly when she was pinned down, staring up at Akashi, not trying to escape the pin since her head was a little groggy.

Akashi leaned into the pin, making sure the hold was tight and she had plenty of force atop of Shanari. She wasn't going to let something like that keep her from winning as the ref counted "2."

Shanari glared up at Akashi, hearing the second count and tried to bucke her body upwards with all the might she possessed, trying to break the count before it would hit the third count.

Akashi growled when Shanari kicked out but she tried to maintain the leg hook. She balled her fist and launched it at the russian's face. "Alright lassy, no more playing around. I don't have time to dance with you for another hour so be a good girl and stay down!" If her first punch hit, she would throw another one and try for the pin again.

Shanari flinched her eyes tightly closed as her face gotten hit twice, starting to lay limply undereath Akashi, a soft series of panting coming from her mouth as she tried to regain her strength, resting the back of her head on the mat.

Akashi again growled. She knew she would have to really hurt Shanari if she wanted the match to end. She repositioned herself to try and grab both her legs. "Whatever! Girl, woman, man or beast I can't let you win this fight!" She grunted and tried to lift up Shanari by the legs and powerbomb her.
