Strategy:
While both are accomplished wrestlers in their own right and don't always fall into distinct roles, Kat and Matt can assume the roles of sword and shield in a pinch. Matt's endurance allows him to scout their opponents and stay in the ring for longer periods of time than his partner. As such, Matt will usually take the initiative and start off matches as the team's legal man. And Karen will usually serve as the team's hot tag, momentum shift, as well set up the finishers when they feel it's time to put their opponents away. Outside of these roles, the two can serve as a cohesive unit and will default to using their synergy to keep their opponent from tagging and racking up damage against the enemy team.

Origin:
Matt had spent the entirety of his wrestling career doing Lucha-Libre in Mexico. And Kat had traveled the world to compete in an array of different promotions and make a name for herself in indies far and wide. Because Matt started at a young age, he became disenchanted with the thrills of wrestling in his early 20's. Pro wrestling became a chore to him. On the night that he decided to retire, Kat joined his wrestling company and did a promo calling him out. The Fighting Feline revealed herself to be a long time fan of Matt's in-ring work and didn't want to see him hang up the boots just yet, especially when he could have easily had a bright future ahead of him in the business. She offered him an ultimatum. Face her in a match that night and if he wins, retire and part ways with the business, but if she wins, he'd become her tag partner and cook her meals while they were on the road. After a grueling bout and earth-moving cheers to try to get Matt to stay, Kat would emerge victorious and force Matthew to tap out and continue his career! After teaming for a just couple matches, Kat would make her leave to AFW, forcing Matt to tag along reluctantly.
