Makeshift Handicaped Match: Isaac Albertine vs Xiao La Rouge (For Deus001)

If there was one thing that irritated Isaac more than failure it was incompetence. Time and time again he would find that disgusting inadequacy rearing its ugly head in his plans and ruin something. Be it his pyramid scheme, car loan scams, or in this case his match. He was always more than happy to set the person straight. Though this time he didn’t quite appreciate having someone not only defend them but subtly ask for an apology out of him. You wish. Isaac thought to himself as he found it a bit insulting since he didn't believe he was wrong in his judgement.

"Oh I… meant every… word.” Isaac angrily growled between breaths thanks to the tight headlock. Though that was hardly enough to keep Isaac down because within a second later he would try to get to his feet and if he succeeded follow it up with multiple right hooks aimed above his left shoulder. In hopes of tagging Xiao in the face!

Xiao had considered herself someone that was hard to rile up or dislike people, she usually played her cards close to her chest and if in combat with those aforementioned people Xiao often simply focused on winning. Isaac was one of those people Xiao could safely assume, based off his attitude towards the referee just now. Regardless the oriental rose was fully intent on winning tonight's bout, her first match in Tension had resulted in her defeat and to redeem herself would be just the thing.

Still though at this time in the match the opponent was going to be fresh, as evident by Isaac using a burst of effort to rise back up to his feet! Catching the oriental rose off guard with the sudden jarring movements, added with the sudden strike to the side of the head. "Oof!" Xiao grunted out, with the position of the hold she hadn't exactly had a chance to properly defend herself there.

Ms La Rouge staggered back briefly and had let go of her opponent in the process, the prior damage to her head reared itself again. Xiao used a hand to hold the affected area, but not before attempting to spin around and deliver a hard right kick to Isaac's midriff to try and at least keep on him. Xiao knew that no matter what she had all four limbs while her opponent had foolishly restricted himself to three, that alone could make up the difference.

Like a game of dice it seemed like luck was being fickle with Isaac again. Already a minute in and nothing seemed to be going his way. Sure he made his bed but he never had the intention of making it so well. Whatever the reasoning though Isaac was now clearly pressed for time. He had to pick up the pace or be at risk of wearing himself thin.

So as Xiao backed up Isaac made the reckless decision to follow. Short of breath, thanks to the headlock, Isaac would give chase to the young woman only to receive a spin kick to his left side for his troubles. He clenched his teeth in pain as a silent groan escaped his lips but by no means was he deterred. With great effort he would stagger forward closing the distance between them before suddenly shoulder tackling the Oriental Rose to force her off balance and if successful follow it up with a spear.

Xiao had over the course of her time in combat had dealt with her fair share of troublesome opponents, ranging from those with tremendous skill in combat to well.....folks like Isaac. The latter usually had to go for something cheap to get one over on the Oriental Rose, though Xiao would admit Isaac was probably the first to willingly handicap himself in a fight. Not out of a sense of honour but rather in his own confidence. Still one had to at least admire his willingness to put himself into that, Xiao didn't have the perception required to see that view however. Her main focus was on disposing of this fool and making him pay for his decision.

That said though Xiao had underestimated the grit of Isaac, who was probably fuelled by his anger and frustration of how the Chinese/French woman was handily beating him thus far. Taking a hard kick from Ms La Rouge wasn't an easy thing, but desperation was a good fuel after all. No sooner had Xiao gotten her leg back to a neutral position did Isaac rush in and spear her in the gut!

"Guh!" the Oriental Rose grunted out as she hit the mat with a hard thud, the suddenness of it all served to jar the Chinese/French woman. Xiao who normally had the air of a regal warrior looked like the wind had just been taken right out of her sails at that point, Isaac in spite of his handicap had managed to get a solid one over on Ms La Rouge.....

Whoever had taught Xiao how to fight clearly knew what he was doing. The kick was like nothing that Isaac had every experienced it was so absurdly strong that the closest thing he could compare it to was a baseball bat. Granted he wasn’t prepared for it but even if he was there was no guarantee he would fair any better. So it was rather fortunate that he was able to knock the sails out of Xiao when he did and buy himself some time. Especial now with his time being so precious.

Yet, despite that Isaac was surprisingly motionless. Thanks to his earlier efforts which had now left him completely breathless. Forcing him to stop and rest a top of Xiao’s chest. Allowing several moments to appreciate the intimate nature of their positions before finally rolling off of her and attempt to draw her in a head scissors hold, if The Oriental Rose was still weak enough to catch.

Xiao inwardly pondered on if she had been careless or not, perhaps or perhaps not. After all the handicap on her opponent must have on a subconscious level made the young woman lower her guard, and Isaac finally got the chance that he'd need. He'd gotten the first move of the match in, but that was more to deceit rather than anything else. Still he'd had the grit to power through the hard kick from Xiao's leg, it was his debut after all and that meant he'd need to make a good impression at least.

The oriental rose quietly groaned as she felt where the pain was, Xiao wasn't paying attention to her opponent taking the chance to rest and admire the model like body that Ms La Rouge had been bestowed by her Mother. Had Xiao caught onto it she'd have likely taken issue with it, however currently she was dealing with the fight being taken out of her for the moment.

Isaac aimed to seize the chance though, otherwise Xiao would continue to be a very hard danger for him. With the opponent proceeding to slap in a head scissors, the sudden constriction jarred Xiao back to her situation. Giving a loud grunt as the tightness around the neck was felt, the ground game had been started.

This was something that Xiao was familiar with, unlike her Brother who chose to focus more on explosive acrobatics the self believing lady of war had spent time with submissions. The first rule was to not panic, which due to Xiao's mindset in battle was doable. Xiao sought out where the ropes were, rather than waste precious energy trying to power out the Chinese/French woman would attempt to shift her position about using her legs. If she could just get ever her foot on the closest bottom rope it'd prompt the ref to break the hold, it was a matter of getting there of course.....
