Kyo Akamatsu vs. Testament - Judgment Day

It was faint, miniscule, so small and light that you’d easily be forgiven for missing it, but as Testament rose up, you could see the faintest smile on her face.

It was gone by the time she straightened up, raising to her knees while Kyo retched. She looked at him, staring, but a more observant eye would see that she wasn’t just staring at him in general - she was focused on his midsection with razor focus, like a shark with blood in the water.

Sudden and strong, she reached forward and wrapped her arms around Kyo’s chest, pulling him in close to her as she began to stand up. Testament once more put her bestial strength on display, but that wasn’t the worst of it.

As she lifted Kyo up, she attempted to clasp her hands behind his back and pull him, looking to crush his aching ribs with a textbook bearhug.

Kyo breathed hungrily for air, unable to think of anything right now except how that impact still felt like it left a tremor running through his body. He had been stupid not to see that coming, and now he was paying the price for it. He tried to sit up, and was greeted by a fierce burning in his ribs the moment he tried to move.

Testament, however, was quick to "help" him up. He felt himself being pulled to his feet.. and then was encased by her massive arms in a bear hug! The pain in his ribs was amplified at that point, and a strangled cry of pain escaped his lips as his feet dangled off the ground.

He knew he had to escape somehow. If his arms were free, then he would try drilling punch after punch into Testament's forehead in an effort to make her let go: otherwise, with his arms trapped, he would have few options other than to try to shoot his head forwards in a desperate headbutt.

One might think that crushing Kyo in the bearhug would be the sort of thing that would make Testament happy - after all, she wanted to hurt him, and it was all too clear that he was going through excruciating pain right now. Her arms hammered him mercilessly, viciously, relentlessly, as if she wanted nothing less than to break every single bone in his body. As if she certainly would, if given half a chance.

But the more she touched him, the more her face shriveled and her snarl grew. It was if the act of contact itself brought her blood to a boil. Which made her squeeze harder. Which brought them closer together. Which made her squeeze harder.

The only thing that seemed to deter her were the constant blows to her head, as Kyo fought hard and battled his way out of the hold. One punch. Two. Three. Four strikes collided with Testament’s skull before it all became too much, and she had to let him go before he did serious damage. That being said, she let him go in the roughest way possible, as she hurled him towards the nearest corner with all the might she could manage.

This close, the pressure was incredible as Testament squeezed into hims relentlessly. He could feel his ribs creaking in protest, his spine compressing and his muscles bruising under the crushing grip. Despite all of this, he managed to get his arms free and throw a punch at Testment. The silver-haired woman took the punch dead on, and didn't even react. Gasping, Kyo punched her again, to no effect. Fear mixed with desperation at this point, and he began to punch her again and again, wailing into her even the pain threatened to overwhelm him.

Finally, Testament released him...by flinging him backwards. Unable to stop him self, Kyo slammed against the turnbuckle. A silent scream of pain came from his lips as he arched against the turnbuckle, barely managing to grab the top ropes in time to keep from falling over completely. His back was on fire at this point, and the corners of his eyes watered a little from the intensity of the pain.

Blood.

It wasn’t much, really, just a little cut on Testament's lip, where one of his errant punches caught her flush. A little drop. Not much at all.

To see the look on her face as she touched her lip, though, you wouldn’t thought that Kyo busted her wide open. She was pissed before, but that anger raised to a new level now, as she glared daggers straight at him. ”Enough.”

She moved in with a long, powerful stride and reached for Kyo’s arm, roughly tugging him out of the corner. Testament twisted about with a hard tug and sent him running with a hard Irish Whip, attempting to launch him across the ring at full blast.

Kyo was slumped in the corner, his arms hooked weakly over the top rope as the only thing keeping him upright at this point. His legs had given out, though he was still visibly trying, and failing, to regain his footing as his boots slid against the ropes. His back was a searing mass of pain at this point, however, to say nothing of his ribs and chest. He didn't know yet if Testament was the toughest girl he had ever faced, but she was certainly making a case for being the most brutal.

He heard her say "Enough" at that point, and looked up weakly at her...just as she grabbed a hold of his arm and whipped. Wide-eyed, he found himself flung hard across the ring with such force that he could barely stay upright. Bouncing off the ropes, he came running back at Testmanent, narrowly retaining his balance but unable to stop himself...

The referee barely had time to move out of the way, as Testament sent Kyo hurtling with a startling amount of force, flinging him with ferocious power. The moment she let go, she whipped her hair about and stared hard his way, bending her knees, getting into position with arms open.

Waiting. Ready.

She let Kyo come in, running hard towards her, and she pounced when he was at just the right distance. With frightening speed, she wrapped her arm around his chest and lifted him up. She used the momentum to spin about, once, then twice, before she brought it all down right on top of him with a mighty crash onto his back, one that had her full power behind it.

A swinging side slam. Or, as she liked to call it, Heaven’s Wrath.

A small part of Kyo was screaming that he had to regain control, that he was just a slave to momentum at this point as he hurtled back towards Testament. If he had been any less sore from that impact against the turnbuckle, he would have tried going for a duck or for a sneaky rollup pin. The thought did cross his mind...but the sheer force with which Testament had whipped him meant he could barely retain his own balance, let alone try any fancy maneuvers.

And so instead, all he could do was run right into Testament...and then gasp as he was locked in her arms yet again. He was lifted off his feet, struggling uselessly, before he was suddenly spun around, causing his head to swim. And then there was the impact-- a tremendous impact that felt like it rattled his spine into pieces. His back arched up involuntarily off the mat, before he flopped back down again, unmoving.

The impact was so thunderous that even the referee was forced to leap back, nearly stumbling off her feet as Kyo came crashing down. Despite that little surprise, there was a look of release on her face, glad that this match - this insane, scary, hectic match - was coming to a clear end. When Testament came down, the referee kneeled beside her, expecting the forthcoming pin.

But there was no pin. Testament was already laying on top of Kyo and could’ve clearly gone for it after that definite finisher, but instead, she opted to reach down and grab him by the hair with one hand, yanking him up to his feet as she rose, giving him the occasional punch in the face to keep him docile.

”Hey!” The referee looked up, confused, as the crowd protest. ”Wait, what are you doing?”

The crowd was howling in despair and disbelief now as Testament crashed down on top of Kyo, and almost collectively winced in sympathy as the amazon's full weight crashed down on top of the lighter male wrestler. Kyo's eyes were screwed shut, his chest only narrowly rising and falling, and he looked practically done as he lay under his opponent. At this point, it looked doubtful that he could resist a pinfall.

But a pinfall was clearly not what Testament had in mind, as she instead she began to pull him up. Blinking rheumily, Kyo pawed weakly at Testament's arms-- and was rewarded by a brutal punch to the head. He heard, rather than felt, the crunch of impact, and the next thing he knew his body went limp, his ears rang, and a white haze came over his vision. He was only able to groan numbly as Testament continued to lift him up.
