Match Type: Standard

A backstage area that was just swarming with little worker ants, scampering about as they got ready for the next match. A crowd buzzing outside, muttering, chomping down on their popcorn, gazing at their cell phones while they waited for the next match to start. A long ramp and a shiny ring and a giant screen. All so pretty and clean.

This was the big stage. This was the AFW. This was Tension.

So far, Sin wasn’t impressed.

She stood in what they called the ‘gorilla position’, waiting just behind the curtain in her custom dubok, eyes closed, waiting for her music to start and her time to come out.  Deep breaths. Slow. Steady. Waiting. Waiting.

She bit her tongue and grunted, as her muscles tensed all over. Waiting was all she seemed to do these days, ever since she’d been kicked out of the...what was the last federation? It was only two months ago, but she couldn’t recall the name for the life of her. They all sort of blurred together after a while. She’d go from one to another, wreck the competition, have some fun, right up until she had too much fun, and then they’d kick her out and send her walking to the next one.

It was an annoying grind that had her going all over Europe and Asia, not long enough to settle down, never staying for more than half a year. But this, the AFW? It was the end of the line. She’d avoided it for a while now, mostly because she fucking hated Japan too much to come here when there were other options. But now there weren’t any other options, so…yeah. Here she was. She was a ‘wrestler’ now, but if the AFW was as lax about things as she’d heard, if they had the opportunities she wanted, if they had the competition she craved, she could wear that title with pride. Time would tell.

Sin opened her eyes halfway and exhaled as her theme music started up and the lights went down, covering the crowd in shadow. Violet lights flickered around the entrance, streaming around the crowd, dazzling them, sparkling about, cutting through the darkness, all the way until a shrill shriek filled the arena. The lights all converged on top of the ramp, and there Sin stood, bathing in the glow.

A little theatrics. Never hurt.

The light stuck with her as she sauntered down the ramp, getting a few cheers from the crowd and more than her share of catcalls. Horny guys and gals, looking for some material to heat up their night with, probably thinking they were going to get something kinky out of this. And they would, probably, though in Sin’s experience, she tended to take things further than the crowd ever wanted to go. It mattered less than a shit in the end, but she was curious when the clapping would stop and the boos would start. When the crowd realized what they were really dealing with, here.

That was always a fun moment, but it all depended on the man they were feeding her, she supposed. From what she understood, Tension had some decent guys - Dasher, Blue Thunder Mask, Kyo Akamatsu and the like - but it also had some utter pussies, too. So which way would the coin land today? A real challenge or a punching bag?

She shrugged to herself as she came in through the ropes and went over to her corner, taking position as the lights came back on. With her back to the corner, she grabbed her leg and pulled it up in a long stretch, getting nice and limber. Didn’t matter who came out of that curtain next, really. Whether he knew it or not, this was about to be one of the worst days of his life.

Or the best. Came down to what he was into.

Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash Empty Re: Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash

Post by Hedgehawk Tue Jun 12, 2018 7:18 pm

Backstage, Ichiro sat on one of the many benches in the locker room. Getting himself into the mood for his first fight her at AFW Tension. He had hoped they would have pitted him in a fight against a man. Something strong for his debut, something he could sink his teeth into. Instead they gave him a woman. A lowly woman. This wasn't going to be fun. Well that was a lie, beating the shit out of a woman was always fun. But it wouldn’t feel rewarding. For Ichiro this was more like taking out the trash: A chore more than a match.

But then he had to remember why he was here. In reality he didn’t want to be wasting his time here dealing with some pesky bitch. However he did have a gym to save. His gym in downtown Kyoto was his pride and joy. He had spent most of his boxing earnings on it, but sadly it never kicked off. At first the gym was male only, but it didn’t quite make enough money, so he had to make the painful decision to allow women to train their too. While it never made enough money letting ladies in, it did bring a steady stream of girls who wanted to try and beat up the ‘Woman-Killer’. None had achieved it and many of them needed to see a medic afterwards.

Tonight was important then. Not only could he win some money, but he could also promote his gym. Hopefully by combining them he could make his dream come true. So tonight he really did feel sorry for whatever primrose little bitch they had for him. He could hear their theme music play from backstage, and it did intrigue Ichiro to a degree. It wasn’t the sort of music he would expect. Maybe this match would be more fun than he first thought.

It was finally time for him to make his own entrance. His Theme song began to start playing and Ichiro would make his way onto the ramp. His song was slow, and nothing flashy. Ichiro had come from a boxing background and entrances weren’t really important. At that point you were too engrossed in preparing for the fight to be bothered about your entrance. Making his way, cleanly down the ramp, Ichiro finally managed to reach the ropes. Climb inside to the ring he would finally meet his opponent. Nothing impressive then. He turned his nose to her and he went into his own corner and began to stretch his arms.

“So you are the weakling they have send against me?” He called out as he began to make his way towards the ring center.

Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash Empty Re: Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash

Post by acuyra Wed Jun 13, 2018 6:06 am

”Well.” Sin muttered under her breath as the hint of a real smile started to form on her lips, instead of the lazy grin she’d been holding for the past minute. ”Hellohellohello.”

From the first second he came through the ropes, Sin saw some promise with this one. He was tall, but not the lanky tall. Muscles on muscles, barely any fat to be seen. This wasn’t some walk-in who’d come from the street, just looking to roll around the ring with hot women. No, this was a fighter. A destroyer.

Judging from the outfit, he was a boxer, too, or trained as one. Interesting. A practitioner in Tae Kwon Do going up against a boxer in her first match? Funny coincidence. Too funny. Just hazarding a guess, but whoever booked this bout was thinking about a fantasy match, pitting two desperate styles against each other.  The sort of thing that sparked internet debates with a bunch of fat fucks who’d never darkened the doorstep of a dojo. Fine by her, so long as ‘Ichiro’ had the goods.

And he had a little to say, too. Definitely not impressed with her, not that she expected him to be. Here he was, tall and brimming with muscles, sculpted like a Greek god. Here she was, half his size, barely coming to marbeled chest. He had every reason to not to take her seriously. He could fling her around this ring with arm.

God, she couldn’t wait for the look on his face when he realized what he was really up against.

Sin strutted his way with a slow gait as he moved to the center of the ring, taking the time to drink him in as she approached. She didn’t say anything at first, didn’t even look at his face. Her eyes stayed locked on his midsection, all the way until she was close enough to get his personal space, less than a foot off. Sin brought a hand up and ran her fingers over those bulletproof abs of his, giving them a light scratch with her fingernails.

”So, we’re confident.” She bit her lip, then brought her hand away and looked straight up at him. ”Confident’s good, I like confident. Just don’t hold back.” She had a light, low chuckle, and took a couple of steps back, swaying as she went. ”Finish me fast. Don’t want people thinking you had problems taking down a chickenshit weakling, right? Let's see..."

Sin held up a single finger, then opened her arms wide, well within what she could guess was his best range. A nice, wide target. Could only be easier if she painted a bullseye on her forehead and fought blindfolded. ”One minute. Beat me in one minute.” A slim smirk graced her lips the entire time, never left for a second, a silent taunt over every word she spoke.

Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash Empty Re: Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash

Post by Hedgehawk Wed Jun 13, 2018 7:50 pm

“Confident doesn’t even begin to describe it” Ichiro started, looking directly at her. She seemed to be fascinated by his body, feeling her nails start to slightly irritate the surface of his skin. She seemed to be confident too, but Ichiro couldn't understand why. “You seem to be feeling pretty confident too by the sounds of your voice. Don’t get too confident though. You will see shortly why”

Ichiro then observed her walk backwards, speaking as she raised her arms out, inviting, no begging for an attack. It did seem strange, but clearly this woman had a deathwish. At least Ichiro would have some fun beating the shit and spirit out of her. “I don’t need a minute… a few seconds will do. I will never lose to a puny little woman like you, who thinks she is tough because of the clothes she wears”

Before either of them could say anything else the bell would ring. The fight had now started and Ichiro raised his fists into a boxing guard, separating his legs just enough to give himself so momentum if he needed it. The question then arose as about whether or not he should really attack an opponent who asked for it. This could be a trap. A really obvious trap. But still, Ichiro had a female to destroy so of course he was going to go for it.

To help minmise his liability to fall into a trap, his first strike of the fight was a jab, using his right fist, directly forward, aiming for the woman's face. Aiming mostly for speed over power, the opening punch was designed to simply daze the woman and confuse her. The real power come from his hook that came lightning in afterwards with his left fist. That was aiming for her own midsection. Nothing like starting a match of by breaking a girls nose and then doubling her over. “In a minute or so you will be on the floor bleeding from your mouth, so you better get used to this” he taunted at her.

Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash Empty Re: Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash

Post by acuyra Thu Jun 14, 2018 6:30 am

Sin had to hold back the urge to break out in a giggle-fit as Ichiro spoke, settling for a growing smile instead. So, this guy wasn’t just cocky, he was a misogynist, too? That was perfect. She’d thought the whole Men’s Rights Youtube movement was an America phenomena, but it seemed like shades of it had found their way to Japan, too.

Not that it mattered. She would come at him the same way, and it wouldn’t matter if he was the nicest, smilingest, guppy-faced guy on the roster. But doing this with an asshole who had it coming? A new thing. She wouldn't complain.

Sin had a quick, pleasant hum when he set the bar high, saying he only needed a few seconds to beat her. Wasn’t sure what he meant about her  thinking she was tough because of the clothes, though. Didn’t care enough to ask, and there went the bell, anyway, before he could get in a retirt. The referee moved out of their way, getting clear as Sin beckoned him on, curling her fingers as he moved into a solid boxing stance.

Ichiro shifted into his stance with the ease that only came from years of training. Solid footing, good posture, nothing but substance, no flash. A no-frills pose, one that reminded her much of the front stance in Tae Kwon Do. Sin wouldn’t call herself a boxing fan, but she knew a pro when she saw one. He could take her out with a few solid hits, if they connected.

If.

His first move was a jab, one that came out swift, going straight for her face. A good, clean move, one that would’ve had Sin reeling if she hadn’t bobbed back at the last second and made it whiff by a few precious inches. Didn’t matter, right? It was just a jab, which meant he was probably using it to set up for something big, and...ah, there it was.

She might’ve missed it if she hadn’t been looking for his other arm in that moment. A good left hook, one going for her midsection with enough force to rearrange her organs. Not that she could know that, since she had no intention on letting it get that far. Instead, she shot her leg up and smacked his wrist with her knee, deflecting the blow in an instant.

Sin’s lazy smile stayed as she hopped on one foot, moving back out of his range before she brought her leg down again.  ”Close.” She started to bounce on her heels, working with a groove that only she could hear. ”Try again.”

Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash Empty Re: Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash

Post by Hedgehawk Thu Jun 14, 2018 8:34 pm

Ichiro was confident that he was going to knock the woman out in record time. Not many males were able to resist the power of the power and speed of his opening strikes, yet alone a smaller inferior woman. Sin should have doubled over and then collapsed onto the ground from his strikes. Should have.

Alas, it did not. At the final moment Sin managed to lean back and let the jab hit nothing but the air in front of her. A minor set back. He still had his gut punch that would at least knock her around for a while. Again however, Sin had other plans. Instead of letting the punch up she fired her knew up with enough speed that it was able to knock his fist off course. He would hiss slightly and lowly from the impact, his wrist now throbbing in pain. Nothing terrible mind you. Just annoying more than anything. Recoiling his fist back into his stance he shook his wrist to try and wave off some of the pain.

Observing Sin and her retreat back a few steps, It became clear to Ichiro that she was in some kind of martial arts stance, though his ignorance meant the specific style eluded him. At least he could decide that it was most certainly not a wrestling stance. Sin seemed to move on her feet with some dexterity, forcing Ichiro to conclude that this fight was more than likely going to become a test to see how long it would be until he finally managed to wear her speed down and then proceed to destroy her. This wasn’t new to him. He had fought many female boxers who had tried the same technique. They had all failed.

“Oh really? You have speed. How...cute” He mocked her in response to her own attempt to try and goad and taunt him. He wasn’t going to let this woman get inside his head and mess with him. She wanted to play the dodging game. Fine. Ichiro would be happy to oblige. Ichiro raised his fists, turning his guard into an upper guard to protect him incase Sin tried anything funny on his advance. He would much rather get hit in the gut that the face this early on. He took the few steps required to once again get into range. This time however he was going to shake it up. He changed the order of his strike this time, throwing his gut wrenching left fist first. The speed was there from before, but the power was lacking. What came next was what made this move special. Suspecting that Sin may try and jump back again to avoid him, Ichiro would lunge forward while throwing a jab towards her face. If it worked the extra range would be able to nail her even if she tried to retreat backwards. The perfect plan to smash that smirk off her face.

Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash Empty Re: Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash

Post by acuyra Fri Jun 15, 2018 6:40 am

Sin bobbed from side to side, waving about in her stance, keeping things light and casual for the moment. Someone had to be the relaxed one here, Ichiro was being so deadly serious about the whole thing.  Not like her. Hell,  not like the crowd, who were starting to have a nice round of chuckles about the display. This was a common sight, as she understood it, seeing some guy having circles run around him in a Tension ring. If she had to guess, Ichiro was cocksure that he was different, that this match wouldn’t be some loser’s wank fuel tonight.

He was right, too. It wouldn’t be like those matches. Just not in the way he was expecting.

To his credit, if her little stunt had any effect, he did an expert job of hiding it, not letting it bug him in the slightest. It just hammered home the idea that Ichiro was a real boxer, not just some guy rocking the look for intimidation points. Which begged the question: why was a perfectly good, skilled boxer with a body like this hanging around a mixed wrestling league? As opposed to, you know, boxing? Especially since he acted as if he'd rather be rolling around in a garbage dump than fighting in this ring.

She made a note to ask him that later, assuming he stayed in a talkative mood. The guy liked to speak his mind, but he was eager to back it up, too, something he showed as he rushed in once more. This time he a low left for her, one that couldn’t wrecked her midsection.

There was nothing wrong with his form. He was big, but fast, as any boxer worth his salt should’ve been. Sin was faster, but only by a small margin. She hopped back to avoid the blow, but it was close, so close she could feel the wind whip against her abs as it passed. ”Better.”

The punch that came after that was a different story. He lunged with it, and even if she could jump back in time to avoid it, she would have the ropes to deal with. They’d bounce her back into whatever he had coming next. No, she needed to make some space.

She ducked under the jab, but she didn’t just duck. Sin twisted about on the ball of her foot as she lowered, twisted about, and shot her other foot out straight behind her, looking to plant her heel in his stomach with a spinning back kick. One of the more powerful kicks in her arsenal, with enough force to send him stumbling back towards the center of the ring.

Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash Empty Re: Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash

Post by Hedgehawk Mon Jun 25, 2018 11:07 pm

Ichiro was fairly confident that he had this attack in the bag. There was nowhere for this bitch to run. Even if she was able to avoid the punches she would have to fall back into the ropes, Only making his follow up attack even more lethal. Ichiro couldn’t help but be slightly annoyed at the fact that Moon had managed to avoid his first punch. Given her track record in the fight so far, she was going to be doing this alot. So he might as well get used to it.

Just to add insult to injury, the second strike: the one that was supposed to catch the bitch off guard also failed. She was too fast. Down to the ground she vanished from his view for a second. The next thing he felt was a sudden impact into his abs. His abs were like steel, so it would hardly phase him. But the power would be enough to send him two steps back. Even if the attack only caused him to grunt it would hurt his pride more than anything. The woman in this fight got in the first true strike of the match.

“Heh… So you got lucky… It won’t happen again”
Ichiro could have gone ahead and attacked again, but instead he raised his guard and took a further step back, taking him dead centre into the middle of the ring. “Let us see what you have got, I have had enough of being on attack… Your turn”

Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash Empty Re: Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash

Post by acuyra Tue Jun 26, 2018 8:39 pm

After Sin’s kick landed, she kept her leg straightened out, only lowering it so she could get a good view of him staggering back, see the annoyance on his. Yeah, this guy was nice and ripe, had to be calling her all sorts of names in that macho head of his. Oh, she didn’t hurt him all that much. Not physically, anyway. Those abs took punishment all the time, she could tell.

But mentally? There had to be a crack or two. She was curious to see just how much it would really take before the walls came down, and Ichiro was more than kind enough to give her the opportunity.

”Oh, you want me to bring it you, then?” She lowered her leg, nice and slow, daintily bringing her toes to the mat. She didn’t take a stance, didn’t move into some defensive position. ”Since you asked so nicely…”

Sin took one step forward. Then another. Then another. Hands at her side, hips swaying. The look of woman who was walking through the mall on a lazy Sunday, not one who was approaching a ticked off boxer twice her size. She was moving in, but not too close, reaching the edge, the exact edge of his range. Sin leaned in, just enough to feel herself entering the danger zone, her heart beating faster, sampling the taste, and-

Now.

Her leg shot up in a flash, going low, lower than his guard, low than she was even allowed to. At first, it might have seemed like she was about to give him a kick between the legs, and she came close, just close enough to feel the fabric of his pants at her instep. But she pulled away at the last instant, took a short hop away, then spun about on her heel and lashed out with her real attack, jumping up to deliver a tornado kick to the side of his head, eager to see how good that guard of his really was.

Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash Empty Re: Ichiro Kuo vs. Moon Sin-Jae - Styles Clash

Post by Hedgehawk Thu Jun 28, 2018 10:08 pm

Years of fighting in the ring had taught him that it was far easier to defend than it was to attack. It was all in the counterattack after all. He would be lying if he tried to say that this woman had not royally pissed him off. She was a women, a measly woman wearing some stupid costume, with stupid hair and a stupid, albeit punchable face. Why wouldn’t she just learn her place and lie on the floor with drool coming out of her mouth? Life would be so much easier that way.

She couldn’t even be bothered to stay in her stance. She was just sauntering along as if it she was having a relaxing day. Was she even taking this seriously? Was he that much of a joke to her? That thought only helped fuel his anger as she got closer and closer, closer even still to his striking range. However it was her turn to attack, and while he had wanted to lash out, he knew deep down he was better maintain his guard.

So finally she attacked, throwing her leg up under his high guard, which wasn’t exactly difficult and aimed right for his crotch. He should have lowered his guard, but he didn’t. He was all too familiar with double attacks… or ruses. Which thankfully turned out to be true as she suddenly stopped and then moved back out of striking range. This woman was an odd fighter. Really odd. Less than a second later however she was back on his case as jumped up. Ichiro froze. He had never dealt with jumping kicks before. He had only ever focused on punches and the occasional low kick. A jumping kick, that was new. He maintained his steadfast guard, thankfully absorbed the impact, through his arms might have something else to say about the matter. There was however one small issue, a minor victory for Moon at least. He had been so used to wearing gloves, that his hands were spaced further apart, leaving a gap at the sides of his hands, that was just enough for her foot to creep past and nick the side of his head. Not with a lot of force or impact, but she did technically hit.

Now Ichiro made a choice. A bold choice. He had fought his entire life with his fists, but it was becoming apparent to survive in this match, let alone this league. He would need to branch out away from his comfort zone. He knew that Moon had to be close, there was no way she could land and get out of striking range that fast. As soon as she landed he dashed forward, throwing his body forward and his left leg up, up towards the woman’s toned and defined midriff, hoping to rearrange her internal organs with a knee strike! “Stupid fucking Bitch!”
