Daisuke was about to transition the waistlock into a German suplex but right before he could pull the trigger, Valley struck him clean around the jaw with a stiff elbow strike. That was enough for the wrestling prince to release the veteran but not enough o back him off completely. Still, it did take him a second or two to rub his cheek and jawline before he he lunged forward to strike her upper back.

He wasn't done there, still frustrated at the stubbornness of his opponent, Daisuke grabbed her hair and yanked it back in an attempt to take her down on her back. Daisuke managed to succeed but in a moment of awesomeness, Valley embraced the situation and turned it into her advantage, while falling back she acrobatically threw her leg up and arch it over and smacked it against Daisuke's face to deliver her signature Pele Kick.

Her boot smacked against his face and both wrestlers went down on their backs. "Oouuufffff!!!" Daisuke cried out in pain, he was completely caught off by that kick. The prince clutched his back while both wrestlers remained on their back and the referee would start the count again.

"One.....two...."

Pele Kick. Good, solid move, one that had served Valley hundreds, perhaps even thousands of times. Just about all of her female opponents had suffered it at one time or another, and it looked like that trend would be continuing in Tension, with Daisuke taking it hard right on the brow. The one downside? She was never in a position to see how her foes reacted to it, always missed that. Such a shame this time, because she really wanted to see the look on Daisuke's face when it connected.

Down he went. Hell, down they went. Even though she'd managed to turn it into an attack, Valley's skull still connected with the canvas, a less-than-favorable outcome. Aching, seething, with the count going for both of them, Valley wait another second before she began to raise up.

She decided to not do it near Daisuke, though, instead wanting to put some space between them. She rolled under the ropes instead, and used to the ropes to rise out on the apron, standing up near the turnbuckle. Home, sweet home.

Daisuke's brutish offence was met with a much more graceful attack by Valley, delivering a Pele Kick to his head as she was brought down on her back with a hard tug of her hair. Both wrestlers went down with the prince clutching his head and rolling away from Valley before slowly shifting up on all fours.

"...three...." the referee counted and by that time Daisuke started to get back up on his feet. Meanwhile, Valley decided to use a different approach. She would get away from him by rolling under the ring ropes and rising back up on her feet on the ring apron, right next to the nearby turnbuckle.

Clenching his fists, Daisuke was not going to let her rest on her laurels like that. "Done already?" he hissed, before looking to bounce off the opposite set of ring ropes to where Valley stood and sprint towards Valley as he attempted to bend down at the last moment and ram his shoulder to her abs in an effort to spear her off the apron and take both of them outside the ring and onto the arena floor!

Was Daisuke this stuff the last time they wrestled? She was having a little difficulty recalling the specifics, but she could’ve sworn she had an easier time back then. Maybe it was just the current predicament tainting her memory. Or maybe he’d just gotten that much better and determined since they parted ways.

Whatever the case, it was working him, forcing Valley to make a small retreat this soon into the match. She still felt she was in control, but she was starting to get a tad worried about her ability to keep that control.

She was given a good reason for that caution in the next moment, as she registered what Daisuke was doing. She could see him rushing towards her from across the ring, moving at full tilt. Valley expected him to just hit her, try and knock her off the apron. Simple, really. What she got instead was a little more potent.

Daisuke was a big man, and when he ducked down and speared her, it felt like getting hit with a cannonball. The effect was almost as devastating, too, as she went flying through space, crashing to the ground with him on top.

Needless to say, it kind of sucked, and she was left flat on the floor, spread eagled and gasping.

The momentum was on his side and the wrestling prince could not afford to take a breather just yet. He had to stay on her and allowing the two to break up and rest up would be a mistake that he would learn to regret later. Thus, Daisuke decided to go with his gut feeling and that was telling him to take Valley out whilst she was standing on the ring apron.

Bouncing off the ring ropes opposite to that of where Valley stood, Daisuke picked up speed before bending forward and ramming his shoulder into her abs and speared her off the ring apron taking her down on the outside arena floor. Valley ended up down on the floor with the prince on top.

It was a high risk move but it seemed to pay off, Daisuke felt a little pain from the impact as well but not more than the pain felt by Valley. The Slamazon seemed out and anyone else would have just allowed for the count to begin but the prince wanted to be doubly sure this time.

Gasping, he would get up on his knees next to her before grabbing her by the hair and forcefully pull her back up on her feet.  "Get up, I'm not done with you yet Valley" he said before scooping her up in his arms. The prince would then start to walk towards the steel steps before doing a short sprint and attempting to powerslam Valley, back first, on top of the steel steps! "Hhrruughh!" he growled in effort

If he was successful, he would simply lean against the ring apron and demand that the referee begin his ten count.

Between this and her match with Manami, the one that left her bedridden and snake-bitten, Valley was starting to remember why she seldom participated in these hardcore leaning matches: she wasn’t really all that good at them.

Nearly two decades of wrestling had taken a toll on her body, and while it was one that she didn’t have a problem coping with in most of her matches, she wasn’t really designed to be taking the heavier hits - not that she ever had been, but that applied more today than ever. That crash had looked bad, but she could confirm that it actually felt even worse than it appeared, with her body taking far more of the force than it was accustomed to.

And to make matters worse - far worse - Daisuke didn’t seem of a mind to be letting up anytime soon.

She hissed as her hair was yanked up hard, forcing her to stand whether she was ready or not - definitely not, right now. She had to stumble and stagger just to keep up with him as she was dragged along, putting up a weak resistance along the way - weak punches, trying to twist away, nothing that would stop him from his ultimate goal.

She was lifted up, flipped about, and brought down hard on top of the steel steps, her back hitting the harsh metal at full force. She let out a hoarse, hollow scream as the pain tore through her spine. It felt like her bones were on fire, and if she’d ever experienced a worse agony, she couldn’t picture it at the moment. It seemed unlikely.

Valley flopped off the step, coming to a rest on her chest at the bottom, kicking her heels and gritting her teeth to try and deal with the immense pain. She didn’t want to get up in ten seconds. She didn’t want to get up in ten hours. But, of course, she didn’t have much of a choice on that matter, because…

”1…!”

Valley let out a long groan as the referee started to count, but she didn’t move yet. Not just yet. She would make the push in a couple of seconds, but for now she just wanted to recoup, rest, take whatever time she could spare.

”2…!”

Just a little longer.

Maybe the wrestling prince gave Valley too much respect, too much credit in their last match. Although things weren't as bad to take anything on a personal level, the match type and the intensity of the prince would make it seem as if that was the case. The match spilled outside the ring, where it would be more dangerous for both wrestlers however for now, it proved to be more dangerous for the Slamazon.

Pulling Valley back up on her feet with more cheap hairpulling, Daisuke would haul her up in his arms before carrying her to the nearby steel steps and slamming her back first on them. The prince would then lean back against the apron, panting while watching his opponent let out a loud scream and flop off the steps whilst coming down on the arena floor on her belly.

The wrestling prince bit his lip, he so wanted to continue his offence but he couldn't for the count had begun. Instead, Daisuke would walk over towards Valley, standing near her head while looking down on the Slamazon. "A smother isn't going to help win you this match Valley." he said, referencing their last match.

"3...4...!"

The wrestling prince continued to stare down at the veteran, admiring his handy work. "Get up, I know this isn't your limit." he said, still standing close to her as he got ready to continue his offence the moment she would get back up to break the count.

"5...!"

”Uuuuuuuuuggggggh.”

Valley Doll was hating life right about now.

She laid on the steel steps, her back in agony, hissing with every breath she took. That had been a nasty hit, one of the worst she’d taken in her time in the AFW. While she was still conscious, very much so, that was kind of the problem - she was so aware of all the pain, had to process it all. Not easy. Not fun.

And made no better by Daisuke gloating over it. Yes, she would have to get up, and yes, she could do that, but there was no need to rush into it. She needed all the time she could spare, and if he thought that needling her over it would make her rush to get up, he seriously misunderstood the nature of their relationship. ”I’ll take my sweet time, thank you very much.”

”9!”

Valley waited until he was just about to reach ten and sprung to her feet, saving herself - relatively speaking, she wasn’t in danger of losing the match immediately, but he back was still aching and her legs were unsteady. Cautious, she raised up her arms, knowing Daisuke wouldn’t miss this golden chance to pounce.

The wrestling prince was proud of his accomplishments and should he managed to get this victory under his belt, that would seem to inflate his ego even more. This victory would more than make up for his previous loss to Valley, seeing this one was Valley's official debut in Tension, that too in a last person standing match.

Daisuke smiled cruelly while watching Valley laid on the steel steps and roll down thereof. She would moan in pain but it was obvious she was eating down the clock, using the rules to her advantage so Daisuke would lay off her whilst the count continued. "Hmph, you think you're being clever?" he snarled, clearly annoyed at her.

Eventually, she would get back up on her feet and would her guard up by raising her arms. Daisuke would step in, not willing to miss the chance, and grab a fistfull of her hair before attempting a stiff forearm strike at her cheek, just to stun her a bit.

If he managed to land that, he would attempt to wrap his arms around her waist and pull her up in a bearhug and give her a firm squeeze. Not finished yet, the wrestling prince would charge forward and attempt to ram Valley back first into the crowd barricade whilst having her trapped in the bearhug.

"Grraahh!" he growled.

”Yes, actually!”

Damn it, if Valley couldn’t hurt Daisuke physically at the moment, she’d do the best she could to wound his pride. Ego was a big thing with him, he wore it like a flag, and she was sure that if she needled him enough, a good opportunity would present itself. When that happened, she just had to be ready.

And conscious.

That was important, yes.

Daisuke was on point, though, and didn’t give her much time to recover, reaching out and seizing her by the hair before she could get too far, continuing his hot streak of not being an idiot. Powerful arms wrapped around her body, gripped tight, and then came the squeezing.

Valley gritted her teeth hard, but a hiss still slipped through as he mauled her insides, pressing hard with unrelenting muscles. It was all she could do to hang there and not cry out, and even that didn’t last for long, ruined when he charged forward and rammed her spine against the barricade.

That got a scream out of her, and a loud one at that, as the pain tore up and down her spine. Eyes watering, she fell limp over his shoulder, breathing slow and hard.
