Of Angels and Amazons

Somehow, her chancy dodge had worked. Standing back up to her full height, Risako whipped her hair out of her face, breathing hard, an angry look of determination on her as her fans went wild. Wordlessly, she moved over to where Alaina was struggling to get back to her feet.

And then, with sudden speed, she would raise a leg and bring it chopping down on Alaina's skull for an axe-kick, as the Queen of Queens decided to give the Amazon a reminder of why she was so feared in the ring!

Alaina was rising when the kick smashed the back of her head! She moaned in agony as her body seemed to go limp, her mass crashing listlessly to the mat in a heap in the aftermath of the hard shot to the back of her head. Alaina was in trouble all of a sudden as the shot to her head left her in a daze and she was barely stirring on the canvas as she laid there on her stomach. She had quickly lost control of this match as she was now struggling to even make it to her hands and knees.

Alaina was sprawled on the mat now, dazed by Risako's vicious axe-kick. A small part of Risako thought that this might be a good opportunity to pin the Amazon. The experienced part of her knew that it wouldn't be enough, especially against a girl of her stamina and stature.

"Up," she growled, pulling Alaina up by the arm. Hoping that Alaina was still dazed, Risako would whip her across the ring. As the Amazon came bouncing back, Risako would run directly at Risako, spinning elegantly before driving an elbow right into her face! If that stunned Alaina further, Risako would then run past her, bouncing off the ropes before running back and leaping to nail Alaina with a bulldog!

Alaina was in a bad spot when Risako yanked her up to her feet. Alaina took the running elbow and teetered about, wobbling as she managed to barely stay up on her feet. She knew Risako was behind her somewhere and suddenly felt herself grabbed by the head! Alaina tried to duck low and brace herself to deny Risako a good grip, pushing as she hoped to stay vertical while shoving Risako forward to land on her backside while failing to drag Alaina face-first to the canvas with her!

The moment Risako latched an arm around Alaina's head, she felt resistance. She winced, feeling her titan of an opponent become seemingly solid as a rock as she remained in place, still too stunned to fight back but not so stunned that she wasn't dangerous-- a fact that Alaina proved as she shoved against her back, causing Risako to lose her grip on Alaina's head and go sprawling down onto her hands and knees in a vulnerable position.

Annoyed, Risako would react quickly, rotating her body and swiping a booted heel up at Alaina's face in a spinning kick (followed quickly by her second leg for a follow-up in case Alaina managed to catch the boot), before hopefully spinning back up to her feet to face the Amazon once more...

Alaina managed to dodge one nasty spot however as she stepped forward Risako's foot caught her in the head sending her stumbling back! Alaina moaned in pain as she shook her head trying to recover while Risako rose back to her feet. Alaina felt like Risako just had her number somehow. Alaina was struggling to shake off her daze while Risako was fluidly firing on all cylinders against her. Alaina grit her teeth and surged forward, trying to rush straight at Risako as quickly as she could to lower her shoulder and spear Risako down to the canvas!

Risako felt her boot swipe across Alaina's face, and smiled as she saw the blow knock Alaina back. So far, so good: Alaina may have been more powerful, but Risako still outclassed her in the speed and skill department, and that was starting to tell. All she had too--

Suddenly, Alaina came surging at her again, despite what should have been a dazing blow to the head. Alarmed, Risako tried to dodge, but it was far too late-- the Amazon's shoulder slammed hard below her chest. "OOOOF!" Risako gasped as the blow erupted the air from her lungs. The two wrestlers were propelled down to the mat, Risako crashing hard onto her back, gasping for breath and staring up at the arena lights, with Alaina now on top.

Alaina managed to hammer herself into Risako, looking over at Peggy who was still recovering. Alaina wanted to get Peggy back in but she also wanted to do so when Risako was reeling, also working Peggy in with a big team attack. Right now she had work to do against Risako also to prove to herself that she could hang with her in the ring after her poor performance in their last match. The amazon got up pulling the panther up by the hair as she bent down trying to keep working her over by scoop slamming her down to the canvas as hard as she could onto the mat within the vicinity of a neutral turnbuckle.

Panther was breathing hard after having Alaina simply collide with her like that, and having the Amazon come crashing down on top of her wasn't helping matters. She felt a small amount of relief as Alaina got off of her, but it was short lived as the Amazon grabbed a hold of her long purple locks, causing her to wince-- both in pain, and in anger at her hair being mistreated in this way-- as she was peeled off of the mat, barely able to stand after that brutal impact.

Alaina was quick, however, sliding one arm around her thigh and another around her shoulder. Risako's world went upside down as she was effortlessly scoop slammed by the Amazon and sent crashing down onto her back. A silent scream of pain erupted from Risako's lips as she arched up from the blow, before arching onto her side near the turnbuckle...

The slam worked but now Alaina wanted to fly! The amazon immediately made her way towards the corner, climbing up with all the haste she could. Alaina got to the top, facing away from the ring before glancing back to make sure Risako was in the same spot she was before. Taking a deep breath Alaina jumped up and soared into the air, going for a big top rope moonsault onto Risako! Alaina knew people didn't expect her to fly but she was capable of doing so even if it was a fairly uncommon occurrence for the big woman. She was out to show Risako that their solo match had been Alaina when she wasn't at her best, and if this didn't prove that point she wasn't sure what would.
