Background:  Elke was the first daughter of the Brandt family. Her parents were well positioned in good jobs. Her father was a very relevant attorney and her mother was a politician who ran and acted as mayor of her city for several terms. That allowed the young Elke to grow in an environment different from the everyday man: elite schools and elite circles. All that made her grow a little bit out of touch with the real world and she developed some kind of arrogance to her.

From an early moment in her life, Elke’s parents pressured her a lot so the young girl joined ballet classes. She didn’t like it that much, but she was good at it and helped her develop certain physical skills and built a determined, hard working character. When she was getting closer to adulthood, she grew up beyond the optiman size for a dancer and left classes as she was developing a new passion: boxing. At first her parents were against it, but when they noticed the passion with which her daughter devoted they conceded. And it turned out Elke was really good at it. Years later she was boxing on official rookie tournaments all around Germany, and she was getting good results, being among the top 5 of her country. One fateful day a scouter for a very special boxing division in Japan was impressed by her energy and offered Elke a place in Japan. With ambitions to come back a greater boxer and aiming to getting some belts in Japan and then in Germany, she accepted.
