Information:
Name: Martha “The Fear Leader” McNamara.
Sex: Female
Eyes: Grey.
Hair: Blonde
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 110lbs
Alignment: Cold, Humdrum Heel
Entrance Music:
Spoiler:

Fighting Information:

Strategy: Fear Leader has a relatively simple, laid back approach to combat. While not as tall, tough, or aggressive as her fellow Spirit members, Fear Leader does have cunning and wit on her side. Behind that passive expression and careless gait is a mind steaming with ideas and plans, just waiting to find an opening to exploit. Few of her opponents ever truly realize what she is capable of until she’s already entrapped them in a decisive hold!

Style: Speedy Striker, with a special love for striking joints of vital spots. Will gladly help a fellow AFW Spirit Member.

Signatures:

Eyes on me!- A terrifying truth to all combat, and one of the most efficient, simple attacks in Team Spirit. If an opponent can not keep track of Fear Leader for a certain amount of time, or leaves too many openings, she will always, without fail, produce a weapon and attack during their blind spot. This has proven effective at not only dealing with larger foes, but also rescuing members in trouble.
Spoiler:

Preferred Matches: Standard by herself, but any with her fellow members.

Characteristics

Personality:

Fear Leader is actually a fairly nihilistic, jaded individual who seems torn between having fun with her friends and being alone to herself. She is almost always second guessing her relationships with others, wondering if she truly has any friends with her or if they are simply co-workers that are just being friendly. As a result, she has a quiet demeanor. She never approaches anyone unless they had approached her previously and though she has a high position in the AFW Spirit Squad, she genuinely tries to help her fellow members with routines or issues they might be struggling with, though only because she would hope they do the same to her.

She wears her apathy on her sleeve not only for deceitful reasons, but as a defense mechanism. She can’t be hurt if she doesn’t care, and her deep seated insecurities tend to fester inside her whenever she’s alone. The only joy she had anymore is to dance in front of a crowd. And while she adores her friends inside the Team Spirit Squad, she also finds a deeply hidden resentment for them all, as she can never dance without them like she wants.

Past/History:

Martha McNamara was born in a family of artists. Her father was a well known local painter, while her mother composed and wrote music for small companies musical plays or commercial advertisements. While neither were world famous, their work had gone around to the point where you might have seen one of her Father’s pictures, or heard one of her mothers jingles and not even realized it. They lived a modest life, filled with simple pleasures and care. She didn’t always get what she wanted, but she was clothed, fed, and had a warm bed to sleep in. They loved her, and in return, she loved them.

But as little Martha grew up, so too did a dream. Martha understood the graceful strokes of her father’s paintbrush, and simple strums of her mother’s instruments, but what captured Martha’s young heart was the grace of a ballerina she had seen when she was young. The beautiful movements, the grace, the poise! Like a princess incarnate, this woman danced across the television screen and buried herself deep into Martha’s memories.

Years went by as Martha chased after that dream. Her parents put her in a school on her birthday. She went to all of her classes and practiced hard. She memorized every step, every pace she could. By her recollection, she did everything right all the way up into highschool. She danced through birthdays, holidays, and disease. She chased her dreams until that fateful graduation day. The day where she sent in her applications to higher forms of teaching, and got those fateful letters weeks later.

REJECTED.

First it was one letter. Then another. Then all of them. They all said the same thing in so many different words. None of the schools would take her, not without a high donation or an equally impossible recommendation from one of the senior staff members that she had never known or met. Such strict guidelines, such copious amounts of money. She needed to work, and so she did. She sent out work applications, typing up her resume to various studios, classes, and schools. But the only response she ever got back was from the fast food chain she had applied to out of desperation.

The world was a cold, cruel place. It had taken her years of her life before she came to one fateful realization that crushed her spirit. She would never be able to dance like the woman in her memories. She had neither the money, nor the exorbitant talent one needed to achieve such a thing.

Martha had already moved away to chase after job opportunities, and she found herself alone. No one around her calls a friend, her lifelong dream dead, leaving her little more than a walking corpse. She did her job, made her money, and danced in her lonely apartment. What was the point? Why was she here?

Such dark thoughts had been swirling around her head for a while. She never acted on them, but they were prevalent nonetheless. She couldn’t live her dream, and the work that did take her was sub par. In the end, what was her purpose? Such a question had no easy answer, and it wasn’t until an email came to her that she even had a clue.

A job...in Tokyo? Some group needed a cheerleader, and the site was asking her to apply. She’d never thought about cheerleading before...but a job was a job. She dressed up in an old outfit she had worn back in her highschool days, snapped a picture of herself and sent it in along with her resume.

And they got back to her.

Within a month, she found herself in Tokyo, being introduced to a whole team of girls she’d be working with. She’d not only get to dance, but dance in front of an audience! They’d provide her with pay, housing, and she'd be a part of their promotional campaign. It was like the pieces of her life were falling into place all at once. It was strange she couldn’t believe it! Was this a dream? Some sick joke?

Martha had finally found a place to belong. She wouldn’t dance alone like she wanted...but to dance in front of an audience, with her new teammates…

She could live with that~

Fun Facts:

Sucker- Has a tendency to chew on sugar free hard candy. Yes, even in fights.

I could be your Crush- Despite how she acts, she is thankful to the AFW for giving her a reason to dance again. Such feelings have eventually blossomed into an affectionate demeanor towards the General Manager, Maximilian Kingsley, as well as Angelica Valestein.

Pseudonym- Martha doesn’t like it when people call her by her name. She genuinely prefers “Fear Leader” over it since Martha is often an older person's name.

Don’t ask, Won’t Tell.- She has never told anyone her age, but it is confirmed she is above 22 years.
