Blue Imugi Vs. Jasper Rhys - Blue Shift II

"GIVE HER WHAT FOR JASPER!"

"DON'T GIVE UP, IMUGI! GET UP!"

Leaning back against the ring apron and taking a brief pause to catch his breath and rationalize his situation, Jasper would look down at his handiwork. A slight Pang of empathy for the Korean girl, She really didn't seem to mean any legitimate malice towards him, he barely knew anything about her to be honest other than the fact that she was really quite popular and supposedly of a higher caliber of talent than he was, apparently.

"THRASH HER GOOD JASPER LAD!"

"C'MON IMUGI! KICK HIS BRITISH ASS!"

Ignoring the near endless hurls of cheers and chants by the Welsh boy's fledgling fandom and the Cult of Imugi, Jasper stepped forward and finally noticed something as he wiped his face with his hand. "... Figures." He muttered to himself as he looked at the blood smeared onto his hand as he finally realized what that odd sensation on his face was, the small stream of dark red fluid still trickling down his face. With a casual shrug and a shake of his head, Jasper disregarded the nosebleed and returned focus to the match, leaning down and... actually offering a hand to help Imugi back up to her feet?

Well not really... Jasper had other plans in mind as he helped her up, having positioning the dazed and likely frustrated girl towards the ring apron and taking a step back, the boy would take a deep breath and spoke. "...I really don't have anything against you m'am, I just really want to win." he said with a genuine tone to his thickly accented voice, immediately then delivering the hardest and swiftest roundhouse kick he could muster into Imugi's face.

From a distance it probably didn’t look like the hardest hit that Imugi had ever taken, but that was the thing about getting hit in the back of the head. It didn’t matter at all how much power Jasper put into it. It still rattled her skull, left her kicking her heels, and would probably give her a headache in the morning. And here she thought that joining AFW would be a step down from all-out pit fighting.

Silly her, right?

A gentleman would at least offer her a hand up, and for a moment that was what the Welsh Boy seemed to be doing. Imugi let him carry her up from the floor but kept her guard up. She didn’t think he would throw away his advantage for the sake of his machismo. Then again, this was Tension. And Jasper was European. Therefore, unpredictable.

Imugi only found when she was back on two feet that Jasper was only half-stupid. He heard his words and recognized the apology of a very conflicted man; the kind of apology that came on the back of a roundhouse kick to a pretty girl’s face. A moment of hesitation that he probably shouldn’t have afforded. Her half-lidded eyes saw him shift his weight to his backfoot and connected the rest of the dots.

As Jasper’s leg left the floor, Imugi brought her leg around and moved to sweep his planted foot out from underneath him. If she managed to take him off balance and send him to his back, Imugi would be there to accompany him for the fall to the floor with an arm extended for a smooth elbow drop to his sternum.

Was Jasper a naive boy? Yes... Oh yes, he was.

... Was Imugi making him pay for his naivety? Oh, Absolutely. One moment the Welsh rookie thought he had the Korean right where he wanted her, The very next moment right after he raised his foot off the ground to deliver the kick, he now found himself falling backwards with arms flailing about desperately to regain balance in a somewhat humorous manner and Imugi practically falling atop him, her elbow aiming for his midsection primed to deliver a devastating blow that'd surely leave him sore for a few days... "Bother." was all Jasper could really mutter in response to this sudden change in fortunes before-

"-HUGHHKH!" A spray of spittle came from Jasper's mouth with a loud pained retch as an excruciating pain shot out from his abdomen all over his body from the force of Imugi's elbow slamming into his stomach, all the while a massive pop from the crowd left the little Brit practically dazed and confused... However, Imugi wouldn't be totally unscathed from the sudden reversal, as almost instinctually despite the pain he was suffering from that hard elbow-drop on his gut, once again Jasper plowed his knee right into the girl's six-pack with as much force as he could immediately muster, twice in a row with both knees, a desperate retaliation!

Should the knee-strikes had been successful, Jasper immediately attempted to crawl away from his opponent, desperate for a respite after that elbow-drop.

They didn’t call her Imugi for the striking resemblance to an ancient proto-dragon. It didn’t matter where she performed or who she ended up fighting. The Korean girl’s lithe and fluid movements chased after her prey and crashed down on them like flowing water. She didn’t get many opportunities to try out a reversal on someone shorter than her. It was a useful experience.

Welshie was her training dummy for the rest of the evening.

His death rattle was nice, but it was the mist of spittle that ejected from Jasper’s mouth that let Imugi know she’d scored a direct hit. Imugi came up on her side with the faintest smirk on her lips. Her arm reached across his and grabbed his opposite shoulder, intending to follow up his counter with- “Oof!”

Did he just knee her? Yeah, he did. With both legs. Imugi’s etched abdomen tensed when she felt him seize, grunting as she absorbed the second strike that came for her. He was quick with it too. Tough son of a gun. Maybe more than she gave him credit for.

But he had to be standing up for this to work. If anything, he just showed how desperate he was to escape. Something she fully intended to use against him.

As Jasper recoiled on the second knee strike, Imugi’s thighs clamped down and caught him by the ankle. When he tried to escape, her legs would simply reel him back, using her body weight as an anchor. Her eyes stared at him from across the length of their mingling physiques. “Leaving me already?"

With that, the Korean Girl turned with a twist of her hips, flipping them both onto their backs. From there Imugi would fall back and cross her legs around his shin, raising her hips as she locked in a signature figure-four leglock.

Those knee-strikes were really... Really quite underwhelming, Huh? Like watching an Anti-Tank gun fail miserably to scratch the paint of a tank, quite the demoralizing thing for the small British rookie to watch. The Korean seemed totally unfazed by it, and if anything seemed to relish in his suffering... Not really how he expected or wanted to spend his evening, to be honest.

"-Bloody W-Wha!?-" Was the hapless Welsh boy's only reply to Imugi's taunt as his ankle was crushed between her thighs and unceremoniously dragged him back into the midst of the Ghost Of Soul's wrath as quickly Jasper found himself flipped onto his back where his bright Hazel eyes came into contact with Imugi's dark blue and the boy finally realized what he was up against... a Dragon in Human form.

And then she put him in a Leg-lock.

Ah yes, The figure-four leglock. Not something he'd been subjected to since his brief stint in the UK indie scene... And from where both the Korean girl and the crowd were watching, they could all just tell the young Welsh lad was in quite a painful spot and was struggling to not show it, ultimately failing miserably to do so as he first let out a pained yelp before suppressing himself with a bite of his lips, however even as pain induced tears welled up in the plucky little Brit's eyes, and it seemed like Imugi had finally caught Jasper right where she wanted him, that fire of determination continued to burn hot in his hazelnut eyes as he thought his way out of the jam.

"...iechyd da." He said in a surprisingly taunting tone despite the look of pain his body language conveyed before leaning up as much as he could and grabbing as much of Imugi's zaffer-blue hair as he could, yanking her closely and then delivering a quick hook right into the left side of the Korean's face and then letting go to begin his escape plan with his opponent hopefully now dazed from the sudden attack... Was it a bit underhanded? Yeah, it was... But Jasper really didn't have any other options according to himself.

"Sorry!"

...Working his way through the pain of his ankles being bent and crushed between Imugi's legs in the awkward position, Jasper began to execute an escape method he saw on TV once... He didn't remember where he saw it from, but all he knew was that it seemed to work well against the figure-four.... First by grabbing both his and Imugi's legs and then forcibly, the Welsh boy attempted to flip himself over and onto his stomach to steal back the position from his Korean foe, thereby allowing himself the chance to slip away in a rather cat-like manner...

Nah, she wasn’t feeling bad about this.

She didn’t know where to place the blame for losing her sense of empathy for strangers. Maybe it was the paparazzi that hounded her at every turn? Or the relentless training that sacrificed her individuality for the sake of her idol career? Being a cog in the crushing reality of the ultra-capitalist machine that regarded her likeness as little more than another fleeting commodity to be bought and sold.

No. No, had to be that Dispatch article that leaked her favorite smoothie shop. Bastards.

Either way, things were going smoothly. He was slippery for a guy, but nothing she couldn’t handle. Imugi could keep this up all day as far she was concerned. Until she noticed the…tears? That was what they looked like but…no. No. Right?

“Dude, are you crying?” She couldn’t help gawking at him. “Come on, wuss. I didn’t even-”

Smack! A swift clap to the side of her face put her off balance for a moment. It was far from the hardest hit she’d taken. Barely a pinch in comparison to the haymakers she’d eaten from the 250-pound heavyweight she was calling her boyfriend now. But then he grabbed her hair, and things turned white. A literal, searing hot white pain that started in her aggravated hair follicles and quickly spread over the length and width of her body. When she came to, Jasper had slipped away, leaving Imugi sat on the floor with wide eyes and pursed lips.

Slowly, she stood from the floor and pointed a finger in his direction. “You are a dead man walking, Jasp.”

Well, That was a brilliant escape if Jasper ever saw one, Probably worthy of a Victoria Cross, the Welsh boy would have managed to get a good deal of distance between himself and the now thoroughly enraged Korean Dragon before him... watching her as she seemed to be initially stunned by the hair-pull face-strike combination before she slowly began getting back up to her feet, a look of pure spite scrawled upon Imugi's face as she rose...  


So! With the threat of Imugi's seething wrath now dawning upon him, Jasper took a deep breath and spoke in reply to her. "When I'm through with you..." He said in an attempt to sound dramatic, a cheeky grin on his face. "You'll be familiar with the phrase 'Blues and Twos' cos' you'll be needing an ambulance!..." ... Okay, that sounded MUCH better in his head, but that wasn't the matter, No he was already rushing towards her at speed as she got back to her feet and with a determined look on his face set about delivering the hardest knee-strike he could muster right into her face. Imagining in his mind that the force of the impact to be something similar to what happens when an express freight train smashed into a car stalled upon the level crossing at top speed...

Should his strike been as successfully devastating as he hoped to god that it was, The boy would almost immediately break off and scurry up into the ring like a frightened little Manx cat, expecting Imugi to come up even angrier now but hopefully worse for wear.
