Ms. Spencer vs. Jackpot

Once she heard the ref count out, "Three!", Jackpot would drop Miss Spencer's leg and covered her face with both hands as she sobbed. She thought that she wouldn't succeed in the pin the second time and now she finally won. All she wanted to do was represent for her hometown in Ireland but she failed to do it the first time. Now, the Irish girl can be proud that she made her heritage proud.

Wiping her eyes as she stood up, Jackpot's hand was raised by the ref to declare her the winner. The Irish girl would humbly bow as she tried to fight her tears of happiness. Then she began to whisper to the ref about something, it quite surprised the ref but she nodded. Jackpot would soon get to the edge of the ring and reached under it to take out a small bag. Going over to the teacher, she would smile and say, "Miss Spencer...yeh did a good job today. I thank yeh for the opportunity to fight you and in return, I would like to help you." She took out an ice pack, a towel, and water bottle and offered a hand to help pull her up.

Miss Spencer lied there for a long time after Jackpot rose off of her body. She hadn't won, but...she wasn't upset. It was a good match, and both herself and Jackpot had fought hard. Slowly she opened her eyes, staring upwards until the redheaded girl entered her vision. She smiled a bit, and when Jackpot reached down towards her, she gladly accepted her hand.

"Help me...?" She asked curiously as the younger girl helped her up, wondering what she meant.

"Yeah!" Jackpot exclaimed cheerfully. "I got yeh a water bottle, some ice, and even a towel to dry yeh off. Just a way of saying thank yeh." She offered the items to Miss Spencer and hoped that the teacher will accept them. It has been a rough match so both women needed the rest. "Say after this, yeh want me to treat yeh out for a bite to eat? It's all gonna be on me!"

Miss Spencer smiled a bit as she got back on her feet, completely worn out, but pleased with Jackpot's good sportsmanship. She took the towel and started to rub down her face, then went to open the water bottle, raising an eyebrow at the redhead's question.

"I wouldn't mind getting something to eat after I get the chance to rest, but...are you sure?"

Jackpot smiled as she nodded her head in response. "Hey, I can't always keep m'pot of gold full. I'd like to use it rather than keep it for m'self. It's more fun that way when you have friends." She now considers Miss Spencer as a friend and hoped that they both can have a bite to eat as they spend some time together.

Miss Spencer gave her a nod and a smile. The referee drew near, handing Miss Spencer her glasses, which she then slid slowly onto her face.

"Alright then...if you insist, I suppose I could go for something to eat."

"Great!" exclaimed Jackpot jumping for joy. "Come with me then!" She would offer a hand to the teacher to help walk her out of the ring. She really enjoyed this match with one of her favorite stars and couldn't wait to watch her next fight. "Did I mention I'm a huge fan of yours, Miss Spencer?"

Miss Spencer took Jackpot's hand, amazed the girl still had so much energy. She allowed her to escort her from the ring, smiling at her youthful exuberance.

"You did not, I'm afraid..."
