Height/Weight Ratio Guide Empty Height/Weight Ratio Guide

The following is an article Kelsea wrote when the AFW was in the Monty's Porn... I mean, the Free Adult Boards. It regards the weights adequate for a character. If you're uncertain if your character is too lanky or too fat, this little guide might help you.

This is just a quick guide to help people when considering height and weight stats for their bios... You don't have to stay within these guide lines (if for instance you want a obese wrestler), but to have your character at either extreme ends of the range or outside it would mean your character would normally be particularly thin or fat (If you character is particularly fat or muscular, maybe they belong at nearer the extreme top range... Or if your character is thin with little fat or muscles, then perhaps the nearer the lower end of the range is better). The range I've compiled is an approximation of HEALTHY height/weight ratio between 4'6 and 6'6.

The Body mass index which I took the readings from is on a website I found via a search for "The department of health and human science: centers of disease control and prevention" ...Just so you know I didn't just make up these ranges myself.

Unfortunately these ranges generalize for both males and females (males pulling up the range slightly for usually having more weight then females), and do not take into consideration that these stats would be for wrestlers (having more muscle weight)... So it will be slightly inaccurate, but I'm hoping that these two points will kinda cancel each other out kinda:

4'6
underweight: 77 lbs and under
overweight: 104 lbs and over

4'8
underweight: 82 lbs and under
overweight: 112 lbs and over

4'10
underweight: 88 lbs and under
overweight: 120 lbs and over

5'0
underweight: 94 lbs and under
overweight: 128 lbs and over

5'2
underweight: 101 lbs and under
overweight: 137 lbs and over

5'4
underweight: 107 lbs and under
overweight: 146 lbs and over

5'6
underweight: 115 lbs and under
overweight: 155 lbs and over

5'8
underweight: 122 lbs and under
overweight: 165 lbs and over

5'10
underweight: 128 lbs and under
overweight: 175 lbs and over

6'0
underweight: 136 lbs and under
overweight: 184 lbs and over

6'2
underweight: 144 lbs and under
overweight: 195 lbs and over

6'4
underweight: 152 lbs and under
overweight: 205 lbs and over

6'6
underweight: 160 lbs and under
overweight: 216 lbs and over
