Blossom Fields vs. Jamie Valentine - Vertically Challenged

Blossom rarely took pleasure in actually causing pain, but she had to admit, hitting Jamie in the face was thoroughly enjoyable. Really, hitting her at all was - the girl was more slippery than an eel covered in grease. Even now, she was already trying to scoot away and get as far from Blossom as she could.

Not happening. Not if Blossom could help it. And she could.

Blossom squirmed to her knees and crawled after her, hopping forward to try and grab her by the ankles. "Oh, no you don't!"

Jamie's progress halted suddenly and she flopped on her stomach. Her head ached as she looked back over her shoulder in horror at the hideous beast behind her.

"You let go of me RIGHT NOW YOU STUPID NUT SACK!" She screamed, and began thrashing wildly, kicking at Blossom and claw her way to the ropes. She tried army crawling, briefly, but that was no more effective and she thrashed again and shrieked frantically. Why wasn't the ref calling for the break? The ropes weren't even that far away!

Jamie was thrashing like a live wire, but Blossom had worked hard as heck to just get this far - nothing less than a crowbar was getting her to let go now.

She was getting close to the ropes, though, so she'd have to let her go soon, and any submission would be short lived...unless...

"You want me to let you go?" Blossom stood up. "Fine!"

This was a move Blossom always wanted to do, but her opponents were usually too big for it to really work. Jamie, though? Jamie was just the right size.

Pulling back, Blossom tried to get Jamie's ankles under her arms and hold them there - if she can do that much with Jamie's thrashing, she'll start to twirl around for the Big Swing, spinning them both around and around and around and around and around and around and around...then tossing Jamie away and letting momentum do the rest of the work, while she spiraled away.

Jamie fought against it at first, clutching her arms against her head and letting out a long wail as she went around and around, but after a couple trips she realized it was actually pretty fun. Like a free ride.

She relaxed and let her arms dangle over her head until Blossom let her go. She thudded against the mat and quickly got up, only to wobble and drunkenly topple over. Her second try didn't work out any better, so instead she rolled under the ropes and out of the ring, and began crawling on her hands and knees away from the ring. The sick feeling in her stomach wasn't so great. As she reached the barricade, she changed directions and crawled along it while the crowd booed.

Blossom would have immediately capitalized herself, if she wasn't almost as dizzy as Jamie was. That was a fun move, but now that she'd done, actually experienced it first hand, it was a little pointless. It wasn't like Jamie was all that hurt by it, and she probably would have been better off going into a boston crab. Oh, well;, it was good for the cameras.

She steadied herself and saw Jamie crawling out of the ring - she almost ran after her and leaped off the top rope to try and hit her with an elbow, but Blossom was no high flyer, and Jamie was just lucky enough for that to miss. But, as near as she could figure, Jamie went into matches expecting her opponents to act normal - when they threw her curveballs, she was quick to trip up. So she intended to stick with that strategy.

She got on her hands and knees and rolled off to the side landing on the other side of the ring and staying low. She peeked out from the corner just in time to see Jamie changing direction away from her, and she crawled quick after her and tried to get behind her without being noticed. If she can close the distance, she'll jump up, land on Jamie's back, and try to get her in a rear naked choke.

Jamie looked up while the room continued to spin, and saw the entrance ramp laid out ahead of her like a runway. She changed course fifteen degrees starboard, and kept crawling at her utterly disabled pace. Given enough time, she'd just crawl right back up the ramp and never come back. She didn't want to barf in front of everybody.

She let out a high-pitched cry like a squeaky toy as Blossom's weight flattened her out, and for a moment she was concerned about how her chin bumped off the floor before she felt the choke sink in. Her eyes squeezed shut and she tried to turtle her neck in and dig her chin into Blossom's forearm, but it was no use. She clutched at the girls arm and tugged, but she was already crushing her neck. She kicked her feet against the floor, left right left right. At least she didn't have to worry about blowing chunks anymore.

She had her! Now all Blossom had to do was hold on and get a submission or knock...her...out.

Oh. Right. They were outside the ring. She had to get Jamie inside the ring to win - in fact, it sounded like the ref was already starting the count. Which gave Blossom an idea. Sort of.

It actually presented an interesting little Gordian knot. On one hand, she could just keep choking Jamie - which was incredibly satisfying, by the way - then let go at the last second and run into the ring, leaving Jamie to get counted out. That would be a pretty cheap way to win and she felt bad about it, as if she were depriving the audience of something...but then, they did seem to hate Jamie pretty bad, already; they might not even care how she lost so long as she lost. And it wasn't like she was going to get a decent match out of Jamie, anyway.

...gah, dang it, curse her conscience. She wasn't going to stoop to Jamie's level to get a win.

She'll hold the choke for a few more seconds, before letting go, lifting her up, and tossing her back in the ring, then following right after her.

Jamie took a deep breath and bent one leg out to the side, put a hand to her throat, when she was released. The warm, fuzzy after effects of oxygen deprivation made for a more pleasant recovery, so long as she forgot that the match was still going on, but she was reminded of that before long.

She flopped up onto the ring apron and stayed exactly where Blossom put her. Not quite in the ring, but rather under the ropes, the sort of situation that would've caused controversy if it were tennis. It was a moot point once Blossom followed her in and broke the count.

Okay, they were back in the ring - now, what?

Jamie looked pretty much dead to the world for the time being, so it seemed like Blossom had her pick of the litter. A powermove? Throwing her around could be fun? Maybe something risky, like a frog splash off the top rope? No, too risky, better to play it safe.

...a submission hold.

Taking Jamie by the leg, Blossom will drag her to the center of the ring turn her on her back, and then attempt to put Jamie in the Boston Crab she should have done earlier.

Jamie groaned and started to roll right back out of the ring until Blossom grabbed hold of her leg. She shook her head, gripped with a sudden lucidity as she grabbed at the ropes and clawed at the mat to keep from being dragged away. She grabbed onto the bottom rope with one hand, only for her hand to slip off.

"STTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!" She whined while her fingernails left eight little trenches in the canvas. She pulled herself up on her elbows before Blossom sat down into the boston crab her back felt like it was going to explode and shower the first ten rows in hot gore. She let out a tortured scream and tried to pull herself toward the sanctuary of the ropes on her elbows, but Blossom weighed a million pounds and Arnold Schwarzenegger wouldn't have been able to make it five feet.

"GAAAWD, THIS IS WAY WORSE THAN BEING CHOKED!"
