Old Times Sake

Alaina had crashed and burned. She crashed hard which was bad enough, writhing in agony on the mat as she collided with the canvas wondering where Julia was.

That question was answered quickly as the high flying Julia came down on top of the downed amazin causing a howl of pain as she flopped her limbs on the mat as Julia brought the amazons momentum to a crashing halt!

Julia panted after splashing down onto Alaina, collective damage and exhaustion wearing on her. But adrenaline was starting to kick in, making it easier to push through and keep going. It had taken a lot of time and a lot of pain, but this was it. This was her chance to turn things back around!

Knowing it would take more than one big splash to keep someone like Alaina down for the count, Julia didn't even bother trying for a pin. Instead she grabbed onto the Amazon's wrist with one hand, while the other scooped behind her head. She gradually guided the woman back toward a vertical base. The second Alaina was on her feet again, used her grip on the woman's wrist to pull herself in, before twisting herself and swinging her legs up and attempting to clamp them around her friend's head. If it worked, she'd follow through with her spinning motion and try to use her legs to hurl the champ right back down to the mat with a headscissor takedown!

Alaina felt herself pulled up and she groaned trying to recover but she was unable to as Julia kept up the pressure! The amazon was hauled up and felt Julia grab hold after leaping up twisting and sending the heavy body of the amazon crashing down hard to the canvas again!

Alaina moaned in pain, reaching up to pry at Julia's legs hoping to prevent a choking headscissor from being locked in! She was not at all in control anymore. In fact Alaina was in a good deal of agony as she was reeling, trying to keep up with the speedy surging Julia!

Again Julia's acrobatics worked to her advantage, sending the champ right back down to the mat. Her plan had been to follow up with a headscissor, keeping Alaina's head trapped between her legs in a painful squeeze after taking her down. Her legs remained clasped, but her position on the hold wasn't great, and Alaina's prying hands were making it difficult to adjust without giving the woman enough room to escape.

It was tempting to let go, reset and try again. But as well as Julia's high octane offense was doing for her now, she didn't want to risk gassing out and giving Alaina a chance to turn the tables again. So instead she grabbed the Amazon's wrists, and tried to yank them back just long enough to allow Julia to shift closer and re-apply her hold. If it worked, then this time she'd have Alaina's head secured nice and tight between her thighs, with one leg bending around the champion's neck and the foot tucking behind the knee of Julia's other leg. A Figure Four Headscissor. It wasn't a move she employed often, but she had learned its effectiveness when Valley Doll had applied it to her in their past bouts. She wasn't sure she could make Alaina submit with this, but that was fine. Julia just wanted to wear the bigger girl down while exerting as little of her own energy as possible for now.

Alaina groaned as her wrists were pulled back and the headscissor was locked in! She kicked her legs and thrashed about, trying to pull her arms free and get back to clawing at Julia's legs. However at the moment Alaina was very much stuck unable to escape! She thrashed and bucked about, kicking the mat and continuing to try to free her hands as the reeling amazon was really struggling against Julia now that Julia had control!

"I know we ain't exactly an item, but... still didn't think... you'd complain so much 'bout bein' between my thighs," Julia teased with a faint grin, her words coming out through grunts while she strained to keep Alaina restrained in her hold. It was no small effort. It reminded the cowgirl to trying to stay on a bucking bull or bronco, but this wasn't her first rodeo.

That said, Alaina's thrashing, whether intended or not, was bringing the Amazon closer to the ropes. And while Julia had managed to pull the woman's hands away long enough to apply her headscissor, her arms simply weren't strong enough to hold Alaina's back any longer than that. So she had little choice but to tolerate the highly uncomfortable clawing at her legs with a pained grimace, and keep squeezing Alaina's head as much as she could until the champ either broke free or reached the ropes.

"Nggghhhh........ARGH! ARGH!" That was about all the amazon could muster in reply to Julia, continuing to thrash about. She knew she was closer to the ropes but wanted to try to break free of her own accord.... but it was taking too long! Alaina howled and choked out a wheezing cry as she kept pulling and bucking before reaching her leg over to the bottom rope for the rope break!

Julia released her hold as soon as Alaina's foot made contact with the rope, albeit with a small bit of reluctance. It wasn't so much that she had been tempted to cheat by holding the headscissor even after the rope break. Rather, she just really appreciated what a good job the hold had been doing of wearing Alaina down and had wanted to keep it up as long as possible.

But maybe she'd done enough. Quickly rolling away from the Amazon, Julia moved to stand by the ropes, trying to stay in the blind spot of her foe's visage. Once Alaina started to pick herself up, the masked blonde would wait until she was about halfway before making her next move. Bolting in, she'd take one great, running leap before kicking a leg up high, then aiming to bring the boot down over the back of Alaina's head and neck with the cowgirl's signature Axe Kick!

Alaina was down and hurting with Julia running her down! The champ hadn't been reeling like this in quite some time even in some of her title matches! Alaina grit her teeth pulling herself up and feeling a bit frustrated. As she was pushing herself up though a tremendous force smashed the back of her head sending her crashing back to the mat in a heap! Alaina let out a low, weak moan and flopped down to the canvas, barely moving save for her leg kicking the mat in pain leaving her seemingly on the verge of being knocked out!

Julia felt something the moment her kick connected. A spark of hope that went beyond merely seeing an opportunity in some arbitrary spar. The cowgirl had struggled to find her top form again since coming back to this league, but in that instant, it felt like she was watching pieces start to fit back into place right in front of her. She had the world champion in dire straights, and a chance to secure a victory!

There wasn't a single spectator present for this private spar. No screaming crowd to cheer her on, or raucous chants filling the room. But she could see it all in her mind's eye. This moment felt more important than any she had felt in the ring in a long time, and she intended to make the most of it!

Hurrying over to Alaina, she grunted while rolling her over onto her back, the scurried off to the nearest corner, where she grabbed onto the ropes and began climbing. Her feet came to rest on the top rope, with her back facing her target. The luchadora took one glance over her shoulder to gauge the distance. Then she straightened, and launched herself into her finishing corkscrew moonsault, the Stardust Press, hoping to crash down onto the champion with enough force to put her away and end this spar!
