Miss Penance VS The Seeker of Enlightenment (DEBUT) - Start of 2023!

Miss Penance could see the monk grit her teeth. Perhaps the taunting towards Natsumi was starting to pay off. Natsumi had Juniper put her arm over the back of her neck. Miss Penance assumed that Natsumi still needed some help in getting off the mat.

Miss Penance was giving off a smile towards Natsumi, until...

...the pain junkie took an open-palm strike towards the solar plexus chakra. Miss Penance was caught too off-guard. Her chest went on fire from her nerves getting hit. A pained gasp erupted from Miss Penance's lips, stumbling backwards before falling onto the mat, clutching the area below her bosom.

"W...w.. WHAT MARTIAL ARTS MOVIE BULLSHIT DID YOU USE ON ME!?" Miss Penance's voice showed that she was in a state of pain, confusion and anger. Miss Penance was trying to get herself propped up, but the monk looked like she was not done.

Natsumi was no stranger to applying her martial arts when need be, when such force was needed the monk would often use it in a swift and decisive manner and strike at key areas to dismantle her opponent. Miss Penance likely would be feeling that one in the morning. The monk breathed in and out when she had struck the blonde in the solar plexus as the teachings had instructed her to do so.

The monk would keep her calm gaze focused on Miss Penance as she lay there and state "My arts are very much better than any film, I can shatter planks of wood with that palm strike!" but it got the point across at least that Miss Penance best watch out and not take the monk too lightly here in this fight. It seemed that Natsumi's opponent was making to recover there, at least as one who just had their chest caved in as best they could at least!

The seeker would crouch low there, her arms outstretched to the side as she eyed Miss Penance like a hawk. Before then giving a loud "Seiiiya!" before trying to spin around and clip her opponent in the side of the head with an attempted buzzsaw kick!

Miss Penance was trying to get the air back in her lungs. She was pulling herself up with the usage of the ropes, where Natsumi mentioned that her palm strikes can shatter planks of wood.

"I'll be happy to throw you headfirst into planks of wood..." Miss Penance mouthed directly at Natsumi, until she spotted Natsumi crouching down, still dazed from the palm strike at her chest. Then, Penance realized that Natsumi was pulling off another attack.

In the middle of a split second, Miss Penance jerked herself away from the ropes, just as Natsumi attempted her kick. Miss Penance stumbled against one of the posts, but she knew that Natsumi wasn't done.

Natsumi might or might not have caught the seemingly non verbal comment from Penance there, but even if she had it likely wouldn't have fazed the monk all that much. Her years of meditative introspection had taught Natsumi the methods of managing to keep a cooler head under pressure than most people, still the attack failed to connect there.

Were it to have done so Penance likely would have had a case of severe head trauma, but the blonde managed to wriggle outta harm's way there in time. Natsumi remained unfazed outwardly though as she kept an expression of calmness on her there, the opponent shuffled away from the ropes to the corner.

The monk wouldn't hesitate there as she felt that her opponent was cornered now, poised to be delivered a powerful follow-up blow that could make Miss Penance surely feel repentance. Bouncing on her heels Natsumi would try to rush forward and seek to lunge straight forward with a leaping jumping side kick aimed at Miss Penance's gut there if she didn't get out in time!

Miss Penance wondered why she hadn't arranged a sparring match when it came to new wrestlers. She can't really complain that much. She was fighting debut wrestlers, beating one of them and currently fighting another.

That monk would have cracked her skull from that kick. Penance ended up getting cornered, but she wanted to try a new signature move that she had prepared. It was a simple move. Extremely dirty, but considering what Natsumi did to her chest, she can show that she wasn't going to play around.

Natsumi looked ready to lunge forward. Penance didn't have time to think. Her intentions were to counter Natsumi by delivering a hefty palm strike aimed at her face, however it was obvious that even if Penance managed to land a hit, she would get sent flying back into the post with a high probability.

Natsumi was never one to really hesitate in her movements, or her decisions in general. It wasn't good karma to be hindered by such a thing as doubts and concerns that couldn't be addressed with contemplation and forward progressing to the answer, but that was the issue with committing to the attack fully. Couldn't really change your course, the monks probably would have done the exact same thing there. And Natsumi was about to get her gong rang there and not in the nice meditative kind of way.

Because the next thing the monk knew got domed right on the noggin there, that palm strike would catch Natsumi mid kick and the next thing the seeker knew she was on the floor splayed out. Her eyes lightly blinking as her mind struggled to comprehend just what had occurred there and thus Natsumi would embark on a momentary mental journey inward, albeit not one of her own volition there as little monkeys flew around her head in her own blurry field of view.......

"A-Aggg......wu-wukong........" Natsumi deliriously muttered as she'd roll to her left side as her brain ran damage control best she could, leaving her dazed and reeling for the time being!

Sure enough, after Penance managed to strike Natsumi, she got sent flying back to the post from a kick to the gut that again knocked the wind out of her. Damn, her chest was hurting bad. Clover was going to have a field day with her when she had to rest up.

Miss Penance had to process the scene on what had happened. Natsumi was slumped on the mat on her left side. Penance still had some stamina in her, though. She used her arms to climb back against the ropes, trying to make sure she got a moment to get her strength together to stand.

Afterwards, Miss Penance walked towards Natsumi, seeing the dazed monk. Penance clenched her fist together, thinking of doing a fist drop on her. She held it over Natsumi, thinking it out.

"Hmm.." Penance shook her head. She had a simpler idea. She immediately grabbed at Natsumi to get her to stand up. The monk was either seeing stars or delirious. No matter. Penance went back to back with Natsumi, hooking her arms, so that she can do a familiar signature move on her. The Gory Bomb!

Making sure that Natsumi was hooked correctly, Penance bended her body..

Natsumi was no stranger to being left a reeling mess on the ground, it came with the territory of sparring and battling to protect her beliefs among other things. Now though Miss Penance had made sure that the monk had crashed and burned hard leaving her open to whatever the blonde might want to do next here in the match, as it turned out Miss Penance had just the right idea in mind to put the seeker of enlightment through some suffering there!

The monk stirred loosely in her opponent's grasp there, until she became aware of being lifted there by Penance. It was as if she'd been hefted upwards in search of Nirvana, only to then find herself staring upwards at the lights there..........that felt odd......but not at all bad there. That was until gravity did the rest there and made it so that Natsumi was falling down hard from grace and tasting the ring canvas!

"Guah!" Natsumi grunted out as she was nailed hard there, the monk was left a splayed out mess on the mat there as she could only help but think of the mighty wheel known as Samsara there........

Penance stretched her back. Natsumi was left scrawled over the mat, face down. Penance assumed that Natsumi was down for the count already.

Penance reached down to flip Natsumi up. A pin on Natsumi should do the trick.

Penance crouched down and raised up Natsumi's leg, letting the referee begin the countdown.

Alright Natsumi had gotten her temple gong rang quite badly there, it was time for some serious contemplations about the current state of affairs. The monk was remembering the rules of pro wrestling matches in her mind at this very moment, to do what she could in order to prevent the pain from affecting her senses too much there.

So when Penance was able to hook up Natsumi's leg there it was able to make the monk realise where she was at the current moment in time, not helping matters was the fact the ref had slapped on the mat and yelled "ONE!" That roused the monk back into the current moment and summoning the inner strength of buddha Natsumi would make to kick out sharply there just before the ref would count for the second time there! The seeker would roll to the side and pant rapidly there as she shook her head, getting the cobwebs out of her mind as it were.

"I must press on......w-where were we?" Natsumi muttered as she sought to get into a crouched ready posture in the hopes of responding to whatever Miss Penance might attempt against her here in response to the kickout!
