Miss Penance VS The Seeker of Enlightenment (DEBUT) - Start of 2023!

That monk was crawling towards Penance. She seemed out of breath after that failed shining wizard move, which to her credit would have knocked out Juniper.

However, Penance had another idea. She immediately began to grab at the ropes, using them to climb up with her back to the audience. Leaning back briefly, she used the momentum to get herself on top of Natsumi.

For Natsumi, it might have looked like she was about to get pinned, but Penance was trying to get herself to lay on her chest, so that she can hook her knees around Natsumi's legs.

Anyone who had watched a previous fight with Miss Penance would recognize what she was about to do towards the monk.

Natsumi was reeling from the length of the match and that decisive blow she had attempted had arguably taken out just as much of the monk as it might have out of Miss Penance there, but then again it had been made clear that Penance was also one tough lady that could hang with any trained martial artist.

Still it seemed that grappling on the ground was something that the monk was lacking in her training as she was only able to wince and writhe there in the grapple as Penance managed to get hold of her legs there from the looks of things. Natsumi could only manage out a few hisses and grunts as her body was creaking from Penance's grappling skills there as the length of the bout was making it very unlikely for her to escape now!

The monk was securely in place.

Now came the rude awakening for Natsumi.

All Penance needed to do was jerked herself back, keeping her knees hooked, where towards the audience and the folks watching at home, Penance had rolled onto her back, as Natsumi was being subjected to a Mexican Surfboard.

The monk was probably in pain, but Penance was enjoying herself.

Natsumi could feel it as she was locked in that hold, this was her pretty much spent now from the looks of it. She could feel her limbs being contorted in that surfboard as Penance managed to cinch it in now, that was getting to the point where the monk's spirit to be in the fight was more or less done now in the battle. She could feel it in the ache in her bones and it was looking like.........

Yeah Natsumi was packing it in here her limbs were aching and weighing twice their usual mass in the monk's mind, she groaned loudly and then yelled to the ref "Aggggh I-I yield!" Natsumi was writhing about in this hold as it was clear that she was done and dusted in this bout, she'd fought well enough in her mind at least though.

The referee signaled towards Penance that she had to release Natsumi. Annoyed, she loosened her grip on the monk and gave her a small toss to the side. Miss Penance was getting herself up, keeping her eyes locked with Natsumi.

"You're the second chick who couldn't last more than 10 seconds! Don't you want enlightenment? Nirvana?" Miss Penance sounded pissed at Natsumi. It was however justified, since Penance's chest was still sore from that palm strike.

Well Natsumi was no stranger to coming up short in a bout, heck she had been bested in the first proper fight she had when she had departed from her temple there. Still Natsumi would be taking this in stride as she had been let go there by Miss Penance, who as Natsumi likely suspected took the chance to hurl barbs and slings towards the monk. Yet even here after the length of the bout the monk wasn't one to fly off the handle, instead she merely made a fist into palm gesture towards Penance.

"Peace there. I merely wished for a good bout and you provided it upon me. I'll let you bask in your victory, farewell." and with that Natsumi would make to exit the ring there, she had done alright in her performance there. After all in order to first step towards nirvanas of pleasure one had to be tough and durable to get there, Natsumi would muse upon this as she wandered up the ramp contemplating that perhaps she should follow the way of the wrestler after all perhaps.

It took a moment for Penance to realize what Natsumi was doing.

When she yielded, she actually yielded.

Penance didn't stop her. She watched her slip out of the ring with Juniper's victory being given to her. Juniper did want to say something to Natsumi. Maybe to get her hopes up, but the monk was already going up the ramp.

The referee was there to declare Miss Penance's win.

Penance clenched up her fist and raised it up in the air.

The crowds were cheering now.
