Painting the Town Red(headed)

"Eh, me and my folks never really saw eye-to-eye. It wasn't bad or anything, but it really wasn't that good either. I haven't even really spoken with 'em in a while... Emma trailed off for a second, losing herself in some thoughts. Getting too negative was bad when alcohol was involved, so she quickly shifted gears, trying to keep her spirits up. "It's waaaay more fun here anyway, so I can't really complain!"

"What was it you didn't agree on? I mean, their your parents. They love you, I'm sure of it. Whatever you were at ends on, I'm sure it wasn't that bad." Juniper never understood disagreements between parents and kids.

She never had them. "Japan is hella trill, like so much." Shel laughed, gigging Emma a hearty slap on the back.

"It wasn't bad or anything, they were just always so serious and proper, 'n that just wasn't me." Jolted a little hard by Juniper's rough slap, Emma managed to prevent her drink from spilling, a technique learned well from experience. "Haha, sometimes it makes me wonder what part of the family my personality came out of."

"Ahh" That was the case, the argument over being proper and following rules. "If that's the case, then you just follow your heart and your impulsive head. I'm sure they'll understand. If not, then... Oh well." She shrugged and turns back to her Sex On The Beach and drank more.

"Well that's more or less what I've been doing already. Heheh..." Emma chuckled a bit, before downing the last of her whiskey. "Mmm... Whiskey may be an Scottish thing, but the Japanese sure do a good job of it too."

"I dont like those strong drinks. I prefer the fruity things, as much as I am a tomboy. I mean, I have to have some sort of girliness to me..." Juniper finishes her drink and smiles. "What were you doing before I met up with ya?"

Only now does she realize that Emma wad partly drunk. And it wasn't from just one drink... "You...Okay, Emma?"

"Haha, I've been hopping around bars all night. It's a pretty usual thing for me." Emma grinned, starting to feel her buzz kicking in again. Noticing that Juniper had finished her drink as well, she grabbed her by the hand. "Hey, let's go dance!"

So...Emma was bar hopping. Juniper wasn't one to drink. She didn't like it as much as Emma's drunk ads seemed to. Suddenly, the redhead felt her hand getting grabbed by the other redhead! She gasps softly. "Uhh...D-Dance?" What did Juniper know from dancing besides watching her mother smoothly dance to her music. Akin to Woodstock.

"C'monnnn! Don't tell me you never danced before" Emma said cheerily, dragging along the much bigger Juniper along with her towards the dance floor. She didn't really know anything about dancing either, but really most clubs and such nowadays were more about just hip movement and grinding, two things Emma did know a lot about. "Uhhhmmmmm... Kind think about it like fighting, but like... Not actually trying to hurt people...?" Emma suggested, trying to come up with a suitable comparison but failing miserably. Other than mechanics, which of course she knew nothing about, fighting was pretty much the only other thing she figured Juniper might kind of get.

"Uhhhh...." Juniper bit her lip as they approach the dance floor. She was uneasy about a few things. This was one of those few things. What she assumed was dancing in this day and age involved grinding.....She wasn't doing that.

Juniper decides to go for it, however. She had to do everything once, right? "Alright...I'll try..."
