"Adrenaline... sure it is." It was clear by her tone Kena didn't believe Maddie, but she wouldn't push it any further. Once she got to the back room of the dojo she began looking around, trying to pick a DVD. "Hm..." She figured something simple would do. Something they could talk through without worry of the movie being too boring.

"Ah, here's a good one." She said, grabbing the case. "It's about a female samurai searching for her father's killer. It's pretty entertaining."

"Oooohh, that one sounds cool!" Maddie answered excitedly. Of course, while her genre of choice was usually... erotic in nature, her childish personality also enjoyed edgy action stories. Not to mention female main characters often mean at least a few scenes of fanservice...

Stepping into the back room as well, Maddie glanced around, looking for a place to set her lazy butt down. "Ah, so where are we gonna watch it?"

"I have a TV set and DVD player back here. We can just stay right in her and watch it if you want. The microwave and popcorn at in here too." Of course, the back room itself was a little small, but it had all they'd need for the movie and they wouldn't be too cramped inside. However, Kena had another reason for wanting to watch the movie in here. The last thing she wanted was any of the kids she taught to bug them while watching and come inside, or have to explain to them why Maddie was here and how they met. It'd make things... complicated. That and the movie wasn't exactly PG, so it's better not to watch something like that in her windowed dojo. "So... is it alright if we watch this in here?"

"Yeah, this is fine!" The small (and rather intimate) setting worked for Maddie. Sprawling herself out on the floor in front of the TV, she stretched out her limbs to loosen up her stiffened joints and let out a content sigh. If they turned the lights off to watch the movie, it'd make for a pretty attractive set up, although she remained quite wary about what might happen if she actually did try and make a move...

Well that saved Kena some trouble, though she was a little surprised by how Maddie was willing to stay in the backroom. "Alright then, I'll start the movie." Without delay, Kena placed the DVD in the player and started preparing the popcorn. This was going to be nice. It had be awhile since Kena had a friend over to do anything, much less watch a movie. Actually, this was the first time in awhile she had a chance to hang out with a friend in years due to all the training she did. "You know Maddie-chan, I'm really happy you came over. You're probably the first friend I've made here in Japan."

"R-really...?" Flustered by Kena's candor, Maddie blushed red and found herself at a bit of a loss for words. Actual emotional intimacy wasn't really a strong point of her's, and the rather close setting didn't help. As some embarrassing thoughts floated into her lewd little mind, she subtlety glanced off to the side, hoping Kena wasn't looking at the expression on her face.

"Of course!" She replied, taking a seat next to Maddie as she started the film. "I was pretty sure I scared you off after our match." Given how brutal the fight was, seeing Maddie still willing to hang out with her and still keep her childish personality was a pleasant surprise. She knew her sadistic side would push people away at some point, but it was nice know her first opponent still liked her.

"Actually, you're kind of crazy Maddie-chan." She said with a smile. "Someone says they're going to break you physically and emotionally next time you fight them and you come to the very place they train?" She turned to Maddie, noting the blush on her face. It seemed her words might had gotten to the girl. I guess she doesn't have many friends either... She figured, giving the girl's forehead a flick. "Do you use all that adrenaline and endurance you have for masochism Maddie-chan?" She was teasing her of course, but she did wonder.

"N-n-no way!" Maddie put a hand to her forehead, looking right at Kena with an exasperated expression and a bright red face. Just because she was good at taking a beating, certainly didn't mean she liked it! Maybe if it was like from a cute girl it wouldn't be that bad, but...

"A-a-and you're the one that said all those weird things!" she pointed at her host accusingly, trying to change the subject. "I-I... I just assumed that was like your stage persona or s-s-something! Don't... don't tell me you really ARE into that kinda stuff...?

"Oh?" Seeing Maddie reaction was Kena's word was just too priceless. She almost felt bad about teasing her like this... almost, but there was no way she wasn't going to give Maddie a good scare while she had the chance.

"And what if I was Maddie-chan? A girl joining a large and violent league like the AFW just to get into brutal fights and hurt people doesn't sound too unrealistic does it?" She asked, slowly crawling toward her with a smirk. "Maybe I was being nice just to get you in here, alone, and bully you with no one watching~"

"Urrk...!" Maddie recoiled in the face of Kena's sound logic. She was only in the AFW because of her idolizing of Akiko-sama and Yukiko-sama, and never really considered what other girls might be here for. With some of her lingering fears about Kena resurfacing, Maddie slowly inched herself away from her, eventually backing herself against the wall. "N-n-now Kena-chan, that's not a funny thing to joke about, r-right...?"
