Please Don't Be Mad

Jay didnt want to let his mind wander or go anywhere he didnt feel comfortable with. He shook his head a little and looks around the room. "So...It seems you were cleaning or something. Would you like me to help you finish up or shall I do something else for you?"

"A little bit yeah." She admits to him. "Everything's done as far as I can tell, but thanks though." She thinks she did enough of a cleaning job before he came and didn't think it needed anymore.

He nods. Jay would lay back into the couch and guve a small sigh. "If there's anything I can do for you, then tell me" Jay takes a small pause before saying something a bit shyly. "I know we're not doing much, but I kike just being in your company. It beats sitting alone in an apartment in Japan..."

While she can't think of anything at the moment she does make a note of his office to do stuff for her. She mentions to him that usually she lives alone as well. The 'usually' part being a friend of hers stayed for a few days and left not too long ago. She does appreciate him wanting to be around her.

A few seconds of silence go by before she asks him what else he likes about her, other than the angry side of her. Her tone became slightly softer and her face a tiny bit redder. Almost difficult to tell as the colour change may be difficult to pick up unless someone was really good at noticing the hard to see. A small part of her wondered if Jay was secretly thinking of her in certain ways on his way here.

Jay those gut about a lot on his trip here. How much he had really gone through emotionally lately. He still hasn't told Lina that he met his mothers, though hey were his adoptive parents.Maybe that would come later. He was thinking of Lina most of the time, hoping everything would go smoothly.

She asked what else he liked about her. That caused him to look at her directly. He wasnt smart enough to pick up on the blush. "Well, youre very beautiful. And if I remember from our last meet, you kiss very well too."

Did he just say that?

She did appreciate the compliments but couldn't fully recall the second part that he said. It made her fumble what she said next and just stopped talking after a few seconds. She looked down slightly before looking back up at him.

He watches her reaction the entire time with a straight but slightly confused face. Jay couldn't help but start to chuckle a little bit after. "Oh? Is that all it takes to fluster you into being quiet? Wish I would have known." He jokes.

Part of her couldn't tell that he was just messing with her and while giving him a non approving look she asks "What's that suppose to mean ¬_¬?"

His joking chuckles turn to nervous ones when she gave him that look. "I-Im just kidding around, Lina." Jay would then give her a small and playful meaning shove.

She didn't look amused by his comment nor the playful shove but she said nothing and was willing to let it go.  "So...now what?"
