AV 16: Melody Serperior vs. Lena "Tracer" Oxton

While all of this was going on, Lena continued to lay prone in the ring, a good shot to the head away from being busted open. Her entire body throbbed with pain so intense, part of her wondered if she could even stand. Then she saw it...

Melody was arguing with the ref, fighting over the sledgehammer that was two seconds away from drilling itself into poor Tracer's skull. That in and of itself would have ensured a total victory for Melody. Grasping onto the lower rope, she dragged herself to her feet, hearing the scuffle and yells of Melody manhandling the ref, while the sound of the crowd covered her recovery. She managed to lean herself against the corner post right as the ref went down, and a slow clap built for the British bombshell, as she fixed her sights on Melody. Right at the moment her opponent would turn to face her, Tracer would shoot forward, ducking under her guard before doing a nimble backflip to bring her foot cracking into Melody's forehead in her signature Slipstream Pele Kick!!!

Melody couldn't hear the crowd. As she was retrieving the thrown sledgehammer, she could only think of getting back in the ring, hitting Tracer's head with it and pinning her (despite ref being out).

Losing track of time, she didn't think Lena would recover as she got back to the ring and rushed at the woman. But Tracer managed to duck under Melody's head right before she got hit in the skull with the head of the weapon.

"Stand still, damn---UGH!!!", stepping into a similar trap by Lena again, she managed to hit Melody with another Pele Kick. Melody lowered herself down to one knee, using the hammer as a support, stopping her from going down to a laid position completely.

Tracer stumbled away from Melody, leaning against the corner. Her skull throbbed, her legs ached, but this was he chance to finally turn the match around in her favor. Pumping the crowd up, she motioned for her opponent to get to her feet, "Come on...come on....COME ON!!!!"

The moment that Melody got to her feet, Tracer sprinted forward, aiming to spear the shit out of Melody and pin her for the match to end right there!

Melody could barely tell where she was right now, still in a daze over the Pele Kick. She saw Tracer looming nearby, unsure of what the woman was trying to do. She tried to push on the hammer to get back on her feet, to stand up and finally finish Tracer...

Until Lena rushed straight at her, wanting to burrow her shoulder into Melody's stomach. Whether through adrenaline or luck, Melody managed to catch Tracer's head at the last moment, catching her spear and turning it into an Impaler DDT, letting go of the sledgehammer to do it.

If successful, she would try and pin Tracer once again, hoping that this would finally end the match.

Everything rested on this one attack. Lena wasn't sure she could even push herself any harder than she was now. Her speed was perfect, her timing impeccable....but all for naught as Melody caught her and turned the spear into an Impaler DDT!

The moment her skull made contact with the mat, her entire body became dead weight for a few seconds. It was relatively easy for Melody to turn her limp body over and hook her dangling leg for the pin.

"ONE! TWO!" the ref called, only to be cut off when Tracer just barely got her shoulder up to break the count. Even still, she was clearly out of sorts, her eyes unfocused and her legs feeling like they were comprised of Jell-O.

"TWO----NO!!!", the awakened ref shouted, as Tracer got her shoulder up just in time.

"GRRRRRR...", she turned to the ref: "I am going to time your counts with a stopwatch when I rewatch this, and you better PRAY that I don't find out you've been slow counting my falls!", she warned the ref.

Turning back to Tracer: "WHY?! What's keeping you going?! Why not just end it already?! I don't want to hurt you! I just want to win!", her mouth was just stating her thoughts at the moment as she glared at the lying brunette, with Melody's emotions being a whirlwind of panic, sadness and anger. Getting up, Melody turned around. She couldn't find the sledgehammer anywhere, Melody likely throwing it outside in a hurry for the Impaler DDT.

What she did find, was the chair from the Northern Lights Suplex she did much earlier. Grabbing it by it's legs, the folded chair was pretty much still intact. Looking at Tracer, she would approach the woman, murder still in her eyes.

"This ends NOW! DON'T GET UP!", she screamed, as she got the cair above her head, aiming at Tracer's own head.

Tracer groaned, clutching her head and rolling to the ropes. The entire arena was spinning around, starting to make her feel nauseous. The brit slung her arm over the middle ropes, hauling her body up to rest against while Melody searched for a weapon. Finding the chair she had used to wreak havoc on Tracer's spine beforehand.

Digging down deep, the brunette grabbed the ropes, lifting her foot up to kick the chair right into the skull of Melody. Not wasting a precious moment, Tracer hauled herself up to balance on the top rope, with the crowd's excited shouting reaching a fevered pitch.

Just as Melody was swinging the chair down on Tracer's head, Lena, who kept shocking Melody again and again throughout this match, managed to kick the chair at Melody's head, the force of the swing of the chair and of Tracer's kick going directly into Melody's head.

Melody gasped from pain of the move as her eyes turned blurry and she herself went down on her right knee and arm. Her skull was in pain, both from the recent kick, but also from various other attacks by Tracer in the match. Pain wasn't the only thing the green-hair was feeling at the moment, however. Something was flowing down her face from her forehead. Getting her shaking left arm towards her face, she touched her forehead, and the sticky liquid that was going out of it. Sure enough, looking at said hand, even in a blur, Melody could make up the red colour of blood, the kick managing to bust Melody open.

"No....no!", anger was fully replaced with panic. Melody tried to get up to her feet as fast as possible. Tracer was just as beat up as her! She couldn't let any chance escape! She tried to get up, determined not to let Lena get the upper hand on her, determined to finish the match right here!

The sight of Melody busted open did not please the brit at all, and it pained her to do this to her first AFW opponent. Still, the only thing she could do is nail this last hit, and if it worked, go for the pin and end this. Standing up on the ropes, the British Bombshell would leap off, flipping in midair as she grabbed Melody's head. When Tracer landed on her ass, she brought her opponent's jaw crashing into her shoulder in her top rope stunner, in her premiere of Deja Vu!

Deja Vu:

The moment she hit the move, her tired, battered body fell back atop Melody, draping an arm over her in a tired pin while the ref slid in for the count.

"ONE! TWO!!" she called.

Steadying herself on the rope, Melody rubbed her eyes to get the blur out, looking for Tracer in order to ensure the woman won't jump at her out of nowhere...

...and that's when she saw the brunette on the top rope, ready to jump at Melody at moment's notice.

And that's just what she did.

In no state to get out of the way, let alone catch Tracer, Lena managed to grab Melody's head and bring it down on her jacket clad shoulder in the jump. Right in that moment, Melody's vision turned to black, as she was knocked out by the Top Rope Stunner.

The pin, at this point, was just a formality.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

"DING! DING! DING!"

And just like that, the match was over, Melody's first PPV outing ending in a loss for her.
