He's Ours!

"You don't think he found someone he likes, do you?" Meredy asked her best friend/love rival, Mavis as they wondered the many hallways of the AFW complex, passing by different offices of different managers.

"Definitely! It's the most logical conclusion! Why else would he be searching nonstop about information on some girl named Marissa!" Mavis said to the slightly taller Meredy.

"If it's true, what should we do?" Meredy asked, taking the lollipop she's been sucking on out of her mouth, "It's not like we can just conveniently bump into her and tell her to back off!"

"We'll just have to step up our game!" Mavis exclaimed as she jumped up and down.

"Step up our game? We practically throw ourselves onto him and we live with him!" Meredy sighed as she ran after her friend.

"Yes. Im arranging things now but its not easy you cant just say stuff, you need to be willing to back it up and thankfully for you I am. We just need a bit more time to get things in order. Manager has several wreslters so I have to guess who he might use and agaisnt who."

Marissa was always busy talking on her phone thanks to an earpiece while looking through her notes as she opened the door with her butt. Her mind was on several things that were escalating with her clients and naturally she had to micro manage all of it.

"What do you think we can do to 'up' our game?" Meredy asked, doing air quotes when she said up as she sucked on a brand new lollipop. Mavis skipped ahead and thought for a moment, what could they do? They bake cakes for him, do housework, help him with office work, and any other sort of housewife-material stuff. But no matter what they do, he just can't get their message.

"Hm, maybe a super duper mega awesome cake?" Mavis suggested as she started turned around to face her friend and started hopping backwards.

"That sounds like a good idea, but we're going to need a lot of-Mavis! Watch out!" Meredy called to her friend but Mavis would accidentally bump into someone who had just left their office. Mavis would fall forward in a comedic fashion before Meredy helped her up.

"We're so sorry Miss!" Meredy apologized as she helped Mavis back up to her feet.

Moving around and going forward she didnt hear the voices talking ir the warning before she collided with the much smaller girl. While she did not fall down she dropped some of her papaers as they met and looked around annoyned.

"Damn it, I had those organized too." she muttered to herself as she started to grab at them. "its okay just...can you help me with this, im in a hurry as it is."

"Sure thing!" the two girls said as they started to pick up the papers the woman just dropped. But as they picked up the papers, they started to recognize some of the people on the papers. Abigail, Siki, Yagyu, Hibari, Murakumo. Suddenly the two girls realized all of these papers were profiles of their friends!

"Um, excuse me miss. If you don't mind me asking, why do you have all of our friends' profiles?" Mavis asked, suspicious of the blonde woman now.

Marissa was quck to start pulling up the papaers before she looked up and saw that the girls in question were managers girls. Well two of them at least, and they were noticing the papaers in front of them. Naturally they were confused, they must not have been told of the deal yet.

"Your noss and I are competitors and have made a little wager. Naturally im researching all of his assests so I can be prepared. Thst clear things up? Now can you ahnd me the papers?" she asked extending her hand.

"Boss? Manager's not our boss! He's our friend!" Mavis said while puffing her cheeks, hiding her friends' profiles behind her, Meredy did the same.

"And we don't like you looking at our friends' profiles! They wouldn't like it," Mavis said childishly. Meredy narrowed her eyes at Marissa and puffed her cheeks as well, moving her lollipop to the right corner of her mouth.

Marissa rolled her eyes at the comments directed at her. "Does Manager assign your matches? Made sure your accomadated in this business? Paid for your matches and all? If so then he is your boss regardless if hes your freind. Theres no shame in this." she tried to clarify.

"Mya e you missed the point of these. Profiles are made to be viewed by anyone, its only full of secrets they want people to see and if they dont, then they shouldnt have put them on there. Im sure Manager would agree and has already done the same thing." she said trying to get her papaers reorganized.

Meredy let out a small, "Hmph!", before saying, "Regardless if he does those things, he treats us more than just 'clients'! After all, I doubt most managers are willing to allow his wrestlers live with him!"

Mavis heard Marissa's comment and thought about it. Sure, that is what the profiles are meant for but just seeing someone openly do it in front of her, she felt like she had to protect her friends. Just then, Mavis got an idea, she would whisper to Meredy her idea and nodded.

"If you want our friends' profiles back, then you're going to need to take them back!" Mavis giggled as she and Meredy turned and ran away from the blonde women with majority of their friends' profiles, heading to a specific place.

"It doesnt matter what he does. Hes still your boss, its not like that term is bad." she said feeling like she was surrounded by morons in this case. Suddenly the idiots up and decided thst not only where they going to not return her papers, they ran off with them!

Marissa almost gave chase but thankfully, she had a cool head. Smiling after a second she turned around. "Have fun but the profiles are online. Ill just reprint them." she said as she went back to her desk and got to work.
