AV 18 Adrian Kytes vs. Gwendolyn Dupont Bettencourt

Scurrying for safety like the classless philistine she was~...What more apropos imagery best encapsulated Adrian's dawning realization that she was utterly outmatched in every conceivable manner. Gwendolyn intended to find that very answer before this night's festivities was concluded. The heiress striding towards the corner Adrian was shuffling off to and once more digging her hands into that scruffy, ungroomed mane of hers...Gwendoilyn making a mental reminder to rigorously wash her immaculate hands once she was finished soiling them by placing them on this vulgar, uncouth commoner.

"Not the verbose, rebellious spitfire anymore, I see~...Being rendered speechless by my royal elegance is actually a common occurrence in the noble duty of educating uncivilized vagrants such as yourself on proper etiquette~..." Gwendolyn pompously imparted while turning her back to the corner ringpost and climbing from behind until she sat atop the turnbuckle. After tightly locking in a sleeperhold on Adrian, Gwendolyn would stand atop the middle ropes and haul the former cosplayer off of her feet to have her dangling for the full four seconds it took for the referee to count. The noblewoman willfully complying with a conceited smile by the fourth second, of course...

No rest from the wicked for Adrian it seemed, with Gwendolyn daintily slipping behind the brunette, only to bend down from her high perch and wrap her arms around the former cosplayer's skull and pull back trying to make Adrian dangle in the hangwoman's noose. While she might have been in trouble, Adrian still had enough wherewithal to get her feet on the bottom rope so she wasn't just dangling by her neck in the corner but still getting her head squeezed.

Despite her lack of verbose-ness, Adrian still was the rebellious spitfire as far as Gwendolyn was concerned and this time wouldn't look for the referee to stop thinking about shrimps on the barbie to get her out this situation. Reaching back with her good arm to grab the blonde by the back of the head she kicked off the rope, sending her forward out of the corner in a forward roll, taking the heiress for a ride with her in a cross between a snapmare and a diving senton from the middle rope, Adrian landing on top and sandwiching Gwen between her foe and the canvas.

Hope was most certainly not springing eternal amongst the audience in regards to Adrian's waning chances of emerging triumphant this night. Not when Gwendolyn refused to relent in bringing this foul-mouthed cretin to heel. All due in no small part to the fact that the pampered aristocrat was deriving such smug satisfaction from witnessing the former cosplayer writhe and squirm from being hopelessly outclassed when paired against Gwen's superior wrestling acumen~...Gwendolyn thinking herself so far ahead in the race by this point that she saw no harm in toying with the Phillie native by quite literally hanging her out to dry.

Assertively positioning Adrian's neck in the crook of Gwen's arm while angling her neck downward meant the sleeperhold was perfectly applied, but the rest of the execution would not be so well implemented. The grip on the back of Gwen's head was...disconcerting. Gwen's hazel-eyes widening before she wound up being propelled through the air from her perch for a booming splashlanding square in the middle of the ring. The sheer impact rocked her spine and compelled her to arch upward with a teeth-gritting grimace before she slumped back down beneath the cosplayer. A twitch and quiver here or there, but not much movement aside from that.

Adrian sat up gasping for air looking like an amateur cliff diver breaking the water's surface while she cradled her arm but underneath all the pain was a deep sense of satisfaction in her creativity when it came to inflicting pain. Under normal circumstances, trying to forward roll out of any choke was liable to make the situation worse for the choked and better for the choker, but Gwendolyn's insistence on stretching and bending the rules for the sake of smugness had created the opportunity that the former cosplayer jumped into, leaving the blonde worse for the ride. "That thesaurus up your ass ain't helping you now!" She wheezed as she shuffled around, not the best retort but the dizziness from a lack of oxygenated blood in the brain and doing a front flip for more than style had drained her quip ability.

Swinging one of her legs over the blonde as the referee managed to get in position for a possible pin, Adrian took a different tactic and some much needed payback against the heiress for holding on during a rope break. With her good arm grabbing Gwen by the wrist, she shuffled her hip right onto the elbow joint, squeezed her legs around the captured arm and threw herself backwards, her hips rising into a bridge as she tried to invert Gwendolyn's elbow in a straight armbar, letting her suffer the indignity of being down a limb if she didn't submit.

Flying through the air with the greatest of ease was a mesmerizing feat typically reserved for those employed by Barnum and/or Bailey. But the Australian faithful this night were being treated to just as thrilling a spectacle as the Phillie fanatic sent the both of them tumbling over themselves for a ring-trembling takedown, rousing the audience out of their disheartened state of hopelessness into a cheering frenzy with one deft counter. The only person not overtly thrilled with this turn of events, aside from the still recuperating entourage at ringside, was the disgruntled heiress laying sprawled out in front of Adrian after having taken a far more tumultuous spill than someone of her blue-blooded, upper class status could ever become accustomed to.

Involuntary backspasms meant that Gwendolyn was not exactly going to be performing a kip-up any time soon...she barely managed to shuffle a leg up by the knee before beginning to start lurching over. At least before the seething discomfort of having her arm suddenly hyper-extended to the side illuminated the fuzziness in her dazed head. The snobbish heiress having her cringing face wedged into the crook of Adrian's knee and her lower thigh, her first reaction being to feverishly stomp her boots on the mat before twisting towards Adrian to alleviate as much pressure as she could. But that was merely to help clear her head if only slightly from the burning pain spikes in her arm as Gwen attempted to shuffle towards the ropes and stretch her leg out in their general vicinity.

If the situations had been slightly different, had Adrian been able to see the pain shooting through Gwendolyn with a similar grimace to the one she had bared earlier, then she might have made some smug comment. Right now though she was a: looking up at the lights as she yanked backwards and b: her own face was a twisted grimace with the effort she was putting in to mangle the heiress. Switching from just pulling back with both arms to trapping the blonde's wrist in her armpit so she could get the most force out of her good arm, Adrian wasn't paying attention to anything other than causing pain, even as the blonde's boots inched their way to the ring ropes to force a break.

Gwendolyn dutifully remembers the terms grace under pressure and maintaining a stiff upper lip as cornerstones in tutelage from her etiquette instructors towards always having an air of elegance and civility about oneself. Through everyone unequivocally had their breaking point, which the heiress frantically hoped would not become quite literal given the hyper-extension of her tortured arm.

Gwendolyn's snarling visage firmly nestled against the back of Adrian's thigh, at the very least hiding how much excruciating torment she was currently in after having her wrist tucked underneath Adrian's armpit. The unbearable pain shooting up through her awkwardly angled arm being ample motivation for Gwen to concentrate her movements from flopping around like a fish, to a concerted extension of her right leg towards the ropes to have her toes land on the bottom tether. With the referee now getting in Adrian's face with warnings of a disqualification before shooting up her fingers while she stared counting.

"1!!...2!!..."

Adrian's face might have been twisted with rage, but through the red mist she was eventually able to hear the referee start to count for a rope break, even though it seemed that now it was the brunette in violation of the rules the official seemed to be a lot more alert and fast to count, or maybe that was just the adrenaline pumping making the passage of time seem weird to her. Either way the armbar had run it's course and Adrian rolled back and away, freeing the blonde from her torture for enough time to pass for a break to be declared before she sprang back into action: going from a crouch after the roll to getting enough height for a jumping double stomp down onto Gwen's chest.

Lining the pockets of certain executives of AFW was an investment well worth the swipe of Gwen’s pen on a check, and the piddling offering that, while a mere pittance to her, put dollar signs in the eyes of any boot-licking company man eternally grateful enough to do business with her. It ensured that her PPV matches got top billing right alongside championship matches, luxury accommodations that other wrestlers only dreamt of, and certain backstage and in-ring privileges. Such as the referee reprimanding Adrian the split-second Gwen's leg grazed the bottom rope, with a count that seemed to be played 1.5 times the normal speed.

Gwendolyn retracted her tormented limb and hugged it closely whilst sprawled out on her back, clenching and unclenching her fist to try and regain some lost feeling in her hyperextended arm while breathing several sighs of relief...until Adrian would stomp a proverbial mudhole upon her shapely breasts. The trampled heiress jackknifing and recoiling up to a seated position whilst shielding her chest with a sputtering cough from the air being stamped out of her lungs. Seeing retreat as a wise option, she started crawling and motioning towards the nearby ring corner. The posh blueblood clasping the middle rope to help guide the way to the tune of thousands upon thousands rallying behind the former cosplayer.

Adrian was quick to scramble back up to her feet even as the referee gave her a brief chastisement for going after an opponent who had already earned a rope break, but the brunette was fired up with two working arms once again and she wasn't about to let any little technicalities like "Rules" get in the way of kicking Gwendolyn's ass from here to... What's a place that's really far away from Australia that I can kick her to that means I wouldn't have to see her? France! Duh... Paris, and instead of letting the heiress have a nice chance to get some sympathy from her lackeys over the blatant attack on her breasts, Adrian pressed her luck and the assault, the crowd's cheers becoming so much white noise in her head.

Grabbing a fist full of blonde locks, Adrian viciously yanked Gwen away, forcing her to choose between forfeiting the safety of the corner and developing a massive bald spot as she was dragged back around into the waiting arms of the former cosplayer. One arm slung over her head as Adrian hoisted Gwen straight up in the air for a vertical suplex and let gravity do the rest of the damage for her.
