As Songbird hit the ground, Rain was tempted to rest. She was still running on fumes at this point and was hoping that'd be enough to keep Song down for a while. However, she knew that couldn't show any mercy anymore. She took a few breaths before cracking her knuckles. Okay... She thought, exhaling. She then walked over to Songbird and got down on her knees. She figured she should say something to her, but that seemed useless after all the two had said and done. She raised her palms and would start a rush a blows to Song's face and chest, hoping to knock her out.

Songbird groaned as she rubbed her head to try and relieve the pain from Rain's recent roundhouse kick. She roll on her back just to see where Rain was, but saw that she was cracking her knuckles before coming over to her on her knees. Then Rain began another assault with a rush of palm blows to Songbird's face and chest. "AGH! UNGH! RRGH!" she would cry out as every attack was effective in her current state.

But trying to block a few, Songbird didn't want the match to end this way. So, she would attempt to grab at those two arms and cross them side to side. If she did that, she would also try for a headbutt in hopes of getting Rain off of her and go for her next move. "This match will be over before you know it!"

Rain was surprised her attacks were having a heavy affect on Songbird. She was so worn out she figured that the blows would do little harm. Guess Song's just as tired as me. She thought, smiling slightly. At least she knew that they were both running out of energy. She didn't let up the attack, she kept going at it in hopes of finishing off Songbird. But her hopes were shot as Song grabbed Rain's arms and gave her a hard headbutt. "Gah!" She cried out, tears flowing out. She let out a growl and clenched his fists tightly. "Let's see how you like it!" She tried to headbutt Songbird back, preparing herself for the pain of their heads colliding.

Songbird smirked when she executed well on her headbutt against Rain, but as she was trying to get up, Rain hit back with her own headbutt. "AGH! Why, you-!" Songbird would exclaim as she tried to throw one punch to her opponent's face in order to push her off. If she was able to stand up again, she would also try to grab Rain by the arm and throw her over to the ropes to bounce back at her. Songbird has another thing coming for Rain that might end the match.

"Ah!" The punch to the face made Rain wince, but she didn't back off, she was too furious to. "Song..." She said, gritting her teeth. "You better get ready." She just wanted to just pound the daylights out of her. One of her hands was free now thanks to the punch. She formed a palm and aimed a hard strike to Songbird's head. If it hit, she would then aim a slap to her face as head.

Songbird tried to get up after throwing that punch, but surprisingly Rain resisted the pain and responded with a hard palm strike. "AUGH!" Songbird cried out as her head slammed back down onto the mat. She was quite frustrated when her opponent isn't giving her any chances, but inside she loved it because Rain was becoming a tougher opponent now. She then grunted when she received a slap to the face and head, but she didn't want to let it beat her down.

Instead, Songbird would attempt to take in the pain and tried to throw a spear at Rain's stomach just after the slaps took place. This would knock some air out of Rain and Songbird could push her off if this worked.

Just as Rain finished slapping Songbird, she was knocked to the ground by Song's spear. "Ah!" She cried out, breathing heavily. That hit took a lot out of her and she felt dazed. The last thing Rain wanted to do was lost like this, it would be humiliating. How the heck can she just keep fighting? The blonde wondered, struggling to stand again. She was still running on fumes and she didn't know how many more hits she could take, she have to just keep trying to get Song down and knock her out. She decided to catch her breath and wait for Song next most, playing defense for now.

Songbird would slowly try to get up as she was catching her breath and rubbing her pain and bruises on her head and body. As she was shaking on her hands and knees, she would look up at Rain and glared at her to show that she didn't want to stop until her opponent is defeated. When she finally got up on her feet, she would start walking and say, "OK, Rain. Are you ready for me to end this?"

If she got close enough, Songbird would try to quickly grab at Rain's left leg and spin her down onto the mat on her stomach. If this worked, she would also try to hold onto that leg to bend those bare toes while stomping down on her opponent's other toes of her resting foot to smush them under her boot and hold her down. Seeing that Rain was barefoot, Songbird decided to use that to her advantage.

Thankfully, Songbird took awhile to get up, giving Rain some time to relax and catch her breath. Okay... I can do this... just gotta' knock her out. She thought, going into a fighting stance again, preparing herself for whatever Song was about to do. She just had to keep a good defense and counter if she could. "I'm ready to kick your ass." Rain said coldly. Songbird then grabbed onto Rain's leg and spun her around. The girl staggered around the canvas, but stood her ground, though dazed and dizzy from the spinning. "Dizzy..." She said, wobbling a little before dropping to her knees.

Songbird was quite surprised when Rain managed to stand her ground, but unfortunately for Rain, Songbird wasn't finished with her yet. She would have to ditch her first intent and change her plan. This time, as Rain was dropping onto her knees, Songbird would quickly go behind her and jump to stomp on all ten of her toes of her bare feet before pushing Rain onto her stomach. If this worked, she would start to smush those toes underneath her boots.
