A Night In

It was probably the wine, Odessa figured, that was getting her little brown-haired friend to open up a bit. That was good; that was the wineâ€s entire purpose for being on this table.

“Itâ€s up to you, dear,” Odessa said. “If you really donâ€t want me to visit you, I wonâ€t, but that means youâ€ll need to come over here twice as often, you understand. It is your decision.” She would take another long sip of her wine, feeling it warming her insides just a little the more she drank. It had worked its charms on Mio already, but it was a double-edged sword, and Odessa would need to be careful not to drink too much, lest she get too frisky too soon.

When Mio asked where the bathroom was, Odessa smiled and pointed down a short hallway on the opposite side of the room. “Itâ€s the door at the end,” she explained, before picking up another piece of sushi and popping it into her mouth.

"T-Twice as often...?" Mio was startled by what Odessa said. "Eh... Well... we'll see about it haha..." she laughed dryly before heading out to the bathroom.

"Wheeew..."

She sighed heavily once she closed the bathroom door and washed her face. This is kinda troublesome... she told herself before looking at the mirror. Uh... she frowned a bit as she realized something. Her face had turned slightly red thanks to the wine. Now I can't drive back to the shop like this, right...? Another sigh escaped her lips.

Mio considered her option after wiping her face with a towel. She could drag her bike all the way back to the shop, which could take like half an hour at the very least. The other... was to stay here until she felt sobered up a bit, which she doubted she could do with Odessa around. Guess I'll head back before things get worse... She nodded and came out of the bathroom to approach the table.

"Well, it's been, uh, fun... but I think I should go back..." she told the dark skinned girl while her hand reaching for the cap she placed there. "Thanks for the meal..."

While Mio was in the bathroom, Odessa would sink back into her chair, chuckling to herself. She really had gotten into Mioâ€s head, it seemed. Not in a malicious way, of course—she had just been doing what she always did with pretty girls. Usually, she went after girls her own size, who were often just as predatory as she was, making it a bit of a dance when it came to who was really hunting who. Here, however, Odessa felt completely comfortable, like a jungle cat slowly circling its prey.

She would pop another sushi roll into her mouth, and was washing it down with another long sip of wine when Mio returned to the dining room, saying that she had to go now. Odessa frowned, rising up to her full height, her robe hanging slightly open to reveal just a tiny peek of her jet black underwear. “Oh, you donâ€t really have to go, do you?” she asked, crossing her arms over her chest. “Come on, eat a little more. Youâ€ll want a little more food in your belly to soak up all that wine. It couldnâ€t be safe to ride your bike back at this hour after drinking like that.”

Mio had expected that Odessa would try to prevent her from leaving, though she wasn't really sure why. Perhaps the girl was just that bored and didn't want to let her entertainment go yet. She wasn't really in the need to leave herself either, but it felt like a better option for her. I need an excuse... and quick... she thought before a quick glance at herself brought the idea.

"Well, I do need to go back to return the cash and stuffs..." Mio said as she averted her gaze from Odessa's own. They could wait, but any excuse works! "Besides I can just walk back... It's not too far, and uh... I'm used being on the streets by myself!" she added with a sheepish grin.

The brown haired girl felt like she already threw everything she had at the girl as it was, and should Odessa came with a convincing reply, she would probably have to stay. She couldn't just run away after all, right? That would be rude, not to mention that the dark skinned girl might try to catch her. Mio glanced at Odessa, her eyes catching a glimpse of the girl's bra beneath the robe, and she gulped. Hey, this isn't the time for that!

"It's not like we won't see each other again..." said Mio as she grabbed her cap and began to walk towards the door.

Just as she took her first step, though, her front leg accidentally hit the nearest chair, causing her to let out a short yelp and stumble to the front. She didn't fall, but now it looked like she's not even sober enough to walk!

Odessa was still frowning when Mio gave her explanation. She had to return the cash and, err, stuffs to the delivery company that she worked for. It made sense, sure, but Odessa didnâ€t like it. It was obvious that, while true, that was still just an excuse, and what the brunette really wanted right now was simply to extricate herself from an awkward situation, and have some time to regroup. She said that they would see each other again, sure, but Odessa imagined that the smaller girl might try to avoid her if she let her get away.

“Now, hold on, there,” Odessa would say, walking around the table to try to block Mioâ€s path as the girl headed for the door. She didnâ€t even have to do anything, however, as the universe would work its magic, causing Mio to stumble and very nearly fall on her face, just barely managing to steady herself. Odessa knew it was just an accident, and very unlikely to be a product of the alcohol, but this was her chance. She would stride forward and wrap her arms around Mioâ€s shoulders, dragging the girl backwards.

“You are not going out there in such a state,” she said protectively. “Now sit down and relax for a little while until youâ€ve sobered up.”

"Eehh... I'm fine, really!" Mio told Odessa as she steadied herself, though the dark haired girl soon had her and dragged her back. "Uhh, fineee," she scoffed. "But no more drinking..."

Reluctantly, she complied with the taller girl and sat back on her chair. Things just didn't go her way at this point. Bleh, there goes my chance... stupid chair... she thought to herself, slightly pouting while looking at the chair she accidentally kicked. She knew she barely drink enough to make her drunk! Letting out a sigh, Mio tried to calm herself a little by leaning against the chair, rolling her eyes as she tried to come up with another excuse. She couldn't find any.

"Oh well..." she muttered before looking at Odessa. "I just stumbled on that chair, you know... I'm not even drunk..."

Odessa smirked, feeling triumphant. “Of course you arenâ€t,” she said sarcastically, although, really, she knew that Mio was still in almost full control of her faculties. The dark-skinned beauty had needed an excuse to keep the smaller girl there, though, and this one did the job just perfectly.

“Anyway, thereâ€s no reason for you to go so soon,” she continued, waving one hand in the air while the other picked up another sushi roll with the chopsticks and popped it into her mouth. She would swallow it quickly, before continuing: “You should get more food in your stomach to combat all the alcohol, so eat. But, besides that, we still have so much to talk about, and Iâ€m sure your superiors wonâ€t mind waiting an hour or two longer for you to return.”

Putting her chopsticks down and picking up her own wine glass again, she would lean on her elbow. “So, tell me something interesting about yourself, my darling,” she prodded playfully, before having another sip of wine.

"Hmmph," Mio scoffed before she picked up another sushi roll and ate it rather begrudgingly.

Odessa might have a point, so she ate a few more. The sooner the alcohol gone from her body, the better. It's not like she's dying to leave at the moment, but she felt rather uneasy staying in this place for too long. I'll just play along a bit longer, I guess... She could always told her boss that the traffic delayed her return. It's not like she had a lot of cash with her currently.

"Uhm, can I get a glass of water first?" she asked after hearing the girl's question, slightly twitching as Odessa referred to her as "darling".

While waiting for the dark skinned beauty to get the water, Mio would think of something to tell her. Something interesting about herself? Her eyebrow arched as she recalled her past, but nothing really seemed interesting enough to be told. Sure, there's her past as a street brawler, and how she joined an underground league that catered to the hentai-style matches above anything else... Then there's her family, a topic she'd rather avoid whenever she could. Tch... what should I tell her...

"Err... What exactly do you want to know...?" she would ask when Odessa returned with the water.

For the moment, Mio seemed to have decided to stay, although the decision was certainly coerced. When she asked for water, Odessa was more than happy to get it. “Of course,” she agreed, getting back to her feet and making her way towards the sink. “Donâ€t you go anywhere!”

She would slink over to the sink, grabbing a glass from the cabinet and quickly filling it up almost all the way to the top with water. She would then walk back to the table, slipping behind Mio and leaning down to rub the girlâ€s shoulder fondly as she set the water down in front of her. “There you go,” she said, with a little grin, before making her way back around to her side of the table. She sat down, before continuing, in response to Mioâ€s question: “Anything I suppose. Where you grew up, your wrestling experience, any particular fetishes…whatever you want to tell me.”

"Heh, thanks," Mio said before she drank the water from the glass and let out a satisfied sigh. "Uhh... let's see..."

She paused for a bit, glancing at Odessa rather uncertainly.

"I'm from Yokohama, not too far away from here," she began. "My family was uh... Well, my parents divorced," said Mio with a sigh, looking away for a bit. "Anyways, I didn't initially start as a wrestler. Learned some boxing from a neighbor, and I was, like, just doing it for fun at first. I started to learn about wrestling around high school, but I never really thinking about a life as a wrestler myself..."

"It's just, as things grew worse at home, I started to wander around the streets until late, getting into fights with some punk occasionally. Heh, I guess it was a dangerous thing to do..." she sighed again. "At some point someone mentioned about a street fighting league so I decided to try it."

Heh, why I even bothered to tell her everything...

"Long story short... This guy offered me a job as a fighter in his club in Tokyo, which was why I moved here," she continued. "Man, I wasn't even told that it was a sex fight league, geez..." her cheeks slightly blushed. "It was really awkward you know... I never even had a girlfriend, let alone do those stuffs..." Mio scoffed, averting her gaze from Odessa's. "But! In the end I managed to survive, and even offered a spot here in AFW. And I was like, never heard about it until I moved to Tokyo, so yeah, it's kinda weird how things turned out to be..."

The brown haired girl took another sip from her glass and let out another sigh.

"Only got a couple of matches before I fought you, won one, lost one..." she glanced away again as she briefly remembered her bout with Irezumi. "So yeah, that's pretty much all, I guess..."
