In Past Times

Anampo bowed to Ryan. "N-No,sorry Mr. John.The comics I get are come from special mail orders on the backs of previous comics.The first one I got was from my grandfather." She smiles softly before thinking where they should go.Anampo brainstormed heavily before comming up with another place. "Would you like to come with me to the windmill? Its got a really nice view." She looked to both Ryan and Cougra when speaking.

Cougra was intrigued to hear how you can use special mail orders to receive new comics. "Oh, that's pretty cool!" Then she would hear about a windmill that has a great view. "Hmm, I never been inside of a windmill before. What is it like?"

Ryan's interest was piqued, he had been from the US to China but not once had he got to a windmill.

"That's sound like fun, show us the way Anampo." Ryan said as he follow the girl to the location.

"So what's the weather like here?" he would ask to make some small talk.

Anampo starts to head eastward towards the large and easily seen windmill.She looks back and hears both Cougra's Ryan's questions. "Hm? The weather? Its usually nice.The winter's are like you would think.Snow and ice all around.But,school only last for three months,so there's plenty of time to relax in each season.And a windwill's inside consist of nothing more than blank space and a staircase to the top."

"Three months? Your school lasts for three months?" Cougra herself would like her school days to be like that if possible. "How is that possible?" She continued to follow curiously, wanting to know more.

Ryan's eyes widened a little "Three months? That's surprising." actually now that he thought on it it wasn't actually strange. When you've seen and done the things that Mr Knight has done, you tend to be desensitised to things like that.

"Well I'm sure we will enjoy our time here, is there any festivals that we should know about?" the young boy asked.

"Three months,give or take a few days....100 days of the year is devoted to school,and the other 265 is for 'fun'..." She said this word with a bit of spite riding along behind it.Anampo got to the windmill.The four arms spun slowly,two windows facing behind them.

Anampo went to the door,taking out a key.This quickly would insinuate that this is where she lived.This was Anampo's home. "Give me a second,friends...."

"I see," said Cougra feeling a little jealous. "I wish my school was like that." She would follow the rest of the group to the windmill as they were going to Anampo's room. "Wow...does your parents live here also?"

Ryan remained silent as he walked along with Anampo and Cougra, he was digesting all the information just in case.

He noted the windmill and felt rather.....at peace, like it helped him feel calm for some reason.
Mr Knight noted that Anampo took out a key to open the door and thought that it seemed like an alright place to live. Better than where he was at any rate when he was a kid.

"Do we leave our coats and shoes at the door?" Ryan asked, he wanted to make sure he was following a polite route here. The last thing he wanted was to muck it up.

"Yeah,but they probably aren't here.My parents are sort of....Buisness people,not really in the picture." Anampo replied,the key opening the door.Inside was the low rumble of the arms of the windmill.There was a staircase that lead up two more floors while winding around the walls.

Anampo set the keys down on a nearby table.She points to their shoes and shakes her head. "Yes,off.Its hard to sweep dirt off of the stone floor."
