Lu Jiao Jocelyn bounced on her heels. The Chistralian had requested a match. Her record wasn't very stellar and with Bonnie looking for a fight, and Allison breathing down her neck, she had to show everyone how well and capable she was. Maybe if she trashed a few girls, Bonnie might understand that fighting with her would be even worse for her health than getting ambushed by her.

She wwas wearing a black tank top with a white sports bra underneath. Black track pants with a white strip and black tennis shoes. Her hair was done up in messy spiked and her tattoos shown brilliantly along the glistening sheen of her exposed arms.

She received boos and with the occasional cheer breaking through the noise. She had gone from a surly underdog who threw tantrums to a cold hearted bitch. The fan letters had dwindled. People finally saw her for who she really was and they finally acted appropriately. That was how it was supposed to be. Jocelyn slid into the ring and stretched in her corner. She then turned and faced forward, towards the entrance ramp to see who dead woman about to walk through the door was.

Rosie didn't really feel anything about her debut. She was nervous but... she wasn't? This lack of nervousness made her nervous, but that wasn't REALLY being nervous, was it? Well, whatever. She put on the conductor-themed outfit, complete with a marching band baton and an excessively sized hat that somebody in charge of promotions decided would fit her. She had only meant it as a joke during her auditions, but somehow, it stuck.

This was the time to make it big, right? This was her first real venture into something outside of school, and she was going to make it spectacular! The display was so much more energetic than the first entrance, and the reaction was appropriately more positive. Once Rosie made it to the ring, she waved, made a bow like she would have done with an actual band and then went inside.

The conductor took a close look at her opponent, all punked out with tats and all, clearly the no-humor ice bitch type. Not the type of person who was going to talk much anyways, so Rosie skipped out on the greeting, just giving her a small wave and a smile, before getting to her corner, leaving the unnecessary accessories there.

Jocelyn's eye twitched when the girl came in with all of her invisible fanfare. She was ridiculous and Jocelyn was almost salivating at getting her claws into the girl. That was, until she saw the girl's actual height. She was tiny! Jocelyn didn't care who her opponent was and she didn't mind taking on a rookie but this was almost insulting.

Jocelyn took a step forward and stomped her foot down when Rosie smiled and waved. "Oi, ya sprog!" She said in her thick Australian accent that didn't look like it belonged to the lithe Chinese girl one bit. "This aint that damn ankle biter league they got here. Bugger off back underneath gammer's skirt, eh!" Jocelyn said as she waved off Rosie dismissively.

Still, there was something about her that caused Jocelyn not to completely pause. <What the fuck is with that name, huh? Xu?> Jocelyn said in Mandarin. Was the tiny conductor trying to mock her with a name like that? Especially with such a hideously Western name in front of it. It was a lot like her own and Jocelyn's cheeks reddined as she fumed at Rosie.

The accent seemed a little out of place. She looked Asian, probably Chinese, but she was talking like she had just bounced off a kangaroo. (Admittedly, Rosie's knowledge of anything outside of America was just a liiittle lacking) "Umm... what?" the pink-haired conductor got lost at "sprog", although it vaguely sounded like this Australian was insulting her height.

The sudden shift to Mandarin took her off guard again, so she WAS Chinese... but she was also fluent in AlmostButNotReallyEnglish. "What about my name? I can't change what my birth certificate says." She responded in English; she knew Chinese enough to understand, but she never liked using it. Rosie glanced up again (literally, she couldn't see Jocelyn's face without lifting up her neck) and saw how red her face had gotten at apparently the sound of her name.

"You want to chill out? Don't want you popping a blood vessel before it starts."

"Say it in Chinese, cunt!"

Jocelyn barked. She knew that Rosie knew but she responded in English. Jocelyn balled her fists and scraped her foot against the canvas like a bull. She even snorted. <You don't look one bit Chinese, you ankle biter.> Jocelyn spat in Mandarin.

When the bell rank, Jocelyn sprung forward like a bolt of lightning and charged at Rosie. She stopped on a dime, pivoted and aimed a tight side kick at the conductor's face, looking to take her head clean off! Or, at least her stupid hat!

Rosie got pretty annoyed at anyone who assumed just because she had a Chinese-sounding last name, she was Chinese. (Which she technically was, but that was beside the point). "Maybe I don't look it because I'm not Chinese!" Rosie didn't understand why this offended Jocelyn so much, it wasn't as if one's nationality mattered.

There wasn't much time to dwell on it, the bell rang and Chinese(?)-Australian-Maniac went off, getting right up to her, and preparing to kick. Rosie saw it, and ducked. Her lack of height came in handy here, and the leg went high over her head, but low enough to knock off the silly hat. Thank god I don't have to wear that all night.

While Jocelyn's leg was still up off the ground, Rosie sent a quick kick of her own at her other leg, hooking it and ideally bringing her down.

Jocelyn kicked the silly hat into oblivion with her powerful kick, sending it arcing out of the ring like it was a beach ball. It felt good, but not as good as if she had connected with Rosie's head.

The tiny conductor rushed under the kick and before Jocelyn couldeeven plant her leg, Rosie's foot snagged her other leg and craned her to the ground. The Chistralian flopped and scrambled away, hopping to her feet, she spun around to face Rosie.

"Oh, you're such a bloody septic!" Jocelyn snarled. <That's why you can understand Mandarin perfectly fine, right!?"

Jocelyn seethed and charged back i n, this time she wound up her arm and aimed an arcing elbow at Rosie's head.

Rosie managed to trip Jocelyn down, but her Chinese-obsessed opponent moved away too fast to do anything with it. With Jocelyn back on her feet, she shot another insult that Rosie didn't really understand, and then changing languages again. "Who cares? I'm not Chinese!" Rosie shot back.

Coming back in, Rosie saw Jocelyn bringing her arm around, but didn't react in time to stop a hard elbow strike. Crying out, she'd strike back with a quick fist aimed for Jocelyn's chest.

"Guh!"

Jocelyn's elbow hit but the tiny fist stifled her as it crashed into her chest. She backed up and rested one clenched fist against her bosom and glared at Rosie. The Chistralian was seeing red from the pink haired girl's insulting words. "Something wrong with bein Chinese!?" She screeched and flung herself at Rosie, looking to spear the diminutive conductor into the ground!

"What's wrong with not being Chinese?!" the pink-haired American really didn't know why Jocelyn was so adamant about it. Rosie barely finished the thought when her opponent made a very wild scream. Rosie looked up, seeing her tattooed foe run up towards her, too late to get away.

"GwaaUUGH!" Rosie's tiny frame flopped onto the ground from the force of the raging Joc.
